The Irvine House is one of Orangeville’s original Victorian style homes, built in 1885 by Robert Irvine, a local painter and one of our founding fathers. The house is furnished with numerous antiques for both your comfort and enjoyment. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and is an ideal retreat for couples or business clients. The dining room can also be used for small meetings and conferences. Reserve one room or the entire house!

My mom & I spent a night at the Irving Inn while on a visit to Orangeville to ride the Credit Valley Express. The Inn was immaculate and very tastefully decorated with many interesting curios. Our room felt very homey with handmade quilts on the comfortable twin beds and a washbasin in the room. A full bathroom was right next door and was ours for the night since the other guests had a bath en suite. Helen was a gracious host, waiting for us when we arrived, making us feel at home with a full tour of the Inn, and sharing information about Orangeville shops and restaurants. Then she gave us the key to the front door and left us on our own in her beautiful Inn, as she does not reside there. She was back early the next morning preparing a tasty three course breakfast which we shared with our fellow guests for a delightful experience. We felt pampered and well cared for. At half the price of the local hotel the Irving Inn is a bargain besides. We’d be glad to repeat the experience.
