During your stay at Bethell Woods’ you can enjoy the gardens, waterfall and pond, boulders, towering carved bear, and the sunrises and sunsets, which will leave you feeling refreshed and reconnected to nature. Leave your cares behind and enjoy your stay at our newly refurbished country B&B. Our goal is to make your stay truly refreshing and enjoyable. We do everything in our power to make your stay with us a relaxing, fun and unforgettable experience! The Bethell Woods Story: In 1955, a young married couple, James and Ruby Bethell, purchased this property, about 200 acres of forested land. Together, they cleared part of the land and then sold all but 20 acres to raise funds to build their home and start the fledgling Bethell Logging Company, which Jim ran from this location for 48 years. Five generations of Bethells have lived and made memories on our property, including Jim’s parents, his four daughters, eight grandkids and nine great grandkids. Cindy Bethell, Jim and Ruby’s youngest daughter, owns and operates Bethell Woods, along with her husband, Roger Asbahr. At Breakfast we serve French Roast coffee, fruit juice and a variety of breakfast meals that include house specialties such as our Wild Blackberry French Toast Cobbler and the Loggers' Hearty Breakfast. Many of our ingredients are locally grown and organic. Selections for special dietary needs are also available upon request. Our accommodations are warmly decorated, private and cozy, though spacious. Our rooms have hardwood floors, plenty of thick rugs, and private entrances and bathrooms.
