Dining area in main lodge, where guests assemble for breakfast. In 1926, dining patrons sat on these same chairs. Meals are served on the original restaurant china that my great grandfather used for his guests.Sitting area in lower cottage room. Room has private bath and private deck. Large skylights look up into the forest canopy. Look around and you'll see gloves worn by great-grandma, books that were read by our grandfather, a fantastic oak bedframe that was also owned by our great grandmother.
Peering into the upper cottage room. Private bath.Room has its own deck, window seat with views into the woods. Large skylights through which you will look up into the forest canopy and on a rainy day, you'll drift off to sleep to the pitter patter of rain drops.Knotty pine walls and ceiling. Painted wood floors. Window seat and daybed, for lounging. Memory foam on queen size bed. This room is in the main lodge. Come down to the main living area and browse through the antique postcards of local activity and scenery.
This guest room is in the main lodge. Comfy queen bed. Love seat for lounging (makes into twin bed for a child). Knotty pine walls and ceiling. Painted floor. Come for a weekend or for a week and enjoy rustic country comfort.Window seat in upper cottege room. Curl up and read a good book! In the winter, hear the rain falling on the skylights. In the summer, lounge on your own private deck.
Living room--Main Lodge. Sprawl out on one of the couches with your favorite book, thumb through the albums of antique postcards,or simply sit, sip tea and admire the architecture of the building with its wood floors, rough hewn walls and open beam ceiling. The owners can give you a tour through memory lane, as many of the furnishings have been in the family for generations.
