My husband and I loved staying at Rose River Inn! The hosts, Pam and Dave, were very hospitable. They recommended several places to eat and visit in Astoria. Each morning, Pam made us strong coffee and a complete breakfast--fruit and yogurt, an egg dish, a little sweet cake. We stayed in the Othello. Our room was nice, while also being cozy and comfortable--especially with the electric fireplace! The claw foot tub is big enough to have relaxing bubble baths in too. We also enjoyed their library of over 600 DVDs. They have quite the range of genres to choose from. It is also in a great location! Rose River Inn is close enough to the river and all the downtown shops that my husband and I just walked every where. We have recommended this B & B to several friends and family members, and we plan to make reservations for our next anniversary!

We chose this b&b because of all the positive ratings and we were definitely not disappointed. Pam and David are very friendly and cook really good food. The location is so close to the down town area that there is a lot to do within walking distance. We stayed in the River suite. It was worth the extra to have the enclosed sun porch. It makes it tempting to not leave the room. If you choose to stay here, make sure that you walk the two blocks down to Fort George for some delicious food and beer.

Rose River Inn was perfectly located. Parked the car and walked everywhere. Beautiful view and kind owners. Calm and peaceful and great movie selection!

This was our first B&B experience and we loved it. It was like staying at our favorite aunt's house! The location was also great - it's within a few block from the downtown area with lots to do.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Rose River Inn. I particularly like the suite I chose because it is cozy, private and makes staying in Astoria extra meaningful. I have visited Astoria routinely for 15 years and return to the Rose River because of Pam and David's conscientious care of their guests. The proximity of the house to just about everything is an enormous plus.
