My boyfriend and I were looking to have a relaxing weekend away to enjoy some quiet time and the outdoors. We heard wonderful things about the waterfalls in Hamilton so we decided we wanted to explore that area. I am so thankful that we found this bed and breakfast. We have stayed at many b&b's in the past and we have to say that this has been by far one of the best! The room was very clean and spacious and the beds extremely comfortable! Angela and Wes are very welcoming, friendly, and caring. They will go out of their way to ensure that the guest is comfortable – I had even left my dirty reusable water bottle on the table in the room and when I came back from a day of hiking I found that it had been washed and left to dry for me (it’s the little details that mean so much)! My boyfriend and I also opted to not have breakfast, but they still offered us toast and juice every morning. The pool and hot tub were great and a peaceful setting, especially when Angela put on relaxing music for us. I also must say that I loved the skylights in our room; it was nice to wake up to natural light filtering through and also use the Jacuzzi while looking up at the night stars. We cannot wait to be back to this b&b and bring our friends with us. Thank you Angela and Wes for such a wonderful stay.

Do you like having a spacious, tidy suite of rooms all to yourself? How about a relaxing soak in a jacuzzi? Maybe a leisurely breakfast of waffles or eggs and bacon while reading the paper? If you're on this site, it means you prefer the charm and personalized service of a bed and breakfast to the sterile, forgettable blandness of most hotels, so let me assure you that Four Oaks is what a B&B was meant to be. Angela and Wes really went above and beyond to make my dull work trip feel like a relaxing getaway. Also, they make the most delicious breakfasts. I can't stop thinking of those waffles... Was almost sorry to have to come home!

We stayed at the four oaks for two nights in May 2013. I can't say enough good about this place - it was more than anyone could imagine. My wife and I had the entire upstairs suite which included two bedrooms, bath (very large and with a hot tub) and a living room with TV. The breakfasts were excellent and filling. Outside they have a patio area with an outdoor hot tub and deep pool (neither of which we used. We had invited a friend from Hamilton to join us for a glass of wine before dinner. The hostess brought us out a tray of cheese and crackers. Now we were not expecting that kind of treatment. WOW!!! It was like staying with your own family. We will definitely stay there again when in the area.
