The Inn was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Bartender and waitress (Matt & Liz) were excellent.

July 06, 2012
We stayed overnight on June 29, 2012 and other family members had a room as well. Our room was very nice, quiet, nicely air-conditioned. We were greeted by the assistant manager who went out of his way to welcome us and explain details about the inn. Cocktails on the patio were excellent and the dinner was exceptional and well-presented. The only complaint we have is the "continental" breakfast in the morning. It consisted of a pot of coffee, warm cans of juice with no ice and a bag of supermarket donuts. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

June 01, 2012
My wife and I spent a wonderful, relaxing evening in this lovely country inn. The suite was spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. The staff was more than helpful, courteous and welcoming. The dining experience was outstanding. We also loved the freshly baked scones and tea before leaving the next morning. We would highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway any time of the year and cannot wait to return in the fall to enjoy the foliage and cozy fireplaces. Camelot is truly a gem!
2.8 out of 5A disappointing night
April 06, 2012
We arrived at the Camelot Restaurant and Inn around 6 p.m. on Saturday, when the dinner/drinks crowd were also arriving at the on-site restaurant. A congenial assistant manager seemed to be surprised that there were overnight guests at the b & b part of the enterprise; he apparently found some record of the reservation, but first showed us to a room that we had not reserved (and paid for in advance) and finally he settled us in the right room and helped to bring the luggage up the stairs. The room was clean and functional. We had dinner in the bar, (the kitchen accommodates both the restaurant and bar) and the meal preparation and service were above average. What a surprise it was to wake on Sunday morning, preparing for a long drive ahead, and to discover that we were the only people in the place, all doors were locked, and to leave we had to unlock doors and leave the premises unsecured. There was no breakfast, no coffee or juice, and no one to tell us that there would be no breakfast! Would we book here again for b & b? -- no. Would we book for dinner? - possibly if we were in the neighbourhood, but that is not likely since it is off the beaten track for travellers.
Innkeeper Response
Camelot Restaurant and Inn would like to thank the guests who stayed with us on April 7, 2012 for posting their thoughts on BedandBreakfast.com. We are always looking for ways to improve our guests' experience here and we appreciate the response. We also would like the opportunity to clarify a few issues as well. Our website, www.camelotrestaurantandinn.com, as well as the listing on bedandbreakfast.com, indicates that we offer a daily complimentary coffee, tea and juice station with freshly baked danish or scones. It also indicates that a hot breakfast brunch menu may be enjoyed on Saturdays and Sundays only from 11:00-2:30pm. Our management staff routinely welcomes each guest upon arrival with an explanation of our breakfast options and eating area, the hours of operation of our dining room, drop key information as well as the location of any pertinent phone numbers they may need. We work hard to provide a comfortable and relaxing lodging and dining experience here at Camelot. We apologize for any misunderstanding that may have occurred upon check in causing our guests' stay to be less than they expected. We are confident our beautiful accommodations, outstanding food and conscientious staff will continue to provide future guests of Camelot with an enjoyable stay they will want to return to again and again.
