Wine Country Farm B&B

My daughter and I and a friend had a wonderful stay at the Wine Country Farm. The staff and owners were amazing. They were on hand for every need. We felt like we had known them forever. They recommended excellent restaurants for us and made the reservations, prepared delicious breakfasts.....We took a carriage ride to several different vineyards....enjoyed the farm dogs. The location was as beautiful as any place could be. We felt we were in a vineyard in Italy or France. The rooms were comfortable and lovely, the other guests pleasant and enjoyable. Didn't want to leave and we would definitely go back!

My wife and I planned a one night getaway from Portland and chose the Wine Country B&B as our destination. The location of the farm was fantastic, although it was a bit rainy an overcast, we still greatly enjoyed our views overlooking the vineyards. More importantly, the best part of our experience was just interacting with the owners. The personal family like attention created an environment where we felt at home and makes us want to return. The breakfast was plentiful and really tasty. Would highly recommend this as a destination B&B.

We are so happy you chose us for your getaway. Although there are no leaves in the vineyard, there is still a beautiful view with all of the rows and wires. It is great that you felt at home with us. We have enjoyed staying at the Wine Country Farm B & B for many years now. The choice of rooms are wonderful and every one of them has a spectacular view of the Red Hills of Dundee and the beautiful vineyards. The owner has always been so gracious and truly loves her beautiful B & B and its location. Joan also grows her own grapes and makes wine every fall. Such a wonderful way to spend a beautiful fall weekend or weekdays.

Everything about Wine Country Farm B&B was wonderful ! The views were spectacular. Very friendly. Outstanding breakfast.

We attended a wedding at WCF and then stayed in the B&B for the night. While the place is clean, it could use some updating. The bathroom in our room was quite small. Comfortable, large bed. The views were spectacular! Breakfast was amazing! Sherry was very warm. The vineyards were tranquil. Impossible to not be relaxed. We would stay there again!

Our room (The Sunset Room) was beautiful, exceptionally comfortable and everything a first class B&B should be. The hospitality was wonderful and we will be back again and again!!

Breakfasts were delicious! Bathroom window had no privacy to outside of building. Hairdryer did not work; was fixed, but still annoying. Left an item in the room, but was not contacted.

For the complete wine country experience, this is the place to stay! We have come here twice now and it is always a pleasant, relaxing place to finish the day off after touring the vineyards. Sherry the hostess, is so nice and makes every attempt to make the stay comfortable. We highly recommend Wine Country Farm to anyone visiting the Yamhill Valley area.

This is a lovely B&B in a great location. It is so serene and tranquil. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is worth a visit!

I have been to many many B&B establishments, but never had the experience of horse back riding through vineyards before. What a great partnering of relaxation and for a mid west city girl a taste of the wild west. The rooms here are unbelievable spacious and immaculately clean. The only slight weakness were the breakfasts. Although plentiful and hearty - unique recipes were not used, nor a 100% homemade. Biscuits were from a Pillsbury can one morning and scrambled eggs that were a bit runny. Hmmm, I can do that at home :( The dining in the local area is a culinary treasure. Don't let breakfast stop you - GO!

I wish we could have stayed longer! The views were spectacular, nearby to so many other wineries. Quite the value especially when you factor in the wine tastings and delicious breakfast. Stacy in particular was very knowledgeable and friendly, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend.

The Wine Country Farm B&B was an ideal place to "live" for the three days we explored the north Willamette Valley wineries. Truly like staying in a friend's home. Very comfortable, delicious breakfasts, beautiful grounds and surrounding vineyards to walk around. Would definitely stay here again!

Booked the room over the web after finding a link from the IPNC site. Wonderful location for the winery visits we were planning on making. Delightful room with a view and private deck. Really liked it. Would come back again and recommend to friends.

Wine Country B&B is an incredibly welcoming establishment. Seated on a hilltop within the Dundee Hills, the B&B is surrounded by rolling vineyards. The breakfast is superb among B&B breakfasts. We particularly enjoyed our walk within the surrounding vines guided by the resident dogs.

My wife and I stayed for three nights. We really enjoyed the hospitality we received from Joan and Grace. The Sunset suite had a great view of the vineyard and was very comfortable. My only suggestion would be for the suite to have a couple bottles of wine (to purchase) and wine glasses. We came back to the suite after the winery had closed and I had to drive into town and purchase wine from the grocery store in order to have a glass or two while relaxing and enjoying the great surroundings.

Enjoyed the B&B: views are unbeatable and the place is PEACEFUL. No rowdy guests or children on site. The bed was comfy and the room fireplace was so nice on that chilly evening. We had marvelous weather and the location of the B&B allows for walking to about seven or so neighbouring vineyards. The staff is delightful and the morning breakfast delicious. Highly recommend.

Joan Davenport is the consummate host. The view is breathtaking. Breakfast will keep you going until dinner - it is hearty! Her wine is very reasonably priced. I cannot wait to go back!

We enjoyed our stay in the Oregon Room with its deck overlooking the vineyards. Great location for walking. Fed carrots to the horses and took the friendly dog for a walk. Delicious breakfast and friendly people.

I was looking for a B&B that would have two twin beds for me and my friend. This was the only one I could find in the area. So bonus there! Then it was a plus that they had a boutique winery on the property. The service was great! The manager gave us a list of places to go to for appetizers, drinks and dinner. She planned out evening! And she also had fresh cookies ready for us when we arrived, I liked that! My firend and I have already booked anouther weekend and we will be sharing it with our husbands this time. I am very excited to go back.

We had an excellent experience at the Wine Country B&B. The rooms, views and hosts were all excellent. Many wonderful restaurants and wineries around, but best of all was the equestrian wine tour. Can't wait for another stay.

We have been visiting the Wine Country Farm since 1994. It is comfortable, friendly, and well located with a view to die for. The food is superb,the guests are friendly, and Joan Davenport export is a knowledgeable owner manager. We have also been to her place in Mexico and love it as well.

What a relaxing way to spend a weekend! We were only here for one night and then on to wine tasting in the Awesome Oregon wine country. The food here was great and the views are the best in the Northwest! Great place to unwind - not a sound could be heard at night - ahhh...peaceful.

I had friends here from Florida (Flat Country) They had never been wine tasting. We drove to 4 different wineries and had the best time. Then we ended up at Wine Country Farms. They could not believe how beautiful it was "What view". It was a great weekend

Driving up toward WCF you are immediately impressed with the rolling hills, uniform rows of plantings and pow -- there sits WCF atop the hill. The rooms are beautifully decorated - our wedding family took up all the rooms. Breakfast is to die for -- especially the fresh, on-grounds grown berries (served with cream). Crisp bacon, eggs, waffles, french toast were just some of the mouth-watering items that were served. The staff is friendly and very informative about their vineyard and surrounding area. Great restaurants in Dundee for lunch and dinner is just a few miles away. Definitely recommend the B&B, the area and the wine tastings available and plan on returning next year.

Joan Davenport was very knowledgeable in numerous areas. Gave great advice on day trips from the area. The best advice we received all week. The breakfast was heavenly, the afternoon cookies were to die for and the wine was good too! Wyatt, the young man that gave the winery trail ride was pretty great to look at too!!

The view from B&B was amazing! The room was little dark but cozy and very relaxing. We found the wine was very nice too compare to other wineries and bought some wines. Joan, innkeeper was nice and helpful. Will be back when we have a chance to go to Dundee again.

This was a beautiful place to visit. We spent the morning before breakfast taking pictures of all of the breath taking views. Our room, The Oregon, was beautiful. We really enjoyed the patio. The breakfasts were good, and we enjoyed visiting with all of the other guests.

Just beautiful and peaceful! Great wineries nearby and so close to Portland. Joan was a wonderful hostess and the Oregon room was spacious and felt like we re on our honeymoon.

One of the most beautiful countrysides, and a grand view from the B&B. Lovely grounds, and we were very pleased with the rates. It will have us coming back for sure.

From the views to the food to the arrangements for the horse and buggy ride everything was perfect.

My friend and I went to Wine Country B&B for a girl's getaway weekend. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful in every way. We were not aware that they didn't serve dinner, and Jessica went out of her way to make us a fabulous plate of cheese, crackers, dried fruit and brownies! Then, we toured the wineries on horseback through Equestrian Wine Tours which was amazing! Jake was a wonderful companion and provided beautiful horses for our journey. The breakfast the next morning was probably the best breakfast I've ever had. The food was all fresh and homemade. I already look forward to going back again later this year and definitely recommend Wine Country Farm B&B

We just got home from our fabulous weekend. We went horseback riding while we stayed and that was amazing, too. It was our anniversary and it could not have been better. The breakfasts had good food and there was plenty to fill you up. The weather was perfect, which can be hit or miss. Joan, the owner,and Jessica, the manager, we very nice and always there to answer questions. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We did not get creamer in our building, but I am sure they would have provided it if we had asked. Overall we were really happy with our experience and will be back.

Loved all aspects of this wonderful experience. The view is wonderful, the hostess is and was wonderful, the food was beyond wonderful, and the overall exp and suggestions on dining was more than could have expected. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for future visits, and hope to visit again.

I spent a weekend away at Wine Country Farm Bed and Breakfast, and I slept better than I have in over a month. The views were gorgeous. The breakfast was gourmet. The service was sweet and unassuming. It was relaxing, and lovely all rolled into one.

Our 2nd floor room looked out over the entire valley, ringed with hills. Sunset and sunrise were equally awe-inspiring. The innkeeper treated her guests to a private wine tasting; she shared her wide knowledge of vinicuture. An early-morning view from the hot tub was delicious, as was the breakfast.

The location in Willamette Valey is perfect for visiting vineyards...in the middle of it all. The views from our room were fantastic. The friendlyness and accomodation of the staff was above and beyond. We could not have asked for a more pleasant experience.

Joan could not have been more helpful in finding us places to go -- trip advice -- brk was outstanding -- setting is perfect could swear we were in Tuscany -- would always go here if in area -- my wife horseback ride tru vineyards was great --

A great stay away from the crowds. Walks in the vineyards with the dogs, chats with Joan and an interesting mix of visitors always. Can't wait to get back!

We spent two nights here. The grounds and surrounding area are very lovely. We enjoyed a long walk through the vineyards, which was the most enjoyable part of our trip. Beautiful, tranquil, peaceful! The rooms are nice but not extraordinary (ours was $225/night). We had a balcony, and we sat outside in the morning looking over the vineyard and valley, and watched the stars at night. The bed was comfortable with nice bedding; the bathroom was clean with thick towels. This entire building had a strange smell that we didn't notice in the other building -- it could stand to be opened up and aired out. There were a few VHS movies in the room and access to more in the other building, but no games, books, etc. The B&B is in two buildings, and we were in the second one. In the main building cookies are available any time, but nothing in our building and no other treats anywhere. Coffee was available in our building in the morning but only with powdered creamer (yuck!!). Other B&Bs we've stayed in had muffins or breads to tide one over but they didn't offer that, and breakfast wasn't served until 9. Breakfast was very good, and they served the biggest blackberries I've ever seen! We used the indoor hot tub. The temperature was perfect, and it was clean without feeling as if we were sitting in a pool of chemicals. There were several oil candles but no matches or lighters anywhere to be found, and the lighting in the room was very bright. It would have been nice to have a more romantic environment, even if that was accomplished with a dimmer on the light switch. I certainly can understand the fire hazard! The people we met at breakfast were very friendly, with conversations taking place between tables, too. The location is great if you're interested in wine tasting. I would recommend this place, but I'd probably recommend getting one of the less expensive rooms unless you are going for an extended stay or plan to spend a lot of time in your room.

It is the best place to stay to fully immerse into the wine county. It does not get better if you are looking rooms with a view to the vineyards. The owner and employees were very friendly and helpful, they helped us find a very nice place for our anniversary dinner. We stayed two nights, and both mornings the breakfasts (country style) were very tasty. I also enjoyed the unexpected dog-guarding services (at no extra charge): the house dogs accompanied me when I went running around the vineyards! The place is in Dundee hills, an area with a great concentration of wineries so wine tasting is literally a short walk away.

Joan was super accommodating, loved that we could roam the entire property. She takes great care of everything - beautiful vineyard and amazing wines!

I highly recommend the horse ride through the vineyards to do the wine tasting. Very gentle horses. The views from the B&B were gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely go back for a visit.

This b and b simply can't be topped. A charming older home on an unbelievable property overlooking wine country and nearby to a gazillion tasting rooms! Owner is totally professional. Breakfasts are five star.

Great suite with a perfect view of the vineyards. It's just how you envision a stay in the wine country. Good breakfast and unobtrusive service.

Stayed here 4/24/10. Beautiful setting, about 2 miles off 99W overlooking vineyards and the countryside. Host was very gracious. Our room, the Sunset suite, was wonderful. Super soft sheets and comfortable king bed, TV, fireplace, and a breath taking balcony view of the Willamette Valley. Complimentary wine tasting with glass of wine in the evening, plus they had fresh baked cookies. Breakfast the next day was top notch. Juice, coffee, fresh fruit with cream, freshly baked biscuits with homemade raspberry jam, bacon, sausage, hash browns (with sour cream baked in) and an egg and cream cheese frittata. I highly recommend this B&B!

Our stay at the Wine Country Farm B & B was relaxing and a reenergizing experience. The host was most helpful, interesting, and gracious. The beauty from atop the hill is outstanding and something to be experienced. Thanks to Joan for a wonderful two days.

The first night we arrived late but that didn't keep Joan from opening up the tasting room which was a thrill after a long flight from Texas. Waking up to the view out our window was like being in fairy tale, it was breathtaking. And the peek moment was the horse riding adventure through the vineyards - a never before experience I can't describe. Not to mention the fabulous personality & stories of our horse guide. All in all this is one of those "got to" experiences that you will cherish forever. We talk of it often, encourage our friends to go & promise ourselves that we will go back again.

We had an awesome time, the rooms were nice and the food was good. The best thing about the Wine Country Farm is the location, perfect for wine tasting, you can even walk to some of the best wineries in OR. They do not take B&B.com gift cards, so beware.

We stayed at the B&B with friends. We loved the views from the Sunset Suite, overlooking the vineyards. Everyone was very friendly, including the puppy & the kitten. We had a good time & will go back, though we only live 1 hour away.

We stayed at the Summit Suite House for 5 days, and WHAT A BEAUTIFUL home and setting!! It was beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was very well equipped for all our cooking needs! We have never stayed in a place that we felt so at home!! Can't wait to return!! Joan Davenport was so nice to make sure that all of our needs were met prior to coming and after arrival!! We had planned to spend three days in a vineyard and visit as many wineries as possible. Mission accomplished! The Sunset suite at Wine Country Farm was everything that we had hoped for. The terrasse overlooking the vineyard was our favorite place. The room was spacious and the bed very confortable. Finally, we had three lovely breakfasts. Excellent waffles the first morning followed by creamy scrambled eggs the next and finally, stuffed french toasts the last morning. The service was friendly and courteous. We would not hesitate to go back to the Wine Country Farm on our next visit.

We visited the Wine Country Farm B&B in late September. The weather was perfect. The views were gorgeous! We took a horseback ride through the vineyards, which was really enjoyable. It was great to find a place which was a B&B, a vineyard/winery (with it's own tasting room) and with access to horseback or carriage rides, massage, etc. all in one. They really have a wonderful variety of amenities which made for the perfect romantic getaway. The hostesses, grounds, vistas, everything was very pleasant. We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it.

The views from The Wine Country Farm B&B are absolutely beautiful and reason enough to go there instead of another B&B. In addition, the inn keeper is wonderful, the house is beautiful and breakfast is great. We had a wonderful time!

stayed once before, and brought friends. We flew up from ca. in our antique airplanes, Love the breakfasts, quiet and beauty... Did not know that horseriding included wine tour... will do thta next time!!!

Wonderful B&B surrounded by vineyards. Great breakfast, lovely hosts, horses nearby to ride and to feed carrots to. If you love pinot noir, this is the place to stay-- in the centre of the best. Carlton is fabulous little town nearby and we had a great meal at teh Joel Palmer house in nearby Dayton. A great place.

We had a wonderful 2 days at the Wine Country Farm B&B. The breakfasts were fantastic - lots of fresh berries and the best soada bread I've ever had. The owner was very knowledgeable about the area and a great hostess. Getting to feed the Arabian horses carrots was an added bonus!

Enjoyed our respite here from a hectic week of getting a house ready for sale. We especially enjoyed our massages which we had. In the past, we were unaware of this benny of staying here. Hope to do the horse ride next time when it is not 102 degrees!

Although the location cannot be beat, the experience was not all we were expecting. We were never properly introduced to the host or hostess but communicated the entire time through their daughter-in-law (who thankfully was very lovely and very capable). Even after I had to get up out of bed to ask them to quiet their dog that had been barking for almost two hours – staring at 6:30 AM – I never received a direct apology from the host or hostess of the house. Also, the walls between the rooms are the original to the house, therefore not sound insulated, increasing the chances of hearing the people in the surrounding rooms.

Couldn't ask for a better location. Very comfortable and very close to all the great wineries of the Willamette Valley. I highly recommend the guided horseback wine tasting tour. Stay 2 days if you can!

My husband cannot stop thanking me over and over again for this great anniversary I gave him. The wineries, the views, and this beautiful B&B were definately something different for us and a weekend we will always remember.

The views were spectacular, we were virtually right in the vineyards and the weather was outstanding. It was great to be able to walk to wine tastings from the Farm. We would return for sure.

I found Wine Country Farm B&B online. It exceeded my expectations. The location is picture perfect and the grounds are beautiful. I stayed in the Sunset Suite which was very spacious and had a wonderful view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was there to celebrate my 30th birthday. The owner, Joan, helped make arrangements for my entire family to stay, gave me recommendations for a good restaurant and made my reservation to go on a wine tour on horseback that left from the B&B. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday location. Not to mention how good the breakfast was! I highly recommend this B&B.

I loved the owner and everyone who worked there! We had a 30th b-day party and lots of guests! They took care of all of us and did a really nice job! I have never stayed at a B&B and it was very nice to be tucked into the vineyards! Great wine, great rooms, glorious views, and I recommend the horseback riding thru the vines! Do that the first day so you are not hungover!!!

Joan was very friendly as was her grandson Skyler. We loved Jake who brought his Tennessee Walkers, for the "horse-back wine tasting". The hot tub came in handy! My daughter had a great birthday. The breakfast was delicious, the scenery unbelivable. (We don't have to travel to Italy now!!) Next time I will get the "big" room with views and fireplace!! Thanks Joan

Annual girl's nite out. We enjoyed the Wine Country Farms B&B ... the views were spectacular & we really enjoyed our own TV / DVD player in the room. Breakfast was "grand" !!

I stayed two nights as a get-away. The room was comfortable and quiet and the breakfasts can't be beat.

My best friend and I were blown away! The inn was so clean and so welcoming! The room was perfect and the most comfortable bed! The breakfast was a feast! I've never had better! Hands down, the best weekend of my life! We felt like queens!

I was thinking of what to do for my wife's 40th birthday, which is also Valentines Day. We have gone to the mountains and the coast before. My wife at one time stated that she had never experienced a bed&breakfast, so I thought this was a great opportunity to make this B&B our get away for this special occasion. Joan does an excellent job of making her B&B feel like your home in the country. The atmosphere is top drawer, the breakfasts are to-die-for, and their wines are fantastic.

We had a delightful stay with Joan and her staff in September 2006. This is a true working farm with horses, dogs, cats and a thriving vinyard. The grapes grow at your back door. Our room was lovely and the breakfast outstanding! We would love to visit again.
