It is only one block from the Pacific Ocean beach, the "Prom," Broadway, and its popular "Turnaround." The Gilbert Inn is a short walk from everything in downtown Seaside. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, offering guests a home away from home, a seaside oasis away from their day to day cares.

Seeking to provide adults with a romantic, restful and restorative atmosphere, the Inn accommodates guests over the age of 18. This is a non-pet and non-smoking establishment.
The Gilbert Inn is nineteen miles south of the Oregon and Washington border on the scenic Oregon coast. The eighty mile drive from Portland takes about an hour and a half. From Seattle the drive takes about three hours.

From the north (coming from Seattle and Astoria) on Oregon Coast Highway 101, enter Seaside and turn right onto Avenue B. Avenue B turns into avenue A. The Gilbert Inn is on the corner of Avenue A and Beach Drive.
From the south (coming from Portland, Tillamook and California) on Oregon Coast Highway 101, enter Seaside and turn left on Avenue U. Go a few blocks and turn right on Beach Ave. Go to the end of Beach Ave., turn right onto Avenue A and you're there!
