“Total relaxation, a great natural setting, terrific stress reliever” are all terms often used by our guests to describe our oasis just south of the town of Wheatley in south-western Ontario. Did you know- there are more rare species of plants & animals in this Carolinian- forested area than in any other region of Canada. With both a National and Provincial park minutes away and two conservation areas, we are ideally situated for nature walks and birdwatching. Lake Erie and a public beach are a short 2 minute drive, or borrow our guest-use bicycles for a longer trek. Fifteen acclaimed wineries are within a short drive- perfect for a 2-3 day stay for wine-lovers! Our new expansive home is built on 28 acres. Built with a B&B focus, we offer 4 beautiful bedrooms, three of which are on the main level. Our doorways are wide and two bathrooms offer accessibility. A beautiful sunroom is ideal for guests to read that special book, and the great room offers reclining sofas- so comfortable! Delicious breakfasts are served each morning and will be custom made to accommodate special dietary needs.
Tranquility offers a luxurious queen bed to nestle into. There is also a lovely wing-backed chair with reading light and a beautiful armoire houses a flat-screened TV. WIFI is available throughout the house. Rates start at $80 per night.

Painted a lovely yellow, this rooms is reminiscent of a country French room. It offers a beautiful view to the west through the garden doors. A small private covered porch is ideal for enjoying the first morning coffee or a glass of wine at day's end. The queen bed is low profile, with a superior mattress for a great night's sleep. An antique down-filled chair and ottoman are ideal for reading in this room with lots of natural light.Rates start at $100 per night.

This is the only room located in the upper level of the house. It boasts privacy and serenity and is extremely quiet. With a 2-piece ensuite bath and a kitchenette as well, it caters to those visiting for a longer stay. A table and chairs is ideal for snacking and a DVD player accompanies the flat-screen TV. The Nest also boasts a 4-piece private bath on the main level - just feet away from the stairway. Complimentary water and soft drinks are stocked in the bar fridge and granola bars, tea and popcorn are also available. WIFI is available. There is room to accommodate a cot, if required.

With a plush King bed, an ensuite 4 piece bath with a six foot air-tub and a huge walk-in shower, this rooms is sure to impress. From Highway 401- take Exit 56 or 63 into Tilbury. Go S on Queen St (County Rd #1) 20 km to Wheatley. Continue south through the traffic light in Wheatley (Erie Street) to the first road on the right past the cemetary. This is Hickson Road and is a dead-end road. Go to the end of the road, we are the last house- on the left hand side. Often the GPS will not show Hickson Road- it comes up as Mersea Road 5.
