My wife and I stayed in the Grey room for our third anniversary, back in July of 2010. We didn't have much B&B experience at the time, and at the time we had no idea how spoiled we were! We've stayed in a number of nice B&B's from Yosemite to Shenandoah, and our experience the Chestnut Inn has become the "golden standard" to which we compare all others. This was not intentional, but often one of us will comment about how "that was nice, but remember at the Chestnut Inn..." If it weren't an 8 hour drive from home we'd go just to stay at the Chestnut--forget the falls! (though they are spectacular as well) Simply put--if you're going to be anywhere near Niagara Falls, stay at the Chestnut Inn--you'll be glad you did!

The Chestnut in was a marvelous stay with well-appointed rooms, attentive service, and great value. Of all the inns nearby, this inn is by far the nicest. You will not be disappointed.

Does this work: Canadian side of the Falls and off-season? Yes, indeed! No stress, pure recreation, great breakfast, excellent appartments, hospitatlity all over the place. Lu and family + housekeeper Carol were wonderful. Thanks for an unforgettable stay, Anna&Mathias

What a wonderful experience. We enjoyed every moment of our stay at the Chestnut Inn. Why would anyone want to stay in a Hotel??
