    Hastings House is a finely appointed Bed and Breakfast with three bedrooms, each with a modern, private bath. Open year round and located 3 blocks from the downtown, across the road from the Trent Waterway, this former blacksmith shop has been restored to a cozy home, with the ambience of a quiet retreat in the country and all the amenities that allow for comfort and relaxation. Enjoy our large living room with oversize couches and cable T.V or watch a DVD from our extensive library of films. Have breakfast in our dining room or in our sunroom and watch the world go by. Have a café au lait, a pot of gunpowder tea with mint or a Bodum of coffee to start your day. We serve a full breakfast for guests each morning that features the bounty of our farmers in the county of Northumberland. Fresh bacon, eggs, bread and our (roasted on the premises) coffee will delight your senses. Enjoy our own homemade yogurt topped with your favorite granola from a vast array of choices. If you have any dietary concerns or allergies please let us know and we will do our best to ensure that you are taken care of. Each room is themed in its decoration and has an ensuite bath, stereo music and Wi-Fi connection. You may choose from a King, Queen or Double bed each with feather bed and duvet. And for your lounging pleasure, fabulous, thick, terry velour bathrobes!. At Hastings House we are committed to excellence and strive to exceed our guests’ expectations.
