This was my first stay at a Bed & Breakfast and the standard has now been set high! Rosie's art & decor is woven throughout the home creating an inviting, welcoming, calming effect. It has been tastefully done to touch an emotion in everyone. I can't imagine a more personable, talented Host/Hostess. When morning came, and "breakfast was served", not only was it delectable perfection, it was also a gift of memories long, long ago, when my mother or grandmother used to make me a meal. Since both have been gone for many years, this gift was priceless. I don't know if Rosie knows how much she impacts others lives, but I do know that she has touched mine deeply. Really a great place to stay for rest and relaxation but also a sensory delight. So much to see in each room with all the various quilts, artwork of various types, books, etc. and the ocean view; listening to the roar of the surf; smelling and tasting the delicious breakfast and feeling the comfort of your bed at night!

Beautiful location! Great Hostess! Awesome Food! Rosie greeted us at the door upon our arrival and was gracious as she gave us the tour of the Inn. We were the only guests that evening so we had the run of the place! Breakfast was delicious and healthy! If you are going to Lincoln City and want a great place at a great price, this is the place to be!

We had never been to a B&B before, and found that this was so much nicer than staying in an overpriced hotel. The room was sweet and cozy, the shower was very nice, Rosie (the innkeeper) was sweet and helpful, and made a fantastic breakfast. We would definitely come back and recommend it to everyone.

The inn was located in a peaceful neighbourhood overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It had a tranquil cottage feel to it and we were treated to a delightful, healthy breakfast. Splendid.

This was my first visit to Oregon and I was lucky enough to find Rosie. I spent four days and five nights, had excellent breakfasts every morning and was treated to a complimentary dinner with the extended stay. The house is comfortable and decorated beautifully. Even the cat, Cleo, treated me like I was home. As I was reclining on the couch in front of the tv, she curled up on my chest and took a nap.

My husband and I recently got married and have not had the opportunity to take an official honeymoon. He planned a weekend beach mini-moon for us to Lincoln City. We luckily found Coast Inn B&B and had the privilege to good fortune to book a night there and explore the town. We took a glass blowing session at the local Jennifer L. Sears Glass Art Studio and made beautiful glass bowls. We dined at Kyllo's and enjoyed a fun and romantic walk on the beach, which was only a block away from Coast Inn B&B. Coast Inn B&B is quaint and perfect. It is perfectly decorated with Rosie's artistic touch and exudes comfort and 'home' to travellers. In fact.. you leave there wishing it WERE your home. Lynn cooked us a delicious breakfast and we enjoyed our conversations with her and another guest there very much. The Salmon Room we stayed in was utterly cozy and more than perfect. Spotless, fully equipped for restful slumber and all your needs are met as far as toiletries go. The robes provided were warm and comfortable. We played Scrabble in our room and enjoyed the serene quiet of the house. We loved our stay and will be back again.

the art and quilts were an amazing addition to the stay. the deck overlooking the ocean view was wonderful to sit out on and enjoy. had a wonderful time. great experience with out a lot of fuss. would recommend to others.

We visited in December 2011 for my wife's birthday weekend. The Great Room was indeed Great, not only the expansive views including some ocean, but the art and the relaxing ambiance of just being there. Breakfasts were delicious and innovatively prepared. Rosie was happy to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions. The room was very comfortable and large for a 1-bedroom, with the same great view as the great room. Rosie toured us through the whole house and all of the rooms were uniquely decorated, giving them individual appeal. Her fused glass and quilts were incorporated into her interior design beautifully. Quiet location in Lincoln City, close to ocean & downtown. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

What's not to like, except the limited amount of time I got to spend there? The quaint rooms were not only clean but uniquely decorated and cheery-just like the rest of the house. Absolutely beautiful view of the ocean in the morning. Devine breakfasts every morning and Rose couldn't be a better hostess. A few minutes walk from the ocean front, games and books to look at, a cozy fireplace to cuddle up in front of and a big screen TV to watch a romantic movie. Talk about a no stress, relaxing getaway- just what the doctor ordered. :)

Best B and B we've ever stayed in and we've stayed in quite a few coast to coast. View and closeness of the Pacific wonderful. It was an artistic wonderland - innkeeper is a quilter and fused glass artist. and rooms were filled with her art and very colorful. Innkeeper has a heart of gold and was so good to us. We hated to leave.

The Coastal Inn B&B provided exceptional service and was very relaxing. The common room with a family room atmosphere (with a view to the Pacific Ocean in the distance) was quite pleasant and relaxing. The Coastal Inn is within easy access to the ocean beaches, allowing casual access while other members of your party either sleep in or engage in other activities. The family room provides separation space and allows for independent activities. We played scrabble (Coastal Inn provided), but there are other games and even a guitar and piano for the guests to use. This was a very relaxing time for us and Rosie was a joy to visit with. Her krafts are outstanding and the decor of the B&B reflected Rosie's eye for fine decorations.

Very nice B&B. Inn Keeper was very nice. She and my wife are both artists so had a lot to talk about. Wonderful Breakfasts with a lot of imagination. We didn't have an ocean view from our room but spent a lot of time in the wonderful great room over looking the ocean Very Comfortable inn.

Meals were excellent, especially the lemon ricotta pancakes. Neighbourhood was nice and quiet, bed was very comfortable, great sheets.

Colorful artwork throughout the home, wonderful lounge in sit in with oceanview, great breakfast, clean rooms, Rosie was fun to talk with, etc. etc. etc. Would stay there again - so much better than a hotel chain with its predictible decor.

Great spot for a quiet weekend away. Clean and modern room, comfortable bed, and great added touches (complimentary water and juice, a fridge and microwave in the room, robes, great community spaces). The only thing that would have improved my stay was an ocean view from my room. Despite that being absent, I'll be coming back. Rosie is a great hostess.

Our weekend at the Coast Inn Bed and Breakfast was very enjoyable. We enjoyed reading in the sun room with a view of the ocean. The bed and sheets were very comfy. Breakfast was a culinary delight. We felt very welcomed and still had the privacy we needed.

Brought a guest and accomodations were very private for all. The hospitality continues and this part of the coast is always great. Try it, you will like it!

The Coast Inn was VERY nice. It turned out we were the only visitors for all but one night of our stay and although Rosie was away and enjoying family, she left Lin in charge who was absolutely loveable! The rooms were impeccably clean, uniquely decorated and comfortable. The whole house was lovely and the breakfasts were awesome!

My wife arrange this birthday getaway and this was my first time in a B&B. What a lovely place to stay. Rosie takes good care of you. The house is close to the water and you can see a sunset from the back porch. The breakfasts were wonderful! I highly recommend this B&B if you are looking for a place to stay in Lincoln City.

We were looking for a relaxing place to stay to celebrate our anniversary where we felt pampered and still had lots of privacy and we definitely found it at Coast Inn. Not right on the beach but only a short walk away and the Wildflower room was comfortable and plush. I wanted to bring that bed home with me! We would definitely return here.

My husband and I had a great time at the Coast Inn Bed and Breakfast. The room was clean and welcoming and the hospitality even better! The breakfast we had in the morning was to die for - a gourmet breakfast. We even were able to have it privately in our bedroom on the table that looked out over the trees to the ocean. Overall, a fantastic experience!

My wife and I stayed with Rosie for one night during our recent trip along the Oregon Coast and it was the most comfortable B&B of all the ones we stayed in. The inn is tastefully decorated and has a great ocean view, with public beach access only a five-minute walk away. We spent a couple of nights at the Coast Inn B&B while on our honeymoon. Rosie had fresh flowers and champagne waiting in our room, she had also made arrangements for massages. Breakfast and dinner meals prepared by Rosie rivaled the finest restaurants in quantity, quality and presentation. Service was friendly and Rosie did a great job of making us feel at home while still respecting our privacy. The ocean views were outstanding and the sound of the surf created a relaxing atmosphere. We can't wait to go back!

This was my favorite B & B on our two week L.A. to Seattle road trip. Rosie is a great host and the rooms are very well appointed, with attention to detail.

We had a nice stay for the weekend. Rosie was a wonderful hostess - genuinely nice, considerate and normal. The sheets were Pottery Barn sheets and felt crisp and clean. Rosie even cooked us a Vegan breakfast! My wife and I like to stay in bed and breakfasts because they feel warm, friendly and comfortable - this one was just that.

The Coast Inn Bed & Breakfast is a wonderful get away where you can relax and enjoy a stroll on the beach and a delicous breakfast prepared by innkeeper, Rosie, who is a wealth of knowledge and a joy to get to know. We've been several times and have even given gift certificates to other family members so they can enjoy this amazing Inn as well. Love it!!!

Rosie is very accomodating and lets you make yourself comfortable in the whole house. The view from the deck is marvelous. I don't love going down the hall to use the bathroom, but other than that, everything was nice.

Rosie is a terrific host and very interesting to talk with. We really enjoyed our stay.

My finance and I wanted to get away for the weekend to celebrate our engagement, the weather wasn't the best but the bed and breakfast was outstanding. The people were helpful, the food was good and the place was well kept. The walk to the beach while farther than we wanted was more than do able and the view not only from our room but from the whole house was incredible. We will definitely be going back soon to get away again, if you're thinking of going to a bed and breakfast this is the one to stop at!

I'm almost hesitant to give this place such a great review because I don't want it to be full the next time I want to go. The Innkeeper is great, and the house has such a wonderful personality.

My Daughter and I try to get away at least once a year for a girls weekend. A coworker sugested the Coast Inn B&B. The location was perfect for all of the activities that we had planned. To say we enjoyed our stay is an under statement, the house was lovely, the food outstanding and the inn keeper delightful. We had a great time learning to make fused glass coasters. We were ready to stay forever. I've been so excited, I'm telling everyone I know.

Every detail of our stay exceeded expectations. Innkeeper, Rosie Huntemann, went out of her way to make our visit, which was a birthday treat for my husband, extra special. The ocean view was spectacular and we were fortunate to witness a gloriously colorful sunset. Hearing the roar of the surf during the night was balm to our souls. The food? Well, let me tell you it was fabulous from our first view of a lovely table setting to every aspect of the meal which included muffins, scrambled eggs with Feta and fresh basil, and perfectly ripended fruits (mango, oranges, and strawberries). Of course there was a delightful assortment of juices, tea, and coffee.

Our recent stay at the Coast inn was wonderful. Our delightful hostess Rosie is an amazing cook, artist, and interesting person. Our room was beautiful and comfortable with a lovely ocean view. We loved it!

We had the Inn to ourselves which was fun! Very welcoming place. Loved the fancy Scrabble board.

I told my husband I wanted to walk on the beach on my birthday. He chose Coast Inn because Rosie is from Alaska and her place sounded perfect. We were not disappointed. Top notch hostess, great food and fun, unique decor. Find a float on the beach...yes you can! I did on my birthday morning beach stroll! A great trip. Rosie is so creative and inspiring.

We recently enjoyed a two night visit with our beagle Barney. Rosie is a wonderful hostess who made us and our pooch feel very welcome. She has a gourmet flare and an artist's touch. The accommodations include a beautiful ocean view from her deck and an easy walk to the beach. We would highly recommend Rosie’s B&B!

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. The house is lovely and everything reflects Rosie's artistic talent from the quilts on beds and walls to the fused glass in the dining area. Although the view of the ocean is a bit restricted by homes down below, it was still wonderful to glimpse the surf. The day we arrived was sunny and we enjoyed sitting on the deck just soaking it in. We chose the Wildflower Suite because of the option of eating breakfast in our room while gazing out the picture window at the sea....perfect for celebrating our first anniversary. The food was more than yummy and we would love to return there. It was a very special experience made more so by Rosie's cooking and friendliness.

I spent time at The Coast Inn a few years ago and fell in love with Rosie and the place itself. This time I returned with friends and was very proud to show it off and brag about my previous experience here. My guests were not disappointed. I feel as though I've left a part of myself behind that will always remain within these walls.

First experience to stay at a B&B so was a bit skeptical. We have stayed at many 5 star resorts and this was in it's own unique way every bit as top notch. Hospitality was excellent. It was a very comfy room (and home). The bed was great with very nice linens. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious. I cannot compliment Rosie enough on the many ways she will make your stay so delightful...definitely much more than a clean room.

My wife and I had our wedding on Sat, Sep 4th and came and stayed at the Coast Inn B&B Sun, Sep 5th - Thu, Sep 8th. We had the 'Romantic Rendezvous Package' (ask Rosie about this one, it's worth it!). We've never stayed at a B&B before, but we were convinced within the first 15 minutes of being here that we love this place! The Innkeeper, Rosie Huntemann, runs a quaint and charming place. She herself is multi-talented as a quilter and glass maker (not to mention, a great cook!), and it shows throughout the entire place, in which much of her work ornates the walls and furniture, along with all of the other eclectic decor. The location is great, with views overlooking the Pacific, which makes for great views of sunsets while enjoying any number of instruments, games, and other things which one can while lounging in the cozy home-styled living and dining room areas. And if one feels so inclined, beach access is right around the corner. In just a few leisurely minutes, you can make your way down to the soft sands of one of Oregon's more pleasant coast-lines. Bottom line: We'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing experience at an Oregon B&B. "A+, with two thumbs up". -JR+JR-

Rosie was a wonderful hostess. The room was lovely and views from the deck were beautiful. Beach access was good, although not beachfront property. It was a nice escape.

Rosie is a very talented artist and cook who enjoys having guests stay at her home and makes them feel welcomed.

Rosie has truly mastered the art of the B&B! She has created such a lovely place with all the finishing touches. Everything was tastefully presented from the decor to the breakfast table. Her art quilts are truly wonderful and inspiring. The wildflower room is much more attractive with soothing sage walls and deep color accents than the old photo still online. Very roomy and comfortable - we had a nice view of the water from our room and could hear the waves crashing below. The public beach access is a relatively easy walk around the corner and down the stairs (77 in total). The art glass workshop making coasters was a highlight and fun for show & tell later.

This inn is "beyond words." Yes, the food is superb; the beds are seductive; the decor is that of an artist. But, this B&B offers more: it is warm, the ultimate in relaxation. My friend and I were driving on the Oregon coast and had not made advance reservations. It was off-season and mid-week, so we figured we'd take our chances. We found this B&B on-line and hoped for the best. What we got was an amazing gem of a home in all respects. Every room was more beautiful and charming than the next. The inn-keeper, Rosie, is an incredibly talented artist who works in glass and fabrics, and her artistic eye is evident throughout the home. She's also an accomplished cook, so our breakfasts were yummy -- homemade muffins, spinach & cheese strada, bacon -- better than most upscale restaurants serve. We extended our stay and wished we never had to leave. I will definitely return!

The Coast Inn B&B is what I expect the perfect home to be -- attractive, clean and comfortable with delicious breakfasts. From the attention to detail given to breakfasts with seasonal local ingredients and hand dyed table linens to the fused glass class we took, we enjoyed every moment at Rosie's inn. If you're going to the Oregon Coast, Coast Inn B&B is the place to stay. Rosie, the gracious innkeeper, is an excellent cook! You won't find any better breakfast. The rooms are each decorated around an art theme. The house is full of wonderful art work. And it's only a block from the beach - great for walks and taking in the ocean air. You won't be disappointed.
