  • Front view. The Victoria Rose Inn boutique hotel is set on acres, 150 feet back from King Street. It offers 12 luxury accommodations, all with private bathrooms. The 1000 islands are mere meters away.
Front lobby table, where guests may add to a long list of delightful comments regarding their experience, deluxe accommodation, gorgeous grounds, and excellent service at Auberge Victoria Rose Inn, 1000 Islands, Gananoque, Ontario, Canada.
Sitting area in one of the guest room. Meticulously clean, updated, and well appointed rooms in the thousand Islands, Gananoque, Ontario, Canada
The luxury Inn is decorated with period furniture. Another reason it is so often referred to as the best of Gananoque Inns.
The Inn features beautifully appointed private bathrooms. Perfect for getting ready for dining, theater, or just unwinding after a great day.
The main area of one of the "Grand" rooms, showing its original and fully functional fireplace. Perfect for a tranquil romantic evening.
Another gorgeous bathroom. This one in room #5, the "Sundown". The bathroom features granite vanity top, marble floors, and shower. The remainder of the room floors are made authentic and rich tongue and groove oak.
Roses are red, ..... these graced the main living room - one of many areas that guests of this fine Inn can enjoy. A room at The Victoria Rose Inn is much more than just a room. Its a spacious home, beautiful park like grounds, porches, patios, verandahs and more.
Peekaboo! At over 135 years old, the Inn welcomes men, women and children of all ages, provided they are younger than the building. This little guest is well within that range.
Black marble fireplace living room features comfy leather sofa and baby grand piano. Another perfect place to hang out.
As the "Garden Song" says... "Inch by inch, row by row Gonna make this garden grow Gonna mulch it deep and low Gonna make it fertile ground" Care of the extensive gardens is ongoing.... Enjoy!
Always a laid back, fun and happy place to spend special moments that memories are made of!
A typical example of the Susanne's fantastic floral creations that complete the Victoria Rose Inn. The imaginative bouquets are an impressive weekly thing.
For almost 140 years the walls of the Victoria Rose Inn have been listening to stories from Gananoque's first mayor, business people and teachers. From William Byers (the original owner of the house), to Samuel McCammon, to the Bulloch's of "Parmenter and Bulloch" factory, and on and on, this rich history has been captured and physically displayed on the wall of the Inn.
Down the garden path. Rear yard showing lush areas to relax and refresh.

    A Charming Stay

    October 13, 2012

I was a great place to spend a night and go back in time to the simpler days. My wife and I really enjoyed our after noon coffee on the back porch. Breakfast was served on the back porch the next morning with no shortage of food and very nicely prepared. I would put it up with the top 3 B&B that we have stayed at.
