This is the second time we have patronized the Pheasant Field B&B. Once again the rooms were immaculately kept, roomy and stylishly decorated. Our breakfasts were always deliciously prepared with both a sweet or savory option to choose from. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained and they generously offered us a place to park our suburban and enclosed car trailer when we returned from the car show at the fairgrounds. Most especially, are the friendliness of the innkeepers, Kit and Robin, who make you feel like their home is yours during your stay. We will definitely return when we return to Carlisle...without a question!

This is a special place and the innkeepers are wonderful! We do not usually eat breakfast but certainly changed our minds here - both mornings were delicious and perfectly presented. Our suite was spacious and the sheets were amazing - we ordered come before we left. Such a relaxing, idyllic location, near Gettysburg and some local wineries - would definitely recommend!

My wife and I have stayed at this charming Bed and Breakfast twice now. We love it! We have been to others across the northeast and this is the one we have enjoyed the most. the area is quaint and charming and it is a short drive to many different events. Pheasant Fields itself is great. Very comfortable beds, great food, great reading selection, plenty of things to do if you want to stay in and a very friendly and accomodatiing staff. We call Pheasant Field our home away from home and we hope to visit many many times in the future.
It's great when we hear from our return guests who call us their home away from home. Thank you for your compliments and positive review and we look forward to your visit with us again in the future!

After 4 hours in the car in DC traffic (with a puppy - yikes!), we were about 1.5 hours late and Robin and Kit were gracious, ending each of my "we are going to be late" phone calls with "its more important to us that you get here. - drive safely!" Robin greeted us at 10PM and showed us our cottage. In the morning, Rehab greeted us with a hearty tail wag and escorted us to our table for breakfast. Kit makes WONDERFUL breakfasts! It even came with a breakfast "appetizer" baked apple that was out of this world! Our puppy, Summer, love the place. she slept on the doggie bed and saw her first horse! The property is serine and quiet and filled with well cared-for animals. We will be back for more of this. LOVE it here! -Kathy & Parry and Summer.
