Gilbert Inn Bed & Breakfast
The Gilbert Inn is a romantic Queen Anne Victorian on the beautiful Oregon coast. Built in 1892, the Inn is located in Seaside, Oregon; one block from the Pacific Ocean beach, the "Prom," Broadway, and its popular "Turnaround." The Gilbert Inn is a short walk from everything in downtown Seaside.
The Inn's ten guestrooms each have a private bathroom, all rooms are suitable for one or two adults. The Gilbert Inn provides a romantic, restful and restorative atmosphere. It does not accomodate children, pets or smokers.
Guest rooms include a freshly prepared breakfast and the fare varies everyday.
Our location is nineteen miles south of the Oregon and Washington border on the scenic Oregon coast. The eighty mile drive from Portland takes about an hour and a half. From Seattle the drive takes about three and a half hours.

From the north (coming from Seattle and Astoria) on Oregon Coast Highway 101, enter Seaside and turn right onto Avenue B. Avenue B turns into avenue A. The Gilbert Inn is on the corner of Avenue A and Beach Drive.
From the south (coming from Portland, Tillamook and California) on Oregon Coast Highway 101, enter Seaside and turn left on Avenue U. Go a few blocks and turn right on Beach Ave. Go to the end of Beach Ave., turn right onto Avenue A and you're there! The Gilbert Inn is on the corner of Avenue A and Beach Drive. - Nearest major airport: Portland, OR (PDX) 92 miles

From PDX: I-205 South (to Portland); I-84 Est to I-5 South (to Salem); I-405 West(to Beverton); Exit 1D (U.S. 26) West (to Beaverton/Ocean Beaches); U.S. 26 seventy-five miles West (to Junction of U.S. 26 & U.S. 101); U.S. 101 North to Seaside. Left turn on Avenue U. Right turn on Beach Drive. Look for the Gilbert Inn at 341 Beach Drive. Right turn on Avenue A to the Gilbert Inn's car park.
