This is a charming bed and breakfast in a quiet quaint touristy town. Everything was as expected and quite nice except for the outdoor noise - lots of traffic noise even with windows shut in our room. They supply ear plugs.Probably quieter if you stay in a room that doesn't face the main road. Breakfast was self serve and had lots of options. The yard was beautiful. Nice owners.

We had not been back to Jacksonville for over 20 years and decided to take in a Britt Festival performance. We selected the Magnolia Inn after an internet search. We were extremely pleased with our stay and will definitely return in the next few months. Robert (proprietor) met us when we checked in and throughout our stay offered great recommendations on things to do and told us about the history of Jacksonville. He is going to portray a historical character in an upcoming event in Jacksonville. There was so much more to do in Jacksonville than we thought so we must, and will return. One evening we had another couple over to have an evening picnic on the upper veranda and it was just delightful. This is a wonderful B&B. Lovely and the proprietors care about their guests.

We attended two plays at OSH and stayed in Jacksonville. We had visited Jacksonville several times, but never considered staying there. It was great. We will be back.

Robert and Susan were wonderful host. We chatted with Robert a number of times. Very friendly. The Olivia room was well appointed. I needed a first floor room and this was perfect for us. My husband brought down every morning from the upstairs breakfast room , fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, muffins, and the best coffee. Would definitely recommend this Inn.
