The Captain and Lizzie McCall Guestroom: Once the Master Bedroom for the Captain and his wife, this room on the main floor, is now a luxury guestroom with king bed and fireplace. Large private bath features a claw-foot tub and separate shower. Private adjoining parlor may be available for an additional $100 per night.

The Lydia McCall Guestroom: This large romantic room once belonged to the daughter of the family. The new design and wallcovering in this room was inspired by the remnants of the original décor discovered during the restoration process. Victorian charm abounds with a fireplace, queen and twin brass beds, and a luxury private assigned bath across the hall.

The Chaucer Room: This stately room is named in honor of Geoffrey Chaucer whose portrait adorns an intricate antique stained-glass window separating the new bath from the main room. Marble topped furnishings and sizable antiques are at home in this large room with queen bed, comfortable seating area and breathtaking views from the floor to ceiling windows.

The General Sherman Guestroom: This warm and inviting guest room is named in honor of William Tecumseh Sherman’s 1884 visit with the McCalls. The four-poster queen bed is a prominent feature of this room while a cozy sitting area and original stained glass and private bath with shower create a serene oasis.
The Sleeping Porch: This mini-suite is one of our most requested rooms. Decorated with whimsical elegance, this room has a fireplace and romantic sitting area, a king bed, trundle bed, wet bar, fridge, microwave, and TV. The private bath features a clawfoot tub and a separate shower.

The Carriage House North Guestroom: the Carriage House provides the privacy of your own quarters with full access to all the privileges of the main house. The Carriage House North has a refrigerator, coffee-maker, microwave, wet bar, skylight, and a private bath with shower.

1883 Victorian on National Register, recently restored, just one block from Shakespeare theatres and downtown Plaza. McCall House was comfortable in an elegant setting. Property's central location makes it possible to walk almost everywhere. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. Concierges were helpful.

This was our third time staying at the McCall House. We will do it again. The beds are comfortable, food is great - they even provided a gluten-free breakfast for me. We love the extra touch of the sherry in the rooms. Easy walking to the theaters and restaurants downtown.

McCall House is a lovely home. We stayed in the Capt. & Lizze McCall room, which was stunning. Innkeeper Nola is very kind and knowledgeable about Ashland. We hope to return soon!

One block away from theaters and shopping - didn't have to drive anywhere. The Inn was beautiful, well maintained and the innkeeper gracious. The breakfasts far exceeded expectations - like a five star restaurant!! An all around wonderful experience.

Excellent location. Very close to the theater and restaurants. Easy parking behind the house, friendly staff, and free wireless internet available. Alternate breakfast choice if you wanted to eat healthy.

From I-5 North, take the first Ashland exit at Highway 99. Continue North on 99 for 3 miles, past the University, to the center of Ashland. The road will fork and you must stay right on Lithia Way. Four blocks after the fork, turn right on Oak Street. The McCall House is the large yellow Victorian on the far corner of Oak Street and Lithia Way. There is a driveway just past the house on the left and parking is available in the rear of the house. To drive from I-5 South, see directions from airport.

Take I-5 South towards Ashland, approximately 10 miles. Take the first Ashland Exit at Highway 99. There will be a sign for the Oregon Shakespeare Theatre as well. Turn right at the end of the ramp and take a left on Highway 99. Continue 3 miles to the center of Ashland. The road will fork and you must stay right on Main Street. Turn left on Oak Street, your second left. The Shakespeare theatre will be on your right. Drive one block, cross Lithia Way, and the McCall House is the large yellow Victorian on your left. There is a driveway just past the house and parking is available in the rear.
