We enjoyed our stay at the Tide and Thyme Inn. It is a small two bedroom inn in a private home. The room we stayed in had a nice balcony with a view of the neighborhood and trees. I thought with the name we would be closer to the ocean and would have an ocean view, but that was not the case. The towns around the inn are very small, with limited restaurants. However they are extremely beautiful. My only complaint is the road leading into the inn is in very poor condition to the point of almost needing AWD to make it up the road. The owners were very friendly and helpful and had many useful tips for enjoying our time in the area.
Thank you for your review and we’re glad you enjoyed your stay with us, though we are puzzled by the comment about no ocean view. As many of our visitors have mentioned in their reviews, both guest rooms have views of the ocean over the nearby trees. We take great pains to be clear that our home is not oceanfront and are sorry if you expected otherwise. As for our road, it is a bit rough in spots, but we and our neighbors are working with the county to get it repaved.

Rosemary and Peter have designed and built the perfect B&B. Our room was something out a Home Beautiful magazine and the adjoining bath was larger than my kitchen at home. Everything was clean it sparkled! They are lovely hosts and I would highly recommend a stay at their B&B.

We were looking for a quiet getaway on the Oregon Coast and we got it. The rooms overlooking the sea are perfect. So too were the hosts, Rosemary and Peter. Breakfasts were tasty and creative. We hope to return someday soon.

The Thyme and Tide is a great little B&B on the Oregon coast. My wife and I decided to stay here for our 10th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. Rosemary and Peter were great and the breakfast was good. This was our first stay at a B&B, but if other B&Bs are like this one then I think we have found a new way to celebrate special occasions...B&B style!

We loved the hospitality of Rosemary & Peter. Breakfast was delicious and varied. My wife and I stayed in the Morning Star room. Great balcony view of the coast! We loved the Tillamook ice cream that was stocked in the freezer! The heated bathroom floors were a nice treat in the mornings. Mark & Katy - TX

We spent two nights at this marvelous B&B. Our room was beautiful, very comfortable, and had a deck with a view of the ocean. The breakfasts prepared by Rosemary were delicious. Both Peter and Rosemary went out of their way to make us feel at home. They are both interesting people, and we enjoyed spending time with them over breakfast. They are very knowledgeable about the area and gave us tips on where to go and what to see. We recommend this place without qualification.
