Chehalem Ridge Bed and Breakfast
-
Chehalem Ridge B&B has a stunning view of the Willamette Valley.
White wash and sea glass evoke the many faces of the rugged Oregon Coast. The private deck has sweeping valley views toward the Coast Range with a heater for those chilly evenings. Warmth and relaxation also come from the gentle flicker of the fireplace. Situated on the main floor with a barrier free shower in the attached, private bathroom, the Oregon Coast Room is accessible to those with special needs.
Honoring Oregon’s frontier past, the Oregon Trail Room reflects the rugged, independent spirit of the people and land. The rustic log bed, updated with the finest mattress and linens, beckons with views of the night sky beyond the skylight. The jetted tub in the attached bathroom is ready to relax away the cares of the trail, or the rat race.
The Willamette Valley, taken in from the private deck, epitomizes Oregon’s wine country. A heater on the deck cuts through the chill of a fall evening as harvest begins in the valley below. Dressed in sumptuous, rich colors, the wrought iron bed invites relaxation and romance. The two person air-jetted tub/shower in the attached, private bathroom, luxuriously surrounded by travertine, is warming and stress reducing.
The Rose Garden Room pays homage to Portland, the City of Roses. With a white picket fence bed and crystal chandelier, this garden is about romance and indulgence. The claw foot tub in the attached bathroom is an invitation for relaxation. The private deck, equipped with a heater for chilly evenings, has sweeping valley views of vineyards, orchards and mountains.
The living room, with fireplace and valley view is a great gathering area for guests.
Sunset over the wineries of the Willamette Valley from the Oregon Coast Room private deck.
Our waterfall feature is a birder's delight as they watch Western Bluebirds and Goldfinches share the water with finches and Stellar's Jays.
The Rose Garden Room's clawfoot tub is a soothing break from all else.
The two-person jetted tub/shower in the Wine Country Room invite relaxation and romance.

Sunset Magazine recently proclaimed Chehalem Ridge B&B has "the most staggering views of wine country in the West. Period." Come find out for yourself! Perched on eight acres atop Chehalem Mountain overlooking the Willamette Valley and Coast Range, Chehalem Ridge Bed and Breakfast offers a peaceful retreat between adventures. Venturing down to the valley, over 45 wineries are within a 20 minute drive from the B&B. Wine tasting, balloon rides, fine dining and summer weekends at the drive-in barely touch upon the range of possibilities available in exploring the Willamette Valley in Yamhill County. The contemporary house reflects the spirit, history and character of Oregon in each of the four bedrooms, each with queen-sized beds and private bathrooms. A full, gourmet breakfast, which can accommodate specific food allergies, is included. Winner of BedandBreakfast's "Best in the West" 2009-10!

After searching through B&B options, we chose this location because of the value and amenities. I like cozy venues while my husband likes modern amenities, so this was the best of both worlds. The view from our room was amazing and the food was delicious. We will definitely return to this location.

We wanted to come to the Oregon wine country to celebrate my husband's retirement. The view from Chehalem Ridge was the first nice surprise. Sitting high above the valley, there is a spectacular view clear to the coastal mountains. Our room was beautifully detailed with nautical accents and beach glass tiles in the bath. The deck was the perfect place for our afternoon wine or to sit and watch the stars at night. Kristin is the perfect host and a marvelous cook, serving homemade jams, cheddar-walnut encrusted quiche, and tasty scones. She was a wealth of information about where to eat in the area as well as to giving guidance for winery visits. It was a wonderful visit-- one we would definitely recommend to others.
