My stay, neighborhood and service were pleasing as always. Only thing disturbing this is finding a bug or 2 in the room - I guess it happens this time of the year, but disinfestation might be required. Also - the tap in bathroom was licking a little bit.

Enjoyed a fun weekend get away in Portland staying at Britannia at Terwilliger Vista as our staging point. The inn is easy to get to and only about a five to ten minute drive downtown. Only two of the four rooms were booked and I was surprised that the innkeeper did not upgrade the two couples to rooms on the opposite side of the house so that we were not right on top of each other. Room was cozy and charming (Blue room) once heated with a space heater. When we arrived it was very chilly in the house which was not very welcoming considering the blustery, rainy weather outside from which we were seeking respite. There was a mad dash to get space heaters lit off. Not sure what was up with the central heat. As we had indicated the time we would be arriving, it was a little disappointing that a crackling fire wasn't waiting for us in the living room with hot tea or something laid on. Inn was comfortable but dated. Breakfasts were quite good. Really enjoyed meeting the other couple. During the first night our room was attacked by a swarm of beatles - I guess coming in somehow from the rain. I killed about twenty that were landing on the lampshade next to the bed. Their carcasses fell down behind the nightstand. It was quite dusty back there. Not sure I would go back.

    Beautiful home. Comfortable stay.

We enjoyed out stay. We needed to leave early in the morning and Hayley was cheerfully willing to provide breakfast at 8:00, rather than 9:00.

I had a great stay and the best breakfast I have ever had. Haley was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to make sure our experience was a good one! The only suggestion I would make would be to add some more channels on the TV.

Room and the house/grounds were beautiful, very quiet space, relaxed atmosphere. It was very nice for a weekend getaway in the city.
