Auberge McGee's Inn

Located downtown, McGee's Inn was built in 1886, and is a well-preserved Victorian landmark. Winner of the 2007-8 award for being one of the top 3 bed & breakfasts in Canada and featured as as a prize on Wheel of Fortune January 2008. All 14 rooms are individually decorated and have private baths, free local calls, hi-speed internet access, A/C, many have 12' ceilings, fridges. Our 3 luxurious suites have jacuzzis and fireplaces. The Parlor is large and bright with 12' ceilings and one of the original cherry-wood fireplace, Breakfast is served in the dining room as well as in the glorious sunroom just off the parlor.

    This beautiful Victorian mansion was built in 1886 for John McGee and his family. It is located right downtown in the historic area of Sandy Hill.The Parlour. Come in and relax in front of the fire or curl up with a book in one of the wing back chairs. Flip through the many books and magazines available or maybe you'll enjoy playing the old player piano that has been in our family for 3 generations.
    Room 21 - The Windsor Room - A very romantic room on the third floor. You'll feel like royalty in the canopy bed or in the deep soaker jetted tub in the bathroom.Room 16 - The John McGee Room  This is a warm and stately room on the second floor. The fireplace mantel is hand-carved cherry wood. It has 12' ceilings and the original crown moulding with 2 large windows facing North.
Enjoy the many interesting antique pieces featured inthis room.
    Room 20 - The Victorian Roses Suite - A gorgeous suite on the third floor featuring a king size bed. 
Relax in the jetted tub big enough for two and then curl up in the wingback chairs in front of a roaring fire in the fireplace.
Let us help you make your stay a special treat for that special person.Room 13 - The Egyptian Room - An exotic retreat on the main floor. In keeping with the Victorian tradition for the love of all things exotic, indulge yourself in the two-person jetted tub or in front of a roaring fire in the fireplace. There are interesting books on Egypt in this room.
The bathroom features a double shower (2 shower heads) with room enough for two!
