    In addition to comfort, service, value and a remarkable breakfast, if you like history and antiques and an animated hostess who knows the history of the place this is the place to be. What an enjoyable stay we had. Would go back in a minute.

    We got hooked on B&Bs touring Scotland years ago and have stayed in may since. Some are better than others but we have never had a bad one. We always do our research and read the reviews. If there aren't any reviews we pass. The Colonel's Inn is one of the best we have stayed in. We stayed in the Colonel's Room. The room was all we could ask for. The swimming pool is clean and long enough for doing laps. The breakfast was outstanding! It was almost worth the price of our stay.
