The Inn at Birches Garden is a country bed and breakfast situated on a working Arabian horse farm between Greencastle and Mercersburg, PA. Located on a 50+ acre property in the beautiful Cumberland Valley 1 and 20 minutes north of Washington DC, 1 hour south of Harrisburg, PA and 3 hours west of Philadelphia, PA. The newly renovated 120 year old farm house has four bedrooms each with private baths. Enjoy a book in a hammock on the porch or in the poolside gazebo, swim in the outdoor pool, fish in the spring-fed bass pond, observe the grazing horses, walk the many nature trails, wade in the stream bordering the property, ski or golf at the local resorts and enjoy a full country breakfast served every morning.
Horse owners are invited to bring their horses.The Inn at Birches Garden is an ideal country getaway.

From Washington DC – 1hr 20 minutes –Take I-495 to I-270 north. Take I-270 north to I-70 west to I-81 north. Take I -81 north to exit 3, Molly Pitcher Highway/Rt 11 in PA for Greencastle. At off ramp turn left onto Rt 11 north to intersection at second light. Turn left at light onto Rt 16 west for approximately 3-4 miles. At 1st full crossroad turn right onto Rabbit Road.. Continue approximately 1.4 miles cross bridge at bottom of steep hill, continue for 400 to 500 yards . Take 1st lane on the right to The Inn at Birches Garden. - Nearest major airport: Baltimore, MD (BWI-Baltimore Washington) 90 miles
