Enjoy welcoming hospitality at The Tymparon Inn, a restored intimate 1865 heritage country inn located in the City of Kingston between Fort Henry & the Rideau Canal, UNESCO World Heritage Sites. 2km south of the 401 & 5km to Kingston’s downtown world famous Thousands Islands Cruises. Among top 5% of Ontario's B&B's in "Best Places to Bed & Breakfast in Ontario" according to travel writer Janette Higgins. Inspected & approved by the Federation of Ontario Bed & Breakfast Accommodation(FOBBA)in May 2009 as a Four Star member. Rated Excellent on Trip Advisor by 51 of our guests. Now in our ninth year operating The Tymparon Inn, we've proudly hosted guests from 45 countries around the world. Effective 1 January 2013 we are no longer required to collect the government tax (HST of 13%) since we are under the annual revenue threshold. Since we have kept our 2013 nightly and multi-night rates the same as our 2012 rates, anyone staying with us in 2013 will save 13%. We offer many Innkeeper Specials: Snooze & Cruise (May-Sept), Your Heritage Experience (Fort Henry: May to beginning of Sept) and Stay & Play (year-round).

Deposit Amount Required: A valid Visa or Mastercard is necessary to make a reservation with us, however we do not charge your card, as we do not require any deposit.

Cancellations: As we are a small Inn, cancellations affect us greatly. For reservations made for one night if you find it necessary to cancel or modify your reservation, please call us 72 hours prior to noon on your scheduled check-in date. If you are not able to provide the required 72 hour notice the nightly rate quoted on the reservation will be charged to credit card provided to secure the reservation. Please also note that shortening your stay is considered a cancellation. For reservations made for two or more nights or two or more rooms for one night, if you find it necessary to cancel or modify your reservation, please call us 7 days prior to noon on your scheduled check-in date. If you are not able to provide the required 7 day notice the nightly rate quoted on the reservation will be charged to credit card provided to secure the reservation. Turn left onto County Road 15. The Tymparon Inn is 4 km away. We are the first private driveway on your right after the traffic light at Innovation Drive (Tim Hortons). From Toronto (2 1/2 hours): Take Highway 401 East towards Montreal. Exit at County Road 15 (Exit Number 623 - the last Kingston exit). Turn right, heading South toward Kingston. The Tymparon Inn will be on your left in 2Km. From Montreal (2 1/2 hours): Take Highway 401 West towards Toronto. Exit at County Road 15 (Exit Number 623 - the first Kingston exit). Turn left, heading South towards Kingston. The Tymparon Inn will be on your left in 2Km. From Syracuse (2 hours), Rochester (3 1/4 hours), Albany (4 hours), Boston (6 1/2 hours): Take Route 81 North in Syracuse off the New York State Thruway. Cross into Canada over the Thousands Islands bridge. Take Highway 401 West towards Toronto. Exit at County Road 15 (Exit Number 623 - the first Kingston exit). Turn left, heading South towards Kingston. The Tymparon Inn will be on your left in 2 Km.
