    Beautiful and extensive gardens by the river for your enjoyment and relaxation. Spacious guest sitting room with gas fireplace, TV, walk out to patio and gardens. Full breakfast, fresh fruit, choice of hot dishes, vegetarian on request. Family and fine dining and speciality shops in Manotick village. English, French and German spoken. 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa. Convenient to the airport.

    A peaceful oasis

    We spent 3 nights with Jackie & Trevor recently. Their home is in a lovely serene enviornment just a stones throw from the city of Ottawa. This was our first stay but will definitely not be our last. The home is comfortable, very clean and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely and our hosts were attentive. We had access to a guest living room and their yard that led down to a small river where there were birds, chipmunks and a duck even laid her eggs in a wooden planter on their deck and sits on them observing the comings and goings of the guests. This was a home away from home and we could not be happier with our hosts or their accomodations. I will never stay in a hotel or motel in the south end of Ottawa again now that I have discovered this gem. Thanks Trevor & Jackie!
