The Merry Inn, your home away from home, is nestled in the beautiful Pocono Mountains, close to shopping, hiking, golfing, horseback riding, antiquing, skiing, and more.
Built Cape Cod style in the 1940s, it served as a boarding house. It was then a private home for about twenty years until 1994. Six quaint, well-appointed guest rooms with private baths are decorated with comfortable eclectic furnishings in a country and victorian style. On the rear, second level deck, "built over a piece of the mountain" is a year round hot tub that faces the woods. A full 'made to order' breakfast is served daily in the sunroom overlooking the brook. Hosts Jenepher Weathers and Mary Guy provide their personal touch to help you enjoy the warm and always inviting accomodations.
You may want to read or relax on the porch, gather in the parlor for games and lively conversation or you may choose a full day of activity from our many neighborhood attractions. At The Merry Inn, we strive to attend to your personal needs. Visit us for that special memory of a lifetime or a quiet getaway. North East extension (I-476) of Pennsylvania Turnpike to Lehigh Valley, Exit 33, Allentown-Bethlehem. East on Route 22 for 17 miles to Route 33. Go north on Route 33 to I-80 West at Bartonsville. Continue on I-80 to exit 298, Scotrun. At the end of the ramp, make a left onto Route 611 North to Mt. Pocono. Turn onto Route 940 East. Follow Route 940 East for about 3 miles and make a left onto Route 390 North. Follow Route 390 North approximately 6 miles through the town of Mountainhome and Cresco to the Canadensis traffic light. Go straight through the light. The Merry Inn is a 1/4 mile from the traffic light on the left.

Northeast extension (I-476) of the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 35 (Lake Harmony) to I-80 East. Continue on I-80 East to I-380 North, Exit 3, Mt. Pocono. Make a right onto Route 940 East , continue to the intersection of Route 611 South. Make a right onto Route 611 South, make the first left at the light, to stay on Route 940 East. Continue for about 3 miles. Turn left on Route 390 North. Drive past the Canadensis traffic light. The Merry Inn is a 1/4 mile from the traffic light on the left.
New York and New Jersey
Interstate I-80 West into Pennsylvania. Approximately 1.5 miles beyond the Delaware Water Gap Bridge Toll Booth, turn right at Exit 309, Marshall’s Creek. Take Route 447 North to the Village of Canadensis. At the traffic light in Canadensis turn right onto Route 390 North. The Merry Inn is about 1/4 mile from the light on the left.

In the event that the reservation must be cancelled, your deposit will be returned less a $50.00 service fee
provided the following conditions are met:
Cancellation is received two weeks before your reservation date.
Cancellation for holiday and special events, 30 days before your reservation date.
If the above requirements are not met, the deposit will be forfeited and you will be billed for the entire reservation period.
Failure to stay for the entire amount of time reserved will be considered a cancellation and full rates will apply. No show or same day cancellation will be charged the full amount of the reservation period.
