The Da Vinci room -- with an extra third person bed if you need it. Similar to Brunelleschi, it has a balcony with a horse carriage view. All our rooms have ensuite baths. Named after the Renaissance genius, Leonardo da Vinci.Carlotta of the La Toscana di Carlotta fame, uses an antique prosciutto holder handed down in her family to paper slice this fine meat, a delicacy of Tuscanny.
Brunelleschi Room -- named after the architect who built Florence's magnificent dome. Enjoy a horse carriage view from the balcony and scores of other amenities. Our guest lounge offers you newspapers, magazines, books on Bernard Shaw plays, exquisite books on Renaissance paintings from Italy, and publications pertaining to the Italians after whom we have named our rooms.
Italians speak the way they eat... SWEET!The Medici room -- ceiling to floor windows and the same high class amenities as the others with individual A/C. Named after the famous Tuscan family that was the patron of the arts in the Renaissance.
A light Italian omelette filled with Chippole, or sweetened Italian onions, a Tuscan specialty. Or have it with the traditional Pomarola or tomato sauce with basil and other herbs. They come with organic salad or simply baby Arugula or Spinach. Our signature Crostini! Bruschetta, Chippole, chicken liver pate and a puree of orange and red peppers -- all of them made in our kitchen, fresh, using Carlotta's family recipes from Tuscany.
Breakfast is served on a delightful patio with a larger than normal roof so that it can even be used when it rains. If you're lucky, a resident bunny in the English woodland garden will perform some appearing and disappearing tricks for you!
