Beautiful, comfortable home and very nice and accommodating hosts!

The innkeepers are both extremely nice and made us feel right at home. The house is wonderful and you really take a step back in time. I loved the attention to detail. This was our second time staying at this inn and we will absolutely return. It's a gem of a bed and breakfast.

I made arrangements for my father and stepmother to stay at Pfeiffer Cottage over the Thanksgiving Holiday. They are very hard to please and they were both thrilled with their stay. My stepmother kept telling me,"we would recommend Pfeiffer Cottage to anyone, with no buts at all." Debbie & Ray were great people to deal with.

These innkeepers take pride in their home & business! Very friendly & accommodating. Clean & comfortable - felt like home. Didn't want to leave!

My wife and I were riding the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway this October and stayed at the Pfeiffer Cottage for one night. Debbie made us feel at home right away. She had a specific place for our bikes and was completely prepared for our stay. She also recommended an excellent place for dinner which was within easy walking distance. This B&B is very comfortable and spacious. We slept great and had a wonderful breakfast which fueled us for our next day's ride. We highly recommend it.

Our stay in the Pfeiffer Cottage Inn was a great getaway fro a few nights. We visited several wineries, had a superb meal in Albany, and took a nice walk along the river. I would recommend this inn to friends.

Pfeiffer Cottage Inn was a jewel in the heart of Albany Oregon. We stayed in the Bachelor room, which did not have an ensuite bath, nor did it have a shower, which for us was a negative. The service and hospitality of the owners exceeded our expectations, as did the incredible breakfasts. I would highly recommend this B&B for its ambience, location to downtown restaurants, and closeness to beautiful scenery to bike in.

So worth the few feet to soak in luxurious bubbles esp after a very long bike ride on the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway! We do provide cozy robes for your short trek!

The Sister's Suite was perfect for our family, and the breakfasts were amazing. We loved being able to walk into town, and the Innkeepers were very knowledgable in terms of places to eat, visit, and explore.

The innkeepers were extremely gracious and welcoming and our room and the entire space were extremely comfortable and homey. We would definitely stay there again!

I stayed overnight at the Pfeiffer Cottage Inn while working in Albany over the weekend. I only wish I could have stayed longer. It was a charming and relaxing home tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. The Innkeeper was gracious, helpful, friendly but never intrusive. I would gladly stay there again at the next opportunity.

My daughter and I stayed at the Pfeiffer Cottage Inn for a short stay last week. We found Debbie and Ray to be gracious hosts of their comfortable, beautifully maintained Inn. The Inn had perfect accommadations for us, with two bedrooms and our own bathroom! Debbie is a bit of a "foody" so needless to say her breakfasts were imaginative and deeelicious. There was always a bottle of wine set out to enjoy in the afternoons before walking to our dinner reservation in the quaint town of Albany. Debbie's recommendations for dinner and day actvities were spot on. Thanks for our wonderful time. I will always choose the Pfeiffer Inn when in the area!

My wife and I just finished visiting the Pfeiffer Cottage Inn for our 2nd stay while visiting our daughter who was attending Oregon State University. The Inn is located in Albany, a short 20 minute drive to the OSU campus located in Corvallis. Both times we visited OSU it was during a "football" weekend, making the stay away from Corvallis a little slower paced and certainly less crowded. Debbie and Ray were superb hosts. They offered great accommodations, fine wine, a delicious breakfast and great company/advise for excursions in the local area. We would strongly recommend you consider staying at the Pfeiffer Cottage Inn on your next trip to Central Oregon.

We have stayed at the Inn many times. We always feel right at home and enjoy socializing with the owners and the other guests. The breakfasts are fabulous, and the accommodations are comfortable, cozy and warm!

Owners are so accommodating; breakfast was to-die-for delicious; quiet neighborhood; beautifilul rooms; friendly guests ... all over a great stay!! One I will return to for sure!

Our room was exceptionally large, clean and had plenty of closet space and counter surfaces to place things. Our hosts were most hospitable. The food was good with large portions but not gourmet with 5 star presentation. I ate all of mine ! The cottage is located just off the downtown area but in a quiet neighborhood. We would recommend it and hope to stay there again.

The Pfeiffer Cottage Inn exceeded my expectations in every way. Debbie and Ray were helpful and engaging. The rooms were large and well appointed. I also found the inn to be quiet and the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. Our breakfast was most delicious and the proportions generous. Every detail was attended to. A great value also!

My only reservations were the lack of A/C at night. Woke up at 10:30 to a very stuffy room. The A/C had been shut off for the night, and we had to open the windows to be comfortable. Also, the neighboring houses and lots aren't terribly appealing, and you really need to keep the blinds closed! But these are minor quibbles. The hospitality was "above-and-beyond" overall.

My wife and I were given welcoming and helpful hospitality. We loved our room and the house had a lot of charm. We strolled around the neighborhood after dinner and really enjoyed seeing the old houses in the area. It was fun and relaxing. Debbie referred us to a really good restaurant for dinner, a real highlight of our trip.

This place is a great stepping off point for Willamette Valley adventures! Wonderful, old home with the most delicious breakfasts and a fantastic family that will help you to figure out your adventures!

The Pfeiffer Cottage Inn, is one of the best B&B's I have stayed in. Debbie and Ray were very welcoming and provided a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was well stocked with extras and the best towels ever! Breakfast was fantastic. Debbie and Ray also had great suggestions on where to eat and what to see while in town. You must have dinner at Sybaris, it was the best meal we have ever had, we couldn't fault anything the service was great and the food was amazing! While in Albany also check out the Carousel being built by volunteers, their work is amazing and totally worth the visit, the passion by everyone involved is fantastic. Anyway a great place to stay and we will definately stay here again the next time we pass through Albany.

Due to the nature of our visit to the Pfeiffer Cottage Inn, attending a Volleyball tournament in Corvalis, our schedules were very crazy; yet, they did all possible to accomodate our needs for breakfast overnight, treated us very warm and kindly. Definetely, We will stay at the Pfeiffer Cottage Inn whenever we are back in town again.

Debbie and Ray were gracious guests who opened their beautiful home to us over the Easter weekend. After the shortest of 3 days of biking from Champoeg to Eugene, we arrived minutes before a hailstorm pummeled Albany. Once cleaned up and settled in to our very spacious, cozy and spotless room, we relaxed for a short while before heading out for dinner. Returning to Pfeiffer Cottage Inn mid-evening, we were greeted with a warm glow emanating from the incredible living room. As we retired for the evening into a cozy bed it was nice how this "B&B" felt like a home away from home. Breakfast followed and a wonderfully simple small bowl of fruit and yogurt was our starter before a delicious egg dish made with simple, tasty ingredients. We were very well rested and happily satiated as we set out on our final, 65 mile ride day into Eugene! Many thanks to Ray and Debbie, we had a lovely time experiencing them, their wonderful home and Albany and hope to return with friends next season!

It was very convenient for us to stay here while our floor was being refinished a block away. Nice folks, very welcoming, great breakfasts, made us feel very comfortable to come and go as we pleased. We highly recommend this historic home and the innkeepers.

This is the best bed and breakfast place ever! The hosts are the best. I have stayed here several times now, as I frequently travel to the Albany area. It really feels like my home away from home. It is also a great value!

Attention to detail, superb food and amentities characterize this cottage of hospitality. We would plan to stay here again and again. we were first-timers, but the other guests we met were repeat customers. That says it all!

Great service all the way around for a ladies getaway weekend. We stayed in the Sister's Suite, participated in the Albany Nosh Tour, visited the Carousel Museum, and laughed during the Tour of Terror. The B and B was superb - food, accommodations, and friendliness of the owners.

We really appreciate that our needs were accomodated with no fuss whatsoever. We also enjoyed chatting with our hostess. She makes the most incredible pumpkin pancakes. We will definitely look forward to staying there again.

The owners were very nice and treated us like friends or special guests. The house istself was a good representative of its time period with the nice update of central heat and air. When we went out to eat the downtown area of shops and resturants was only a few blocks away and very walkable. The area felt very safe and had we more time than 1 night, we might have taken advantage of some golf or other shopping nearby. A friendly town...Dennis & Suzie

This B&B was perfect for my mom and me as we traveled from southern Oregon to the Seattle area. We felt very much at home in this beautiful, very clean B&B. We were treated like very special guests and enjoyed everything about our stay including the delicious breakfast.

My wife and I stayed with Debbie and Ray while biking the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway this September (2010). The accommodations were very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was grand (almost too much for us to enjoy prior to getting back on our bicycles). Debbie is a lovely hostess and very knowledgable about places to eat and see in Albany. We had been traveling for a week and needed a place to stay (with our 16 month old). All the hotels in Albany accepted smokers and pets. Being a little sensitive to both, we tried our hand at a B & B. ....we felt so pampered and enjoyed the stay so much, that we stayed 3 nights! :) I'm already planning my next trip. My husband and I stopped at the Pfeiffer Cottage Inn on our way home from Seattle. Debbie greeted us and immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. The Inn is lovingly taken care of - beautiful decor, spacious, clean and interesting. The Bachelor Room was small but perfect for an overnight. The large hallway provided seating for reading and relaxing. A breakfast of broiled grapefruit, coffee cake, baked eggs with cheese and chicken sausage was yummy. Debbie and Ray were delightful hosts, with interesting suggestions and information about the area and running a B&B. Next drive north we will be returning.

We have stayed at The Pfeiffer Cottage Inn twice, for a total of seven nights. We have thoroughly enjoyed our visit each time we have stayed. Ray & Debbie are extremely hospitable and the inn itself is lovely. I know the breakfasts have been mentioned in several other reviews, but you should know it is all true. The breakfasts are truly incredible. They also provide afternoon treats. Once it was cherry pie, another time it was blueberry pie. Yum! Wine is available in the afternoon/evening if you are so inclined. Ray & Debbie are available to answer questions and/or make suggestions for dining etc. They recommended Sybaris to us and we ate there once last year and once this year - it was excellent both times. The Inn's location is a couple of blocks to a cute downtown area and pathways along the river. Overall, this is a great place to stay and we will be back the next time we are in the area!

What a great experience. Joyce and I were warmly welcomed for our one night stay by both Ray and Debbie and promptly shown our room. We took the large room with the king bed and were very pleased. The bed was very comfortable and the newly finished bath was fantastic. Joyce really enjoyed the great soaker tub! After a very good nights sleep we had the breakfast to die for. Debbie had a banana and granola over fresh yogut waiting for us. Then she brought out scramble eggs with onion prepared in brown butter with great turkey bacon. Then she sherved us a cranberry french toast dish that was out of this world. Coffee, several types of tea and orange juice accompied the meal. While Debbie was cooking our breakfast I commented that I halfway expected to look around the corner into the kitchen and see my great grandmother in front of the stove. Riding my bike down the Willamette Vallley Trail from Champoeg Park to Eugene, I took an overnight break at the Pfeiffer Cottage Inn. Wanted a nice place with a good breakfrast rather than a motel with a fast food joint next door. The Inn was warm and pleasant, bed very comfortable, breakfast delicious, Debbie most hospitable. They even helped me fix a problem with my bike. BTW, had a great , modestly priced Italian dinner nearby at Clemenza's

Our stay at The Pheiffer Cotage Inn was by far our best experience at a B&B. Ray and Debbie were so warm and friendly that we felt more like family. The house is amazing and right downtown and Debbie makes a great breakfast. While we were there we went to the concert in the park and Debbie made a picnic for us to take and there were other surprises during our stay that made us feel so special. When we got home we missed sitting outside on the porch swing visiting with our new friends. We will definitely be staying with them again. Thanks Ray and Debbie for making our stay amazing.

This is by far the finest B&B I have ever stayed in. The Pfeiffer Cottage Inn is definetly the cleanest, most welcoming, and the breakfast exceeded my expectations. In so many ways, this establishment exceeds any other I've stayed in both in the US and Europe. From the fresh berry pie offered when we walked in the door, wine on the porch, comfy beds, and spotless accommodations, Debbie and Ray go all out to pamper their guests.

Such delicious meals featuring local, organic whenever possible. The afternoon treats and evening wine were delightful. Our hosts were especially helpful and welcoming. It was so nice and quiet, yet fun to visit with our fellow travellers. Charmingly decorated and spotlessly clean rooms. We highly recommend this inn.

This B&B was the nicest one we stayed at on our trip from LA to Ketchikan, AK. The hosts were extremely inviting and caring and their house is wonderfully decorated and spacious. Breakfast was great! I would recommend this B&B to anyone staying outside of Salem or Eugene, OR.

The decore of the house is beautiful! It has that "back home" feeling that fits well with the town. The house is very clean, comfortable, and the owners love what they do. I can't wait to return!
