| Innkeeper Response |
Hello August Guest,
First, if we did not apologize for the room change, we certainly would like to do so now. Although the rooms are mirror images of each other, we understand you were disappointed. Because of this, we would like to offer you a complimentary stay here at the Thompson House.
To further explain, the Magnolia and Lilac rooms are very similar -- they are basically the same size, and each has its own private, marble tile-bath. Both have a table/and or desk, dresser and chairs for relaxation. Both have a skylight and the exact same windows and placement of windows. The primary difference is the decor, specifically the bedding ensemble. The Magnolia Room has a comforter with the design of the same flower. The Lilac Room, where you stayed, has the newest bedding ensemble -- a plush burgandy and gold comforter with coordinating pillows.
Again, we are sorry for the change and extend our offer for a complimentary stay at our B & B.
