We are inviting you to step back in time and enjoy the splendor of yesterdays in our magnificent Regency house located in the heart of the historic district of Niagara on the Lake. A five minute walk to the Queen Street shops, dining and theatres, Historic Lyons House B&B is central to all you'll need to see and do while in Niagara On The Lake, as well as being close to the attractions of Niagara Falls, the Niagara Wine Route and Casino Niagara. The spacious and elegant, centrally air conditioned guest suites are romantically furnished in period style queen sleigh beds, antique armoires and dressers, comfortable reading chairs, fireplaces and private bathrooms. Vast, English Gardens on the property with patios and sitting nooks, create a picturesque and ideal background for a relaxing picnic alfresco.

    Follow the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) toward Niagara. Once across the Garden City Skyway at St Catharines, take the Niagara-on-the-Lake exit (38b). From the traffic light at York Road turn left onto York Road, then right onto Airport Road. At Highway 55 turn right and follow 55 (Niagara Stone Road) until the lights at Mary Street. Turn right on Mary follow to T intersection with King Street. Turn left on King and the next street on your left is Centre Street. Historic Lyons House is situated right on the corner of King and Centre. Welcome.

    When you arrive to Niagara On The Lake at the intersection of Queen and King Streets (Prince of Wales Hotel on your left side), turn left on King and proceed three blocks to Centre Street. Historic Lyons House is right on the corner of King and Centre. Welcome

      At Historic Lyons House, breakfasts are anything but ordinary. Expect a wide assortment of fine menu items such as: Eggs Benedict, Cheese Souffle, Apple Cinnamon French Toast, Wild Mushroom Omletes, French Crepes with asparagus and smoked turkey and more.
      We feature locally grown fruits and vegetables from Niagara farms and will gladly adapt our menu to any special dietary requests.

    • Smoking is not allowed (there is a designated area in the garden for smoking)
    • We cannot accommodate guest pets

    • Deposit amount required (To guarantee your reservation, 50% deposit of entire stay is required.)
    • Check in time is 4 pm and Check out time is 11am
    • Cancellations:
      If a reservation is canceled within 14 days of arrival date, we make every effort to re-book the room. However, if we are unable to do so or you fail to show for your reservation, we will charge the total payment to the credit card provided. A $35 administration fee will be charged regardless of reason or time of cancellation

Elegant, romantic room featuring a cherrywood sleight queen bed with Egyptian, comb- cotton, embroiled linens, dresser, armchair and an antique, sitting bench, beautiful woodwork around a 6 by 6 foot window overlooking the location where the first Upper Canada Parliament debated in1792 under the oak tree. Large Bathroom with a corner glass shower, Jacuzzi tub and teak bench under a window with a view of our magnificent gardens and the enchanting Wilderness.
    Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in your room before breakfast.Sir John's Suite.  Spacious, sophisticated, period style room with lots of historic charm. Queen bed with Egyptian comb-cotton, embroiled linens, sitting area with  armchairs, beautiful woodwork around a 6 by 6 foot window overlooking Commons Park and historical Butler’s Barracks, fire place and a large ensuite bathroom. Display of paintings by L. Y. Jackson and graphics by Spanish artist Roser Pellejero.

Queen size Georgian bed with Egyptian comb- cotton, embroiled linens, sitting area with armchairs,fireplace, mirrored armoir, beautiful woodwork around a 6 by 6 foot window overlooking Commons Park and historical Butler’s Barracks and an elegant ensuite bathroom. Passionate paintings by local artist Linda Hankin dress the walls and create an unparallel atmosphere.
