Not far from the inn, guests can view towering 600+ year old trees, still growing within Opal Creek Wilderness Area (opalcreek.org). Golfers can enjoy challenging play upon 18 hole Elkhorn Golf Course only one mile away Enjoy a delicious breakfast in front of our kitchen’s wood burning fireplace, or upon outside deck and porches. Later, a variety of small town restaurants and shops are available alongside State Hwy 22, following a scenic 3 mile drive over Gates Hill Road, from Inn.

FROM PORTLAND INT'L AIRPORT, exit right on I-205, then some 27 miles to I-5 south. Take I-5 south some 47 miles to Salem and exit @ sign "Hwy 22 East, Stayton, Detroit Lakes". 25 miles east on Hwy 22 to, "Swiss Village", restaurant and flashing orange light. Left onto paved and tree canopied 'North Fork Road SE', alongside river, some 11 miles to golf course, then 1.2 miles to the inn.
FROM EASTERN OREGON, over Santiam Pass, take Hwy 22(past Detroit Lake), to Gates, Oregon,Look for Gates Hill Road, then right 3.5 miles over winding and scenic Gates Hill Road to 'North Fork Road SE'. Turn right (East)will see golf course, then 1.2 miles to Elkhorn Valley Inn Bed and Breakfast.
FROM SOUTHERN OREGON, driving north on I-5, take Hwy 22 east exit and follow above directions from Salem.

Our full breakfast is prepared, and we accommodate most diet preferences. Our Gourmet Country kitchen with fireplace, outside decks or gazebo is a perfect spot for breakfast.

Deposit, if cancellation made less than 10 days before reservation date, is subject to forfeiture. All cancellations are subject to a $15 processing fee. If cancellation is unavoidable, your deposit will be refunded in the form of our gift certificate that will expire within 6 months from date of cancellation. If you use our gift certificate as your deposit you will be refunded half the value amount of the gift certificate.
