Children are always fascinated when they are here, and rarely do we see a frown on their face. As an outdoor writer I travel all over the US, Canada and Mexico on my hunting and fishing activities and the Maples Farm Bread & Breakfast was the first time I have ever stayed in a B&B when on a hunting trip. I SHOULD NOT HAVE WAITED SO LONG!!! Doug and Bev Spencer were outstanding hosts in every way. The accommodations were roomy, comfortable and totally outstanding. And the food............. it could not have been any better. It was truly home cooking at its very best. That evening the Spencer's invited me into their living room where we watched TV and talked about just about everything including my visit to Ontario to turkey hunt. And in the morning, Bev was up well before me to be sure I was fed before I went hunting. I plan on returning to Ontario to hunt again next year and will be staying at the Maples Farm B&B. I also have include my enjoyable stay here in my story of my successful turkey hunt.
