A warm, romantic Wine Country Victorian Bed & Breakfast Inn, nestling in 10 acres, surrounded by stately cedars, with it's own vineyard and orchard. The Mattey House is ideally situated for all the local wineries, fine restaurants, antique shops, the Evergreen Aviation Museum (Spruce Goose) and for trips to the coast areas, Mt Hood or the Columbia Gorge. An ideal spot to relax, enjoy the peace and quiet, and sip on a glass of Oregon wine.

Hidden from view from the main road the Mattey House was a wonderful oasis for weary travelers from Texas. Denise and Jack were incredible hosts and made sure during our stay we were comfortable, well fed and gave us great tips for restaurants, vineyards, and shops. The breakfast every morning included local fresh fruit and scones they were delicious. They also served pancakes, or eggs. If you are lucky enough to get Jacks frittata or German pancakes and sausage.....its the best way to start out on a daily adventure. Rooms are quiet and clean and don't forget the crock full of walnuts outside the front door. Can't wait to return to the Seeds hospitality.
