It is located it a very nice area, peaceful and quiet. However I was rather disappointed with the cleanliness.

We're so sorry to hear this. We take pride in maintaining a clean and well kept establishment. It's not clear to us precisely where in the house the guest's dissatisfaction lay. Had we been informed we would have immediately taken action. While we don't claim to be the Savoy, we do provide excellent value for the traveler with well-maintained amenities.

I found the hosts very friendly but our room was very dusty - I felt it needed to be cleaned better. Overall had a great experience here; excellent location and rate.

Thank you for your review - It is always nice to hear how great are rates, and how friendly we are and that you had a great experience. My only concern is...if the room was so "dusty" as you mentioned, why didn't you tell us when you were staying here or asked us for a partial refund ?? ... or was this remark intended for another B&B !!??

I called Amanda House directly based on a friend's recommendation - I got a pretty good rate ($85 a night taxes included) - Great location - close to everything - Thanks Allan for those marvellous muffins ! - I will come back ! read more
