As repeat guests at the Atherton House (we have family in the area), our extended family is now known to Pat, and we sat and talked over drinks and cheese as we caught up on news, on a recent visit. The guest wing is very modern, renovated, nicely decorated and "accessorized", the bed was wonderful, there is now wireless Internet and an above-ground pool. Breakfasts are incomparable. You're out in the country, yet central to the region's great wine tours, among many other attractions. Great bicycling region, I hear! Highly recommended.

Stayed here in July 2009 and again in November. Fantastic hosts, great location, and everything about the place excels. I will never stay in hotel in this area if I can stay here.
