Wheeler on the Bay Lodge and Marina. Six rooms are in the long building. Four rooms and office are located on the right side. Notice the 100 foot long dock to moor private boats and kayaks. The Honeymoon (#7)with private veranda is on the water end of the long building. The Sunset and Glory Suite are on the water end on the right side.
Enjoy wild Roosevelt Elk grazing on Lazarus Is. which is across the bay from the lodge.

One of the most beautiful places in the world! 11 Rooms, 6 with private spas. Each room is individually decorated with its own theme. Rooms are airy, clean, comfortable and laden with amenities. All rooms have a fireplace, table & chairs, TV, VCR/DVD, fridge, microwave coffeemaker and WI/FI. From your room or the private deck enjoy the ambience of Nehalem Bay & Neahkahnie Mt. A plethora of wildlife can be viewed from the expansive 200-foot waterfront deck. The 100-foot private dock provides ample moorage for boats, crabbing or fishing. Rent our kayaks for enjoyable explorations on the bay or for stays of 2 nights or more you get free use of Kayaks. We can help set up a Guided fishing trip with one of the local guides.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite because it is the only one with a king bed. It is an adorable room with a huge deck near the water. We also enjoyed the very deep, red jacuzzi tub. The platform bed was a little firm for us, and the bath is very small. However, the lovely setting and uniqueness of the room made up for that!

We stayed in the Glory Suite and it was awesome as always! Everytime I come here there is something new. The new decking with the b-b-q is a very nice touch. We will be back soon and often!

We stayed in the honeymoon suite because it is the only one with a king bed. It is an adorable room with a huge deck near the water. We also enjoyed the very deep, red jacuzzi tub. The platform bed was a little firm for us, and the bath is very small. However, the lovely setting and uniqueness of the room made up for that!

Second time staying here. Honeymoon suite is our new favorite. Very eloquent yet still a home like feel. We loved the comfortableness of it all and the privacy was an added bonus. We will be back many more times.

My Wife and I were looking at different areas on the coast when we came across this gem. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend. Our room was clean ,quiet and the Service was excellent. We will definetly be back.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Wheeler Lodge. After researching the B&B sites for days I took the plunge and booked a room there. I was nervous that because the price was so reasonable the rooms wouldn't live up to the descriptions and pictures. I was pleasantly surprised! The rooms are exactly as pictured, with renovations & upgrades currently happening (the owners told us this). It was very clean and cozy. We stayed in the Sunset Room as recommended by another reviewer. The view was perfect! The owners are wonderful, friendly, helpful people that make you feel special. They give you the privacy you want but are around when needed. We had the best weekend, staying at the Wheeler, shopping and dining in the nearby towns and enjoying the ocean and bay views. We will definitely stay here again in the near future!

From Portland: Take Highway 26 West to the end, follow the Cannon Beach Sign heading South on 101. Stay on 101 to Wheeler(19 miles). The Lodge is on the Water Side of Wheeler. The buildings are gray with teal trim. A big 60's sign says "Wheeler lodge". From Highway 6 to Tillamook take 101 North for 24 miles to Wheeler. Same directions as above. Portland - Follow signs to Highway 26. You will traverse the airport road to 205 South, stay in left lane until you Pass the I84 East off ramp, Move OVER to right lane and take the Portland (I84 West) off ramp on the far right side. Don't miss this turnoff! You will be on I84 to the end. Take the left off ramp to I5 South and quickly move over to left lane. Stay in this lane as you will circle South Portland moving in a Westerly direction on freeway 405. Take the Beaverton or Highway 26 West off ramp.
