    The Oval Door is an early twentieth century-style farmhouse, located in the heart of downtown Eugene. Easy walking distance to many fine restaurants, Hult center, downtown shops, and only 12 blocks to the University of Oregon. Each room has a private bathroom, TV, ceiling fan, individually controlled heat and air conditioning. Guests may enjoy a good book in the library, or by the fireplace in the living area. The wrap around porch with swing is a great place to hang out in the summer time. Wine, beer, soda, tea and cocoa are complimentary, along with our famous cookies. Fantastic gourmet breakfast is served at guest's convenience by chef/owners. Dietary needs are happily accommodated.

    The Innkeepers, Nicole and Melissa, are both chefs and take a great deal of interest in food. Nicole likes to read and spend time with her family and pets. Melissa likes canoeing and kayaking. Both innkeepers enjoy the outdoors and the beauty of Oregon. Hiking, biking, and walking are regular weekend activities.

    I have stayed at The Oval Door numerous times over the past 6+ years. It is always a place that enables me to look forward to business trips to Eugene. I can be very productive and very cozy simultaneously....and that cannot be said for many places. The location is within walking distance of the downtown core yet it is very quiet. The owners are very helpful but not intrusive. The food is delicious and I always want to stay longer than I can.

    We stayed in the Morning Glory Room, it was beautiful. The service was nothing short of amazing! And can I say one of the best breakfasts ever! And I am dairy free and I let them know ahead of time and was well taken care of. I will be recommending this B&B to all of my friends and will definitely stay there again. W~

    We had a quiet & peaceful stay and enjoyed being able to walk to all the great shopping areas. The bed was so comfortable and the room & private bathroom...spotless! Fresh cookies & beverages available near our door each day. We will definitely return and can happily spread the word about...The Oval Door!
