Wonderful B&B near Cherry Springs State Park

    May 08, 2013

Joe and Gail have a fine B&B in Potter County only 8 miles from Cherry Springs State Park where we attended a dark skies program on a May Saturday evening. Our room was very comfortable with fine furnishings and all the touches. The grounds are bordered by forest so we enjoyed sitting on the roomy porch doing some relaxing birding in the early evening. Joe and Gail were very gracious and provided a fine breakfast complete with country hospitality, conversation and stories in the relaxing group dining area. We highly recommend this B&B and would hope to stay there on any return trips to the area. Thanks, Joe and Gail.

Perfect place to rest your head and body

    May 02, 2013

My wife and I drove for hours on the way to Frosty Hollow just enjoying the mountains. When we arrived it was the perfect picture of a bed and breakfast. There was a main house and a barn and a small stream running through the meadow. When we went to sleep we opened the window and every time I woke up I could hear the brook outside and it was so peaceful. The next morning as we were going to breakfast we met another couple and had the privilege of sharing a meal and time with them. We would definitely recommend this place to all.

    A Nice Getaway

    March 31, 2013

This is a nice place to stay just to get away for an evening. My only complaint is that we were not given an itemized receipt when we paid for our room. We were told how much we owed and that was it. I feel an itemized receipt should be required to show the room rate, taxes and other fees to be sure you are getting charged the correct price.

    A gem!

    March 13, 2013

Joe and Gail do a fantastic job! The atmosphere felt to me like going to a favorite relative's house to stay. Appropriately, although it was March, the hollow was frosty (downright snowy!) and the hot breakfast, fine accommodations and great conversation gave us a wonderful start to the day.
