Baldwin Village Inn
-
Nestled within the beautiful restaurant patios of Baldwin Street Village in the heart of downtown Toronto, Baldwin Village Inn is enviably set amongst the cultural and entertainment activities of the city. Stay close to the action but sheltered within our tranquil interiors and hidden courtyard.
The interiors are furnished in the contemporary style bringing modern conveniences to the guest rooms and common areas.
Originally built in the early 1900s, Baldwin Village Inn has been lovingly renovated combining the perfect blend of century heritage and modern living. The exterior architecture includes ironworks, lighting, and window shutters in the French Provence style, providing a warm and inviting escape reminiscent of European country elegance with all its comfort.
We have a small number of rooms providing our guests with privacy within intimate surroundings. Your hosts, Roger and Tess will be at premises to ensure that we meet your needs. Continental breakfast is included with your stay.
The bathroom interiors are bright, warm and inviting with modern features such as relaxing rainhead showers.
Baldwin Village is made up of a wonderful collection of patios and boutiques.
Come rest awhile in a garden hidden within a bustling city!

4.8 out of 5Sullivan by the Grange - Perfect!

Stayed here for just a couple of nights - all they had available at the last minute - and was charmed by the room, the common areas and the hosts. The location was perfect and we will stay there again on our frequent visits to Toronto.
4.0 out of 5Best B&B I ever stayed
June 04, 2010
I stayed 7 nights at Baldwin Village Inn. I travel quite a lot and I have stayed in plenty of B&Bs before, but this one was unique. The rooms are very clean and nice and the bathrooms are amazingly functional - and I'm a guy who usually doesn't really care or pay attention to these things. Breakfast is copious and delicious. Tess and Roger are outstanding hosts and they clearly love what they are doing. It's possible to feel at home from the first day until the last. Highly recommended!
4.6 out of 5Great B&B
October 12, 2009
My husband and I just spent a weekend in Toronto. We wanted to stay in a B&B downtown. The Baldwin in was within walking distance to everything! Roger and Tess were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. Surrounding the inn are several restaurants as well. We will be back to Toronto and back to the Baldwin Inn.
4.6 out of 5wonderfully located inn with flexible and friendly hosts
August 22, 2009
We stayed in the Baldwin Village Inn 2 times, all in all 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, all of us, as well the kids (10&12) as we ourselves. Conveniently located in a street full of restaurants, within walking distance of mayor nice neighbourhoods as well as CN tower & university. Roger & Tess are very warm hosts, who make sure that everybody feels at home (and gets to know each other over breakfast). They are very flexible and offer great services such as free internet, use of their video library (loads of kids movies as well). The rooms differ in size, some have more amenities than others. But all in all: excellent price quality relationship, most certainly for a metropole like Toronto

4.0 out of 5A hidden gem
November 11, 2008
Stayed for 8-10 days during September and October, along with two other family members. We all felt "at home" immediately, and nothing seemed too much trouble for our hosts, Roger and Tess. Breakfasts at the "farmhouse - type" communal table always got the days off to a great start. The Inn was good value for money, very clean, and had a really friendly atmosphere. Plenty of eating places nearby. Very quiet area. Would go back anytime.
4.0 out of 5A special find
October 22, 2008
We were in Toronto for day surgery at Princess Margaret Hospital and Baldwin Village Inn is extremely accessible to the major hospitals in the area; an easy 5 minute walk away. The added bonus was the warm concern and kind support we received from Roger and Tess. It was a somewhat stressful situation for us and the comfort of being in a "home" rather than a large hotel was beyond compare. We also took advantage of one of the outdoor cafes and absolutely loved the ambiance of the B & B and the Village in the middle of the city. I would suggest that if you're considering staying in Toronto this B & B experience is not to be missed.
4.4 out of 5Fabulous B & B

Had a lovely stay. Very quiet for a place located in the downtown area. Roger and Tess are great and the other guests were friendly.
4.8 out of 5Perfect Urban B&B
July 13, 2008
This B&B is perfect for the traveller who wants to get a flavour of urban TO. The owners make everyone feel at home and welcome. Breakfast is set-up with communal table that encourages friendly and easy-going chat among the guests. Highly recommendable!
