    Great hospitality!

    July 19, 2011

From the moment we arrived, Marilyn and Jim made us feel at home. They made every effort to create a welcoming atmosphere and were very helpful with information regarding places to eat and sight-see. They also helped with some excellent travel advice for us on our continued journey and kindly printed out maps and timetables so we wouldn't get lost. There was a great selection of 24 hour beverages and snacks. Our breakfast was delicious and Marilyn made sure we were satisfied with the menu. Glen Mhor is located within walking distance to the beautiful falls as well as the tourist strip. In the other direction, it is a nice walk to the downtown area where the locals go. It is close to the action, but removed enough to ensure a quiet night's sleep and a relaxing experience. The garden is lovely and it's a shame we couldn't spend more time to thoroughly enjoy it. I highly recommend staying with Marilyn and Jim, a lovely relaxing experience!

    Excellent service and location!

    July 05, 2011

It was very easy to find the Glen Mohr once we got through the border into Canada. It is a mere few blocks away from the bustling "main" street, and is very walkable. I loved not needing to use the car for our entire stay, and even though we checked out early in the morning, the owner allowed us to keep our car parked in the driveway, which parks a total of 5 including the owner and her husband, and they are more than willing to move their cars if needed. We were able to plan our stay almost entirely with the help of the owner. She gave us advice on the best places to go, what to avoid and so on. She also has plenty of maps and a binder with information and prices for all of the attractions, in Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Toronto, and so on. The bed in our room (Magnolia) was very comfortable, and the bathroom is conveniently located right across the hall. The shower head is a little awkward, and makes you feel like you have to lean on the wall to stay in the spray, but everything in the rooms is otherwise excellent! The breakfast food wasn't a spread by any means, but it was cooked fresh, and the menu changes every day. There is free coffee and tea available at all times in the dining room, and there are various snack foods available for a small amount, as well. Overall, I give the Glen Mhor Guesthouse B&B 4 out of 5 stars. I would absolutely stay there again!

    Glen Mhor is the Most!

    May 16, 2011

What an absolutely wonderful experience my sister, cousin and I enjoyed during our recent stay at Glen Mhor Guesthouse B&B in Niagara Falls. Our hosts, Marilyn and Jim, provided exceptional service and we could not have been happier with their attention to every detail of our comfort and convenience. This charming accommodation is perfectly portrayed in the photos and description on their website....spotless rooms and scrumptious breakfasts, along with helpful suggestions regarding the many attractions of such a splendid area. The pride taken by Marilyn and Jim in setting the highest of standards for their guesthouse seemed a perfect complement for the reputation of Niagara Falls as a natural wonder of the world. Anything less would not have been "Mhor"~ With many thanks, Sharon Sinclair

    Excellent B & B!!!

    April 24, 2010

My husband & I have just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay as guests at this charming home. The view from the verandah and also from the upstairs sitting room is as amazing as the photos show and the entire area is so serene and peaceful. We had booked the Ivy room, but did have a chance to see some of the other rooms also and any one would have been perfect-each with it's own individual character and style. Our hosts, Marilyn & Jim were so helpful in guiding us to the many attractions in the area and offering advice and information. This home is within walking distance of Clifton Hill and also the Falls, so we just left our car for the first day & toured on foot, which was great. We were pleasantly surprised at the great full breakfast, homemade preserves and breads served both mornings and enjoyed relaxing in the sunny breakfast room or on the front verandah at various times through the day or evening and visiting with the other guests. All in all this was a really great little get-away and we intend stay here again very soon.
