Casa Sagrada is located 16 miles from the city of Oaxaca in the weaving village of Teotitlan del Valle. The casa, designed by artist Arnulfo Mendoza and decorated with original art & handmade textiles, is a tranquil haven surrounded by spectacular countryside, perfect for the horse riding y hiking we specialize in.       A rich blend of toasted almonds, sesame seeds & raisins is paired with roasted chiles, tomatoes & garlic, and slow simmered to perfection with just a hint of chocolate added. Fresh corn tortillas are dipped in this irresistible sauce ( that is what mole means in the language of the Aztecs ) and accompanied by garlic braised chicken and fresh Oaxacan cheese.
