My family just spent another fantastic week at McKenzie River Inn. Bert, Hubertina and Ellie accommodate our large family and make every aspect of our stay enjoyable. We have three generations of family looking forward to this vacation every other year - even the dogs love it! From the delicious breakfasts (and several food allergies to consider), our bocci ball tournaments and badminton games, loud card games at night, quiet time for reading and relaxing by the beautiful McKenzie River and of course a white water rafting trip with Bert, there is something for all of us to enjoy. It is a pleasure to migrate back to the McKenzie River Inn year after year!

    It's mostly about the view.

The Osprey Cottage was quaint, if a bit worn and funky (for the price). The view from the deck and riverside was lovely and relaxing. The proprieters were friendly, and breakfast was healthy and tasty. We were a bit surprised by some of the items not available - if we planned to stay there in the future, we would know to bring our own corkscrew, and briquets and lighter fluid for the BBQ.

The Proprietor was very health conscious, dietary considerations and proportion sizes. She accommodated my class schedule, which was very much appreciated. It was a great setting for me.
