Excellent house, rooms, bathrooms, food & friendliness. A definite place we will return to. We love the gardens, too!

The house is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was very comfortable, with good space for hanging up clothes and putting away luggage. The bedding was beautiful and very high quality. There were lamps on each side of the bed bright enough for reading by. The en suite bathroom is lovely with a clawfoot tub and a pedestal sink, but still very functional as there are racks by the tub to put things in and a dresser with a mirror. The towels are high quality, and there is even air freshener in the bathroom cabinet. A variety of nice toiletries are available. There is tissue in the bedroom AND the bathroom, and extra toilet paper. It was unseasonably hot when we were there (June 2008 for a nearby family wedding), and the air conditioning was on and worked well. The vents to each room can be controlled by guests. There were a variety of snacks available for guests to help themselves: granola bars and Rice Krispie squares, candy bars, good chocolate cookies (home-made?) , and popcorn for the microwave. The fridge always had soft drinks and water. There was also a variety of teas, instant cappucino, fresh coffee outside our door in the mornings before breakfast, a pot and coffee available for guests to use at any time. Innkeeper Terri Roberts is a wonderful cook and her breakfasts were outstanding, among the best we've ever had in a bed and breakfast. There was a big variety each morning and more food than we could eat. I can't think of anything that Terri has missed in planning for the comfort of her guests. We highly recommend the Anna Becke House!

We spent 15 days at this charming B&B. It was a family affair and we couldn't been happier in our 3 rooms.
