Inn at Woodward Park

My husband has special dietary needs and she put a lot of effort into making sure that our food was safe for him to eat (and it tasted wonderful). We both loved the experience so much that it felt like a home away from home. Can't wait to be able to stay again!

For our wedding anniversary, I had scheduled something special for my wife. We absolutely loves the amenities. And I'm thinking we need to do this again more than just once a year. The scenery and decorations for each room are wonderful! The dining is superb. The locale is wonderful. Don't miss out!

This place is wonderful!! My boyfriend and I stayed there recently and loved it. Janet is an excellent hostess, we loved the room, she recycles, and even found an organization that can reuse bar soap and sterilize it, giving it to people in need in other countries. The breakfast was delicious! If you are looking for an environmentally friendly bed and breakfast at a great price, stay here!!

This is a well-kept and convenient B&B. Janet is friendly and cooperative, and makes a nice breakfast. We were particularly grateful when family concerns meant we needed to stay an extra night, that we were able to do so with no fuss. The only difficulty was the entrance to the B&B, which is extremely steep and comes off a very busy street - not something under the owner's control.

The driveway is a little steep. The property was built in 1920 and I think they wanted to get a good start in their horseless carriage. In the rare event that ice or snow is in the forecast, I do advise guests to park on a side street. I am glad the guests enjoyed their time here.

This charming little inn is a gem! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do in Tulsa. Janet is a gracious host and provided great hospitality. The inn was full for the night and yet it was so quiet we hardly knew anyone was there. Would definitely go back again!

My husband and I spent our anniversary at the Inn at Woodward Park. We had a wonderful weekend. I surprised my husband with a picnic that Janet prepared for us. He said the picnic was his favorite part of the weekend. We had a lot of fun exploring the Woodward Park area and we will definitely go back again!

We just completed a 3 night stay at the Inn at Woodward park and would definitely stay there again in the near future. Convenient to downtown, museums and Cherry St. this B&B offers all the amenities with down home charm. The second floor sun room with books, games and DVDs for the guests was a wonderful place to enjoy our first cup of coffee and a relaxing common room. The downstairs living room was equally lovely. Innkeeper Janet upgraded us to the Hollywood Room since we were the only guests. Highly recommend this B&B. Thanks!!!

The Inn at Woodward Park is a fabulous inn. We whole- heartily enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely and Janet the inn keeper made us feel welcomed. She was personal and wanted to accommodate to the guest needs. As well, each morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast whether it be quiche with fruit or cherry almond pancakes with sausage. More than once the word yummy came out of our mouths! Overall, we would stay again and would recommend it to others!

Visiting the Inn at Woodward Park is at the top of my favorite places to go. Adjacent to Woodward Park and within walking distance of Tulsa Rose Garden, the view from any window of the inn during any season is beautiful. The home is exquisitely decorated in full 1920s fashion, the year the house was built. Clean and comfortable, with up to date baths that seamlessly blend with the rest of the home, Inn at Woodward Park is all that one hopes to find in accommodations. The innkeepers, Janet and Mark have poured heart and soul into restoring splendor to this part Tulsa's history. Janet is gracious, warm and friendly. She prepares breakfast with locally grown food where possible creating delicious and nutritious morning meals. I would definitely recommend Inn at Woodward Park and I look forward to staying there again.

We stayed for two days in June on a business trip and had a wonderful time. It is within walking distance of many nice places to eat and across the street from Woodward Park. The Sunroom had a table we used to do our work between meetings. The innkeepers where very nice and she went to the farmers market that morning to purchase fresh fruit and rolls for breakfast.

The rooms and shared spaces were very tastefully decorated.

My husband and I are from Oklahoma City and wanted to get out of town for the night, so we decided to stay at the Inn at Woodward Park for its close proximity to the park across the street. We were able to stay in the enchanting Morocco suite and got a good night's rest in the comfortable bed. In the morning, Janet (who is a sweetheart) made a delicious breakfast for us--pancakes, bacon, and a serving of fruit. I only wish we had more time to enjoy ourselves in the house; we'll have to come back for another stay!

Had a wonderful 10th wedding anniversary at the Inn at Woodward Park. We will definitely go again soon!

The Inn at Woodward Park is a great place for anyone looking for a little hideaway, but I speak from the perspective of a business traveler getting weary of typical hotel arrangements. Janet is a supremely caring person and will always work to accommodate whatever your schedule requires. The rooms are fun and each unique, all are always clean, and it all just makes for a very pleasant, relaxing stay. Also, be sure to take a walk around the neighborhood if possible - there are a number of nice places truly within walking distance that are worth seeing! Finally, this may sound like it would be "too relaxing" for that business traveler looking to keep on the move, but I assure you that it is not. If you need to be somewhere at some point, Janet will start your day well with a smiling face and fresh breakfast, then you're off. Then, if you come back and need some dinner, the "happening" Cherry street is just a 10 minute walk (or quick drive) away... I would recommend Andolini's Pizzeria for both their food and beer selection ;)

This was a great weekend get away. The people were great and the room was above any cheaper hotel. They reconended a fantastic resteraunt for dinner. The only draw back was the breakfast served in our room both days was not really something I would have asked for, but hey who was really hungry anyway. Thanks to all for a great rememerable weekend

I am glad this couple enjoyed their stay except for breakfast. I wish they had come to me after their first breakfast and expressed what they would like the 2nd morning. I am glad to take requests. I believe that weekend I prepared an italian frittata one day and multigrain waffles the 2nd. If they would have preferred something like biscuits & gravy (my favorite), I would have made it. I hope they return and give me a heads up on what they would prefer. My goal is for everyone to leave happy and full!

I recently stayed at Inn at Woodpark while attending a conference in Tulsa. What a wonderful alternative to staying in a hotel! The hosts were so accomodating and the room was perfect. The location is very convenient - a wonderful outdoor mall is within easy walking distance for restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay at Inn at Woodpark again!

After spending a night here a year ago, we vowed to return. And, now we wish we could return again! Hosts Mark and Janet Mobbs are still welcoming, the rooms still comfortable, the amenities generous, the breakfasts mouthwatering. The innkeepers have moved to a house a couple of miles away, and their suite on the main floor converted to a large guest room that will sleep four, so we brought extra people (a total of 7--mom & 2 children downstairs and a couple & 2 singles upstairs). As we reserved the entire house, an exception was made for one of the children. a ten-year-old two years short of the usual minimum. After we settled in and assembled in the sunroom, Sam sighed, looked around, and said "I could live in this house!" He was delighted that Janet generously prepared plainer breakfast food for him when he found the elegant Eggs Benedict casserole intimidating--but it didn't go to waste, his grandfather managed to eat Sam's share as well as his own. On last year's visit, the roses in Woodward Park were in full bloom; this year, azaleas. Between the inn and the park, we had a wonderfully relaxing weekend, and hope it will not be our last at the Inn at Woodward Park.

I have stayed in a number of small inns and Bed and Breakfast over the past five years. So when I was planning a trip to Tulsa I found the Inn at Woodward Park. I found the owners to be great to work with from the start. The Oil Barron Room is huge and clean. The food was great! As I said I will be back!

We originally were to stay at another B&B nearby. We received a call the Monday before our trip that the owners would not be able to have us. We frantically began trying to find another place to stay, B&B or hotel. Wouldn't you know that weekend it was the Cirque-du-Soleil Michel Jackson event. Several hotels and B&Bs were completely booked! We called up the Inn at Woodward Park, and they had availability, thank goodness. It was also right in the middle of where we needed to be for the weekend so we didn't have to drive more than 5 minutes to get to our destinations, visiting friends. The house is beautiful--lots of charm, gorgeous furniture. Janet was so sweet--she even allowed us to check-in early (our drive was much shorter than google maps told us). Breakfast was a delightful quiche complete with fruit salad and a little sweet treat as well. We've stayed in a few B&Bs, though only in TX before. This was one of the top in values, especially for the location. I can only imagine what the park nearby looks like in the spring and summer months. We certainly want to return, though we hear that it fills fast those times of year. Time to look at our calendar and see when our next visit is;)

Our 2 days and nights were wonderful! Janet was extremely sweet and very generous. Highly recommended and we plan on staying there again!

I had a wonderful time at the Inn at Woodward Park. I purchased the romance package and was very pleased. The roses were beautiful, the champagne was pleasant and the chocolates nice too. We had a fantastic evening and very much enjoyed the hospitality that we received.

I stayed in the oil barron suite the night before the Tulsa marathon. The suite is large with a very comfortable bed and has it's own separate entrance. It would be perfect for a business traveler who wanted some extra space while spending a week or more in the city. Overall, I found this inn to be a great alternative to a hotel. It's in a really lovely part of Tulsa with great shopping and restaurants just a short walk away. Judy, the innkeeper, was very friendly and accommodating where my race-day needs were concerned. The restoration she and her husband have overseen of the property is really astounding. I wish I'd been able to visit when I wasn't so focused on my race; I didn't get a chance to really partake of the usual breakfast since I prefer to run on a nearly empty stomach, but I have every reason to believe it would have been great, too. I'd absolutely look to the Inn at Woodward Park first for lodging when planning future trips to Tulsa.

My husband and I were looking for a quiet "getaway" and we found it! We were so pleased with everything (although parking was a little tight)... The location is right by Woodward Park and Utica Square. We enjoyed a nice evening and had a homeade breakfast the next morning! With a leisurely checkout time of 11 AM it was perfect. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We love to hear from our guests. So glad that they enjoyed their time here. The parking situation is tight. We are in a protected historic neighborhood and have limited parking, one car per guest room. Oversized vehicles, such as Suvs, etc really have a time backing up to get out. We apologize for that inconvenience

My partner and I stayed at this B&B last weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The Jacuzzi tub for 2 was outstanding, the breakfast very yummy and the overall cost for the B&B far exceeded our expectations! Anytime we travel, we would much rather stay at a homey B&B than some impersonal motel/hotel. Next time we are in Tulsa, we will be staying at the Inn at Woodward Park again!

My sister and I stayed at the Inn for a girls' getaway weekend, and we absolutely loved it! Janet and Mark rescued this 1920s home from demolition and are wonderful hosts; our rooms were clean, lovely, and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The Inn is across the street from a gorgeous park and walking distance (2 blocks) from Utica Square, a fun shopping/restaurant district. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

We were welcomed and shown two rooms to choice from. We had the 'Oil Baron's suite'. It was very spacious and extremely comfortable. There were lots of little extras that were provide that we did not expect. Thank you Janet and Mark for a lovely time in your home and in Tulsa. Sheila from Scotland

Great house, comfortable room, Janet a very friendly host. The sun porch is a great place to spend time, well stocked with snacks, pop, even wine. We stayed in the Hollywood Room, which has a comfy bed and large bath with tub and shower. It does front directly on the street, which is busy in the morning. Peeked at the Morocco Room which looks fabulous and is on the back of the house away from the street. Look forward to staying there again, as we have an aunt in retirement home in Tulsa.

I surprised my wife with an overnight stay at the Woodward Park Inn. This was a first time stay at a BnB and we were both impressed.Janet met us at the door and after a few minutes of chitchat we got a brief tour and were shown our room. We stayed in the Moroccan suite,very cozy with flowers and champagne and strawberries and chocolate. We had a lazy breakfast the next morn in the sunroom,Janet is a very good cook. Much too soon it was time to head back to our home in SW Ok. We will definetly stay here again.Be sure to check out the Aquarium and the shops and eateries at the river.We did discover that finding a great place to eat on a Sun eve was a challenge . most places closed at 7pm,except for chains. We did eat at a Longhorn Steakhouse and were happily surprised at how good it was.

Janet and Mark were very welcoming but not in the creepy-kind-of-way I had envisioned for a bed and breakfast. This was our first b & b stay and it was amazing. The Jazz room was just what we needed and we slept very well. The croissant casserole we were served for breakfast was delicious!

The Inn was lovely, quiet and location was central to my quick tour of Tulsa. Woodward Park with the gardens and museums plus Utica Square my focal points. Enjoyed my time spent with Janet over breakfast...the food was great. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Tulsa.

Our stay was lovely we had a nice quite evening. A lovely walk in the park and around the neighborhood. I was pleased with the whole experience.

Champagne, fruit, and cheese were waiting for us. Breakfast in bed was amazing each morning. Everything was delightful. Location was excellent for shopping, touring, going out to eat, attending a concert downtown. Hosts were friendly, helpful, and as nice as the surroundings. Hosts Janet and Mark will make you feel like you are a part of their family. The five star treatment they extend to guests who welcome being and feeling like a human being and who is valued as a person and not simply another chain hotel type occupant, is simply refreshing at this beautifully restored 1920's well maintained B&B. You will leave feeling that you've had one of the best stays in a B&B of your life. You'll be close to the best restaurants, shopping and cultural attractions Tulsa has to offer to travellers. You'll be two blocks from one of Tulsa's most contemplative spots -- Swan Lake. Yes, there are swans and other water foul for your delight. As well as being across 21st Street and Woodward Park that has a massive rose garden, I'm talking acres of just roses. Mark and Janet do a breakfast that you'll talk about once you get home. There's also ample outdoor space to sit and relax and interact with their two rescue cats, who are both as loving and welcoming as your hosts. If you are travelling to Tulsa, for leisure, culture or business the Inn at Woodward Park is a mid-town location that will surprise, delight and be a source of inspiriation. Great R&R set up the massage she was great and very relaxing before bed

We stayed just one night, but wish we would have had the time to stay longer. It was very nice to just get away from things, and this place is very relaxing. We opted for the romance package and the picnic package. The room we stayed in was spacious, and the bath room was amazing. The only part of the visit that left me wanting was the dining, but there are several great locations nearby. Would stay here again.

I'm disappointed that these guests were disappointed with their dining. The Romance package includes a fruit and cheese tray. The fruit is usually strawberries and grapes, the cheese is individually wrapped baby bels and laughing cow. Chocolates are also included. The picnic lunch consists of sandwiches, chips, veggies, cookies and fruit. I don't know what I served for breakfast that day, it is usually a fruit salad, egg dish and bread item. I use local and organic products. Perhaps they didn't like eggs or would have preferred turkey and cheese, instead of chicken salad sanwiches. I hope these guests do come back again and request what they would like to eat. I aim to please.

Rented the entire inn (3 rooms with private baths) for a one-night stay, wished it could have been longer. Enjoyed the sunroom and the patio. Evening snacks and early-morning coffee and snacks were provided, in addition to a delicious breakfast. Parking is available. The website is very helpful, and the innkeepers can answer any specific questions that remain. Location was perfect for our needs. Based entirely on the enjoyable stay we had, and our wish to spend more time at the inn and with the innkeepers, we have decided to return, even though we have no particular reason to visit Tulsa again!

The Inn is a beautifully restored home across from Woodward Park. The park is a great place for a morning jog or stroll especially during April (Azaleas), May (Roses and Irises), and June (more Roses). It's also just around the corner from Swan Lake which has resident swans, geese, and ducks as well as migratory water birds. We stayed 4 days in the Hollywood room which was quite spacious. All the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and there is a beautiful sun room up there with a fridge (complementary soda) and a spring water dispenser. Janet is a perfect hostess, friendly and charming without being overbearing. She also whips up some delicious breakfasts making use of local bakeries and fruit. I highly recommend this B&B as an alternative to sterile chain hotels both for Business and for pleasure.

We had a wonderful experience at the Inn at Woodward Park. The neighborhood is beautiful, and conveniently located to shopping, dining, etc. Our room was lovely, and very clean, with high-quality toiletries in the bathroom (origins, bath & body works, etc.) and a very comfortable bed. Janet and Mark are wonderful hosts - very attentive without being intrusive. I wish we had been able to stay longer. If we need to stay in Tulsa again, we will definitely be calling the Inn at Woodward Park!

We booked the entire inn sight-unseen to share with traveling family members for a Spring weekend event The proprietors could not have been more gracious, helpful, or respectful of our privacy. Great property run by great people.

Great package deal. Was a little noisy and our bed was not too comfortable but it was only one night. Overall enjoyed our night out.

My fiancé and I recently stayed the inn, it was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and we absolutely fell in love with it. We were there for 2 nights, and every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing stay. We had zero complaints! I have never stayed in a place so clean (and that includes many five star resorts). Can’t wait to go back!

Enjoyed our stay in the Moroccan room. Liked the jacuzzi tub, especially. The bed was a bit creaky, as another reviewer noted, which made it a little difficult to sleep. Breakfast was great. A short walk to Woodward Park and Utica Square. Will definitely consider this place on subsequent visits to Tulsa.

We appreciate the creaky bed being brought to our attention. The bed in the Moroccan Room is a very ornate 4 poster bed with a lot of parts. We took everything off the bed, gave it a good cleaning and tightened down bolts and put some screws in the bed slats. This should help our guests get a good night's sleep.

I very much enjoy staying with Mark and Janet! They offer such a welcoming, peaceful place to stay. Stylishly decorated, the rooms are all fun and filled with goodies. I have stayed in all rooms and I will continue coming back! Thank you, Mark and Janet!

I attendend a 3 day workshop in Tulsa and chose to stay at the Inn at Woodward Park instead of a hotel. I am glad I did. It was so homey and comfortable. The innkeeper was happy to fix me a low carb breakfast. It was close to restaurants and I felt safe to go for a run every morning before sitting all day in seminars.

GGreat place in town for a quick getaway with my bride. We had a lovely evening. The house is quaint and the owners a delight. The only thing negative is the floors creak throuout the house, but should be expected since it was built in 1920. Another thing is that the bed in the Morrocan room was the most comfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel or B&B! I only wish it didn't make so much creaking noise because I am fairly self conscious, if you know what I mean. I won't let that bother me however the next time we stay here.

Parking can be an issue for some but overall it was great! Janet and Mark are wonderful hosts. Thank you both!

We appreciate all feedback from our guests. The Inn is located in a historic residential area and the on site parking is limited to one car per guest room. Occasionally guests arrive in separate vehicles and are asked to park one on a near by side street. We regret this inconvenience.

We had a lovely stay, it was very very quiet. The room was perfect. We will definately be coming back. We never stay at hotels any more because of the crazy loud peope there. For a little bit more you can stay in a wonderful place like this! Close to many nice retaraunts, after which we watched a movie in our room. We really enjoyed lunch in the park across the street the next day.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lovely and comfortable inn at Woodward Park. It was the perfect location for 6 friends to meet and visit.

Gracious hosts welcome you to their lovely home. Beautifully decorated, a big leather couch and chairs flank this fireplace. This room opens to the dining room and its mural. Upstairs, the three bedrooms with large bathrooms and a sunroom are nicely furnished. It's a perfect place to relax. The location is within walking distance of many 'must see' locations. Easy driving distance to museums and the art deco downtown. The 6 of us had a perfect reunion.

Bring your camera! Located across from Woodward Park, take pictures of your friends/family and scenery. Close to shopping and great dining. The sunroom is so pleasant and relaxing. A delight to share breakfast with other interesting guests.

My daughter,sister-in-law, niece and myself, came to tulsa for a relaxing weekend, we found it in the Inn.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Its location was very convenient to all of the places I visited, it also enabled me to walk around and through Woodward Park. I recommend it to family and friends.

My husband and I have stayed at the Inn twice in the last two years. The rooms are nice and breakfast is yummy. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. (The cats are very friendly too.) The Inn is excellently located -- near Utica Square, close to the Philbrook Museum, Expo Square and downtown. Much cozier than staying in a hotel.

My husband surprised me with a B&B stay at the Inn, and it was delightful. The room, slightly small, was well-decorated, with a gorgeous tub. Staff was friendly, food great, weekend was very enjoyable.

We've now stayed with Mark & Janet twice when visiting Tulsa and have had great stays. She makes a delicious breakfast, and they are very friendly. We stayed in the Hollywood room this time & Moroccan room last time. We'll definitely be back.

This was our first time staying at a B&B and we were pleasantly surprised: beautiful, quaint, comfortable and accommodating! The host was attentive to our needs but we had the privacy we desired. I would recommend the Inn at Woodward Park to anyone!

I stayed there for the first time during a business trip this past week because it was close to the conference I was attending. Whenever I stay in Tulsa, I will not stay anywhere else. Between the excellent breakfasts in bed and their willingness to acquiesce to my many last minute requests, I can't think of a reason I'd want to.

We were guests here 8/14-16/09 for a short getaway weekend from Dallas. All our expectations were exceeded. Janet and Mark are wonderful hosts. The accommodations and meals are first rate and it was the best value we have found at a B&B anywhere (and we have stayed in many). The house is charming and very conveniently located. rest assured, you won't regret your decision to stay here while in Tulsa.

What could have been just another work trip became a mini-vacation because of my stay at the Inn at Woodward Park!

We were welcomed as if we were family. The breakfasts were great, and the hosts very helpful. Their two extended family members-Miss Kitty and Holly were especially friendly cats, and were happy to show their affection. A surprise snowfall made our trip all the more beautiful, and our hosts welcomed my son to make a snowman on their front lawn! The Inn is situated in an excellent location that makes easy access to all in Tulsa. We enjoyed the other guests and would definitely stay again!

I was in Tulsa last fall for business & found the Inn by chance. It is located in my favorite part of Tulsa. Janet & Mark are great hosts & the house is lovely. I have been back once since then & am planning another visit! I would highly recommend it.

We stayed at this great B&B during Christmas week 2008. We were welcomed warmly and treated more like family than guests. Mark and Janet have done a tremendous job putting this B&B together. They do their best to make your stay comfortable. There is fresh coffee and snacks in the upstairs sitting room and then on to the wonderful breakfasts in the dining room. We will stay there again. Our stay was very comfortable. The upstairs sunroom was delightful to have morning coffee or late night tea while enjoying interesting reads about Tulsa and the Inn itself. The bed linens were superb -- feather/down topper was great! The location could not have been better -- we walked to most sights we wanted to see and experience. We would highly recommend this B & B.
