The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The food was very good. But would have liked to have seen vegetarian/vegan options on the menu. The grounds also could have been better tended.

Excellent weekend at echo canyon. The rooms were wonderful, clean, included an array of amenities. The food was delicious and my wife and I got a very nice massage. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful. The only cons of the trip was there was a little too much John Mayer played during meals and at dinner one night we ordered dessert and waited for about half an hour and it never showed up. Next thing we know the kitchen staff was cleaning up and it was clear dinner was over and we got the cue that it was time to leave. Other than those two minor issues the trip was excellent and I will continue to recommend Echo Canyon to friends and family! Oh and the resident dogs and cats were pretty nice and cute too!

Had seen the reviews for echo canyon and I was set. Everything was great. There was only one small snag when it came to dinner but people are human and we didn't let it ruin our stay. We will certainly be going back in the future.
We are sorry that your dinner was not perfect, and we look forward to having you again.

I decided to surprise my wife this year for our anniversary and take her someplace. She wanted to stay fairly close to home and not have to travel too far just for a weekend getaway. I began researching local B&B and Resorts and came across Echo Canyon Spa Resort online. I reviewed their website forward and backwards and made reservations. A couple of weeks later I receive a call from Echo Canyon stating they had accidently double booked the room I had requested. So they offered to upgrade our room for the same price of the original room. Outstanding!!! My wife was surprised and extremely impressed with Echo Canyon as well as myself. Everything was as it was described on their website and was a truly relaxing experience. My wife and I have already discussed a future stay at Echo Canyon Spa Resort and told many of our friends and family about our wonderful experience there. So if you are looking for a great getaway without your pets and children that is close to home and truly relaxing, experience Echo Canyon Spa Resort for yourself. You will certainly not be disappointed.

The room was smaller than we expected. But it was the only one left, will plan ahead and pick a larger one next time. We didn't sleep that well, the comforter was too thick so we got hot, then the sheet was too thin so we got cold. The second night we pulled the foot tapestry up over us along with the sheet and did better. Next time we may take our own comforter. Loved the location, the people and the amenities. The Spa treatment, food and bar drinks were awesome!

We recently celebrated our 7 year anniversary and have decided this is a must do again getaway! We will be back! The food was excellent, the room was so nice and cozy and a perfect trip to get away from our busy schedules and just relax!

Echo Canyon was very nice and serene. It was very relaxing the food was excellent. The couple that owns and runs the place we're very nice and respectable. The staff was great also. All and all we loved it.

We chose to celebrate our Anniversary again this year at Echo Canyon. Once again, we were not disapponted! While last year we stayed in one of the suites (wonderful), this year we stayed in Lady Jane's Cottage. Wow - definitely worth the splurge. Full kitchen, huge room, 60 inch TV (great for watching a little football), and, of course, a large hot tub. We ate dinner at the Inn on Friday night. Great meal as well. Two course breakfasts were delicious. We had a wonderful time and will certainly return. Highly recommend!

Our first time to visit Echo Canyon, but it will definitely not be our last! Quiet, peaceful setting with beautiful surroundings. Owners and staff are friendly and courteous. Food is unbelievable! Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. The room was comfortable, clean, and much nicer than any typical hotel room. The staff was incredibly friendly and bent over backwards to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The location is great, right next to hiking trails, and short drive to ziplines, horseback riding, and other outdoor activities if you're into those. The spa was top notch, and the massages felt amazing. Breakfast was phenomenal, and dinner was perfectly cooked. They were booked solid the weekend we went, but it still felt very private, and the staff made us feel like we were their priority. We had a great time and I highly recommend it.

When we arrived we were given a tour of the place, it was wonderful, much nicer and private than the pictures do justice. The room was larger than we expected and the tub was nice! The shower was really too small for two people due to the "seat" in it, so the shower was basic. The bed was extremely comfortable, as was the pillows and blanket. Tons of lighting in the room and the ability to adjust it all to your mood by the flip of a few switches. The spa was awesome, got a nice couples massage that we wished would not end! The food was terrific! And there was so much of it! It was worth every penny! Breakfast was also very good, plenty of food and very good as well, I wish they had served their fruit juice/champagne with breakfast however.

Had a wonderful second trip to Echo Canyon. The room was immaculate and we especially enjoyed the hot tub. The meal was awesome with a variety of meats to enjoy. We look forward to a third trip! Darrell & Mary Sue Ard

My wife found this place while looking for a get-away for us. It's located right on the edge of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. The room had a great private balcony where you can watch the deer in the morning and evening. The dinner was outstanding for the quality, freshness, and preparation. It's family-owned/operated, and the service is excellent. The room was very clean, comfortable, and ours have the large Jacuzzi tub. Spa staff was very professional. Unfortunately, we got in very late for our first night, but the staff perfectly accommodated us to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

We had a very relaxing time. Our trip here was to celebrate our 6th anniversary. We reside in OKC and were looking for someplace not too far away. The room was spacious, clean, & welcoming. We especially enjoyed soaking in our own private jacuzzi tub in our room. The additional packages made our stay special. We chose chocolate covered strawberries & wine as a package it was such a great treat. I'd further recommend the spa where we received massages. To top off our experience the dining was to die for!! The steak was so tender, ambiance was spot on with the special touch if the waitstaff. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing, pampered stay. Unfortunately our stay was short so we didn't get to enjoy all the B&B had to offer such as the in site outdoor pool, community hot tub, or getting to walk the orchard. I do believe we will be repeat customers. Thank you, Echo Canyon, for a wonderful stay!!!

I took my mom here on a birthday getaway. The staff was friendly, the room was beautiful, and the spa was amazing! I ordered chocolate covered strawberries, and they arrived freshly hand dipped. Those were the best ones we have ever eaten and very reasonably priced. The double jacuzzi in our room was heavenly. Best getaway resort we've ever been to. We will be sure to come back from now on!

Even though the resort was completely full, it was quiet and serene. It's just a very relaxing place to stay and well worth the money. Excellent getaway for a special occasion or just for something different for a date night. We will definitely return for another visit soon!

We stayed at Echo Canyon in the East Cottage for our 10th wedding anniversary. It more than met our expectations. The room was gorgeous. The place itself was beautiful and felt secluded and romantic. The dinner and breakfasts were absolutely amazing and the waitstaff was so friendly and fun. The Spa staff were very friendly and accomodating. This was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be going back!

We loved the peace and quiet that the property provided. The fresh, homemade fruit spreads were delicious during breakfast. We stayed in a first floor room, like any building with multiple floors, we could hear every move the people above us were making. Thankfully they were quiet after 11 pm. Beautiful rooms furnished with lovely antiques, the pictures on the website do not do the rooms justice.

We stayed in the Lady Jane's cottage and it was very private and the room was perfect. This would be perfect for a couple that wants total privacy and exclusion. There is a private patio with a tall fence around it. The only negative is that there is no view from patio. But if you want privacy then it's perfect. It is away from the main accommodations so if you need to be closer for dining or spa or pool, keep that in mind. We loved it and needed the getaway. The food and service were phenomenal. Don't miss out on that!

I took my mom to Echo Canyon based on rave reviews I'd read and also after hearing about it from a friend of a friend. We were looking for some quiet, relaxing time to hang out. Echo Canyon provided. If you're aren't familiar with or cannot appreciate a small town or the nature surrounding Echo Canyon, then it may not be your cup of tea. For us, I grew up on two acres in "the country" as I called it, and I felt like I was back. The acreage was filled with fruit trees and pine trees, and we didn't even take time to walk through them because we spent the day being pampered. It was quiet and serene. Even the dogs that live at Echo Canyon were laid back (We only saw 2 of the 3--both sweet, both well-mannered.) Our room was huge. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. We stayed in Kathryn's Kastle. It was gorgeous!! The beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling. We did the Majical Spa Day, so lunch was included. Everything served had a gourmet touch. The best part of the dining was dinner. As everyone else has said, it is amazing. Duck breast, filet mignon, and peppercorn crusted halibut along with garlic bread (and amazing basil pesto), salad, asparagus, and a twice baked potato leaves you without room for the amazing dessert (cheesecake or chocolate mousse). A stay at Echo Canyon isn't complete without their awesome staff. It really is like staying at home as far as comfort. Service is impeccable, and everyone is beyond friendly. The massage, body wrap, salt scrub, and facial were amazing!!! I recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet, serene, spa getaway with the potential for exploring nature.

Great place for a romantic getaway. Hang out at the bar with Joe and visit with the other quests, pamper your self with a couples massage or tour the countryside when you aren't ensconced in one of their charming rooms. Both breakfast (spinach frittata ROCKS) and dinner (the filet melted in y mouth) was a treat as well with attentive staff, a view of the valley and adequate wine list. All that was missing was a glass of port !

I found Echo Canyon while looking online for somewhere to stay for a weekend getaway. I read the reviews and was impressed at all the positive comments. We did not eat dinner at the resort, but the breakfast was fantastic. The staff was very attentive and we indulged in massages and the massage therapist did a great job. Our room was HUGE and had all the comforts we could have asked for. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I imagine it's a pretty view from the balcony when the trees are in bloom. Driving up to the resort I would not have imagined it would be as nice as it was. And we were very impressed that the owners built the resort ground-up on old cattle land. Highly recommended!

You may think that the rooms are "pricey", but once you get there & see the rooms. Enjoy the ambience from your private balcony, the Spa & Treatments, the Lounge, meet the very pleasant owners & staff, have breakfast (which is included) & purchase the dinner $55/pp for a four course meal...You will realize that the "Price is Right" !!! Friday night we had Halibut, Duck & Steak with fresh Veggies as an entree. Saturday we had Kobe Beef...which was a $20 surcharge, but well worth it. They serve you a Hibiscus Juice & Champagne throughout the meal. They make the juice fresh daily. The Grandmother that lives on the property, bakes the Cheesecakes fresh daily for dessert. We will return!!!

The food was beyond outstanding! The room was really clean and pretty, but the water pressure in the shower was terrible in our room. The price of the room is a bit overpriced. We had a message and that was really nice. The staff and service was really good and the owners were really nice. I'm not sure I would classify the place as a resort, but it definitely was a peaceful place to go and reconnect. It was our first experience at a bed and breakfast and we really enjoyed it. I think we will try other BB before giving this one another try.

We were needing to get away for a few days and Echo Canyon Spa Resort offered a great opportunity to get away from the City, but still be relatively close to home. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful every morning. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Will definitely be making a return trip.
4.8 on March 23, 2014
We were very comfortable. Plenty of privacy that you don't always get at a B&B. Loved the hot tubs in the room. The couples massage we got was very relaxing and professional. Wish we could have stayed longer.
5 on March 23, 2014
Had a great time. The room was beautiful and spacious. Dinner was out of the world--filet mignon, duck, and haddock as well as potato, veggies and bread. Dessert was super. The next morning breakfast was just as good.

We stayed at Echo Canyon this past weekend, during a downpour followed by cold North wind. We didn't get to spend much time hiking , but our goal was mostly to lie back and relax. The staff was uncommonly helpful and scrupulously polite. We had a lovely little room overlooking the back of the main house. The decor was a pleasant mash of antiques and modern art, but all the amenities were up to date. Our building was very new, very well insulated and had a beautiful cedar ceiling. We signed up for dinner, which is an elaborate affair served in the main house. We were given a wonderful Hibiscus juice punch with champagne, followed by a really nice salad with watermelon chunks and a wonderful house dressing. They plied us with excellent garlic bread and refills until the main courses came. We had grilled steak, roast duck and Halibut, with a twice-baked potato. It was all heavenly, My wife was more restrained, but I spent the rest of the evening a little uncomfortably stuffed. It was all so good! We didn't try any of the spa services, which must have been amazing given the prices. The food was outstanding, however, both at dinner and at breakfast the next day. The things we wished for were: - more outlets (a power strip would have been nice, for our chargers) - more space (our antique four-poster fairly filled the room) - a lid on the toilet (to set things on while bathing) - instructions on the puzzling shower nozzle (you pull it down at the spout to get it to shower) - More towels already in the room I wish we could have stayed another day. Our one night cost 180, plus another 120 for dinner for two. Everything else was inclusive. One could easily spend that much staying at a middling hotel and eating at a local steakhouse, without half the pleasure. We will certainly go again.
5 on March 10, 2014
A wonderful treasure to be had in this B&B. from the views, to the rooms and cottages, the spa and restaurant Echo Canyon has made my short list of repeat places to go for a getaway weekend. Every detail was perfect. The cottage we stayed in was private and spotless along with being very comfortable. A day at the spa was what we needed. And dinner was wonderful. I'm running out of adjectives, so I'd advise you to go on your own and experience this treasure.

Echo Canyon is a quaint getaway. The staff is very courteous and facility is very clean. The bed was very comfortable and helped for a great couple of night's sleep. Although the food was delicious, the presentation and quantity were a bit odd. Breakfast was the same both mornings on the weekend, which I found odd considering it wasn't a continental presentation. They provide an abundance of food, so it seems like they could provide more of a few options allowing them to provide more variety. The same goes for dinner. We sat down and were asked how we would like our filet cooked. When dinner actually came, there was a 9oz filet minion, a duck breast, a piece of Alaskan halibut, a double baked potato, and finally some sprigs of asparagus. I would have been happy with the filet, potato, and asparagus. Perhaps the next night they could do halibut. Again sacrifice quantity for variety. The rooms were pleasant, but over decorated. Our room was full of furniture that really couldn't be used. It made it seem crowded. I hope this review does not off negative because it was a very nice stay, we were just thrown by the food situation. I will recommend this place highly.

We have stayed at Echo Canyon several times over the last couple of years. We chose this bed & breakfast to spend the first few nights of our honeymoon based on a friend's recommendation. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised! This place far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Carriage House west and the room was beautiful, very large, romantic, and absolutely perfect. Words cannot describe the food, it was simply incredible. After dinner we went to the bar for a night cap and ended up in a two hour conversation with Joe and Carol, the owners. They treated us like family. We did not want to leave, neither will you!
3.0 on February 19, 2014
The spa was extremely expensive and the quality of massage was poor so the value was definitely not worth it. The room and view was amazing but for the price we could find a lot of other options of equal or better quality. The owners are very nice.
4.6 on February 03, 2014
Immediately after arrival we were treated with the utmost of hospitality. The owners were always doing their best to accommodate our every need, following through on arrangements, and ensuring that our stay is the best it can be. The above and beyond customer service and quality were the cornerstones of our weekend. If it is within the realm of possibilities the proprietors will make it happen.

I took my wife here for our 23rd Wedding Anniversary. We stayed in a private cottage. What an incredible stay. They even arranged to put a dozen roses for me on our table ahead of time the night we dined there. Their breakfast was so filling, that we didn't eat again until our late dinner. The dinner was so filling that we saved half for another night. The food was incredible, easily one of, if not the best meal we have ever had. The spa services were awesome and hanging out at their full bar was a blast. We highly recommend this to anyone that wants to get away and be absolutely spoiled. The staff was friendly and new us by name immediately. We will be back. Thank you for the wonderful anniversary!!!! Richard & Debbie Anderson

We heard wonderful things about Echo Canyon, in particular the wonderful cuisine, so we knew we had to check it out. We arrived around 2:30 on a Saturday, and we were greeted by one of Echo's staff members (Michael, I believe) who took us on a tour of the grounds. He was very kind and knowledgeable and made us feel at home. After a short detour at the new Artesian Casino in Sulphur, we returned to Echo for dinner. The dinner was nothing short of awesome - the wait staff was very informative about each course, was very attentive to our needs (for example, they asked us how we'd like our filet mignon prepared, and then when it was delivered, the staff made sure it was cooked to our liking). Another little unexpected treat we received was the tasty peach hibiscus drink with a splash of champagne. Wonderful and unique, for sure! After the main course, which was divine, we chose between two desserts, both of which were fabulous. Honestly, I can't say enough about the food. Delicious. When we retreated to our rooms (after enjoying the nice patio that the Merlot room offers), we slept on the most comfortable bed ever. Loved that! I loved that our room was extra dark, too, so the morning light didn't affect our sleep schedule! :) All in all, we had an awesome time at Echo Canyon - would absolutely 100% recommend it to anyone. We will definitely be staying there again! -Allison C.

My husband and I went here for our 4th anniversary and it was better than some of the resorts we have been to in other countries! I loved our modern room in the carriage house with the large jacuzzi with lights! Huge TV, comfy bed and pillows, and modern bathroom. They even had a ping pong table on the front porch of the main house and we loved that! The food was some of the best I have ever had and definitely worth it! Great service, friendly people, secluded location. We will be back!

We can not say enough good things about our stay. It was so relaxing and we were taken care of like a King and Queen. Joe and Carol were so sweet and caring. The rooms were very very nice and the food was some of the best we have had anywhere. My husband said he would never eat duck, but it was on dinner one night and it was superb. Our trip was cut short due to the loss of my mother and Joe called to check on us later that day after we left. We are ready to come back soon maybe in the fall as there many things to do in the Sulphur area....

We found the visit restful and renewing. The room was quiet, comfortable, completely secluded from traffic. Staff very accommodating and pleasant, therapists excellent. The food was outstanding. If there was a downside, it was that the pool was closed.

Stayed for two nights to celebrate our anniversary. Can be a little pricey but when you get there, you will realize that it's worth every penny. Charming staff, comfortsble lodging and excellent food in a secluded and relaxing environment. We will be returning in the future.

My husband and I decided we need a quick three day vacation. We wanted something close, and google found us the perfect spot. It only took us three hours before we arrived at Echo Canyon; We arrived and was immediately showed the around the grounds, as well as to our rooms. Our room had an in-room spa tub that was large enough for myself and my husband (he's 6'4"). The kind size bed was spacious enough that we only took up a quarter of the bed. The best part of our room was the balcony overlooking the canyon. For dinner, we partook in some of the best food we've ever had. My husband and I frequent great steakhouse all around Texas, but the kobe steak shadowed all in comparison. The food was sooooo exquisite, it was 'jump up and down in your seat screaming' good. It there weren't other people around, I'm sure I would have followed suit. The dining experience did not end there. Every morning we had breakfast, they provided a buffet of food that left us full all day. We had thought we were going to try the local restaurants, but decided to have every meal at the resort. Last but surely not least, my husband and I indulged in their spa. We decided on couples massages, followed by facials, and I myself finish off with a body wrap. The body wrap was so amazing, I actually fell asleep! Carol suggested local adventures for my husband and I to share together. We went horseback riding at a local ranch, explored the local Indian cultural center, and hiked through the national forest it was located in. My husband and I deeply enjoyed our time together there. With only a three hour drive there, we will most assuredly venture back.

Kudos to Joe and Carol..you have an awesome retreat! The staff was amazing and treated us very well. Special thanks to Kathy for treating us so well and for making sure i had my coffee!! The food and the spa were wonderful! My only disappointment was that the pool was not open and that's no fault of the owners. Will def be coming back hopefully for a relaxing time with my husband.

I have stayed at Echo Canyon twice and both times was fantastic. Purpose of trips were just a short girl's weekend and I have come back home feeling pampered and relaxed. Spa services excellent and food is exceptional. I plan on returning again and again!

The room was grand but when looking at the picture I just thought the beds would be more comfortable. A little hard for me but my husband loved them. The food was great and the services is outstanding. I would recommend this as a great place for an event.

My husband and I went to Echo Canyon to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and we're very glad we did. The room was gorgeous (Chardonnay Chalet) with an antique carved 4-poster bed, 2 person Jacuzzi, and patio with rocking chairs. Deer could be seen from the back porch. The Van Horn's and other staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and never failed to ask if there was anything else we needed. The Chickasaw Cultural Center is nearby and worth visiting, the GW Animal Park and Winstar aren't too far to drive either. We enjoyed both of those. The food was wonderful with filet mignon, duck, halibut and shrimp scampi. Our anniversary was memorable and we will definitely be going back.

A wonderful stay in the peaceful hills of eastern Oklahoma. The accommodations were charming, the spa treatments relaxing, and the food exceptional. My daughter and I did our annual mother-daughter getaway here, and are already planning to return; as are my husband and I. There are wonderful hiking and biking trails here as well as lots of wildlife. The Van Horns have created a wonderful little paradise.

First ever visit to a B&B and it certainly won't be the last. The staff were so pleasant and genuinely helpful, so unlike staying in a hotel. The room was exquisite, a wonderful combination of antique and modern, very comfortable. Setting being so close to the park and hiking trails was perfect. Food was tremendous, skillfully prepared, presented and served. All told we had a marvelous weekend.

Who would have known that such a beautiful B & B was located in Sulphur Ok! The property is absolutely beautiful and with the spa, bar and kitchen right on site we couldnt ask for anything more. Absolutely loved it and all of the help were fabulous!

We spent two days and one night here for our "babymoon". The grounds are tucked away in a wooded area just outside a national park. So it's secluded But only minutes away from several towns. The rooms are each individually decorated and both elegant and comfortable. Great view from the balcony. The food was scrumptious and there was plenty of it. The seating was cozy and gave hs a great view of a variety of birds feeding on ghe balcony. We had a couples massage, a first for both of us. It was very relaxing. My wife had a prenatal one. Our only regrets were having to leave; better preparations for the trip; and not being able to go back anytime soon. Thanks to the staff, we had a carefree weekend.

For someone living in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area looking for a unique experience without having to get on an airplane or drive more than 2 hours, you can't beat Echo Canyon Spa Resort. The owners, Joe & Carol Van Horn were incredibly accommodating. For someone who has stayed at many bed & breakfasts and many luxury resorts/hotels, I am rating Echo Canyon among the top. The wonderful exception for Echo Canyon is that it is in a peaceful canyon overlooking the small Arbuckle Mtns. From the large deck of our exquisitely decorated room, there were no cars to be heard, no airplanes, no flurry of people talking, only nature at its best (a large variety of birds, turkey, deer, flowers, a large variety of trees and the landscaping around the property was superb - water garden fountains, etc.). The food was some of the best I have had anywhere and I have eaten at the finest restaurants in this Country. I also can't say enough about the Spa. I have had 100s of massages at luxury resorts and numerous other facilities. I am not exaggerating when I say this was one of my top 3 massages of my lifetime. If you are looking for a wonderfully relaxing getaway from the world Echo Canyon can't be beat!

4.8 on April 04, 2013
Our three day stay over Easter was fantastic - from watching the wild turkeys to the (very) laid back outdoor dogs this is a place to relax and kick back - on top of that the food is outstanding - probably the best in Oklahoma. A bit pricey, but it does deliver very good value for the money.
3.4 on March 26, 2013
We had a very nice stay at the B&B. The accommodations were very nice and we made to feel very welcome. The dinner was way too much food and I wish it had been smaller for a lesser price. We wasted so much. It was very good, just too much. Breakfast was just so-so, not nearly as good as the dinner.

Echo Canyon Spa Resort is our new favorite place on Earth! We stayed two nights in "Chilton's Hideaway". The room was beautiful and immaculately clean. Carol made us feel right at home upon our arrival showing us around and explaining everything. Our couple's massage was AMAZING! My husbabd even said he is now a "spa kind of guy". We had dinner both nights and breakfast both mornings and the food was phenomanal! Dinner was super elegant, yet the atmosphere is so relaxed and fun.The triple entree of steak, duck and halibut was seriously to die for! Breakfast consisted of two plates that are not your regular "continental breakfast" that most places serve.I had a chocolate banana pancake that I have been craving since we left. The views from the patios and the dining room are breathtaking and serene. My husband and I went to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary, and we have decided to make it back every year! Thank you for making our anniversay so AMAZING! Shawna Vessey

We have stayed at Echo Canyon Spa Resort several times and it is wonderful. On two special occasions we had seventeen people and they did an amazing job. The food was served hot and delicious and we appreciated the extra effort to accommodate a food allergy issue. Very high quality exceptional experience overlooking a canyon of wild turkey and deer. Can't wait to go back.

Breakfast on Saturday morning was equally as good. On Saturday, we went to the spa for a massage (me) and body wrap (wife), both were great. The staff in the restaurant and the spa were courteous and helpful. Great place to getaway and relax. Thanks

My wife and I are making it a tradition to celebrate our anniversary at this wonderful get-a-way, we always come home refreshed after such a quiet relaxing stay at what we feel is the absolute best resort we've ever stayed at. We will likely not be waiting till our 28th anniversary though cause we are already wishing we could go back. Love everything about this wonderful place!

Beautiful place to spend a night or two. They have a full service spa, we took advantage of the facility and had a couples massage. It was fantastic worth every penny. The property is beautifully nestled in fruit orchards and the rooms have an excellent view of a wooded wonderland full of birds. The rooms are more beautiful in person. I highly recommend you make plans to stay here.

We enjoyed Joe and Carol's hospitality last week and are ready to go back! For three nights, we rested in total comfort and quiet. Carol's two part breakfast is overwhelming in it's quality and quantity and is the perfect way to start your day. Then go straight to the spa and let the professionals sooth your aching muscles. There's a lot to do that's very close to Echo Canyon: stroll or hike in the park, check out the quaint shops and antiques in town or lose your money at the casinos...or like us, kick back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It's important to be hungry for dinner because Joe will present a feast for all the senses. He and Carol go above and beyond to make your stay special. If you enjoy culinary and sensual luxury surrounded by nature only God could create, go to Echo Canyon Spa Resort. You won't be disappointed!

When we arrived we were greeted like VIP and shown to our room which was prepared with mood music and scented candles. We especially enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi which used a special mineral water. Included in the stay was a delicious breakfast which consisted of a choice of waffles or French toast and a sampler platter, complete with a variety of homemade fruit sauces. We also opted for the candlelight dinner which was not necessarily romantic as there were several other couples dining but was still wonderful!

The rooms were really nice. Huge comfy bed with jacuzzi in the room. The view was decent as well. I thought the pool might be open but it was closed. The spa and bar area were great with lots of TVs. The breakfast food was fantastic and there was a lot of it. Breakfast times were great too because the kitchen was open til 11 am so we didn't have to get up early to make it to breakfast like you do at some places. They also had lots of snacks and drinks that were free anytime during the day or night. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. The only downside was that the website stated a different room price than what they asked us to pay. We paid a lot more than we thought it was going to cost. Just make sure you confirm the price by phone beforehand.

I would recommend anyone looking for a romantic and relaxing bed and breakfast visit Echo Canyon Spa Resort

Echo Canyon is beyond outstanding! The room was far better than even the pictures online showed. The entire resort was so clean and well maintained. The entire staff was friendly and outgoing. The food was divine! I had my first "real" massage while there. It was wonderful even with the horrific sun burn I got that same morning. Definitely want to go back there!
5 on August 20, 2012
When we arrived we were met by Carol, one of the owners. She made us feel very welcome and at home while showing us around. Our room was the Cabernet Castle. We had a nice view of the canyon and got to see several humming birds chasing each other around. For supper we were served peach champagne, Prime Filet Mignon, Roasted Duck, Alaskan Halibut with a stuffed potato. I truly cannot describe how wonderful this food was, 5 stars does not do it justice. My mouth starts watering every time I think about it. You also had a choice of Prime New York or Kobe Beef cut. Both I heard were fabulous. Our plates were clean except for the potato skins. Our desert was cheese cake and Chocolate Mousse. Awesome! After supper we headed to the bar. We had a wonderful evening visiting with the owners Joe and Carol. If you’re a wine drinker Joe has some of the best wines. I’m a scotch whiskey kind of guy and he brought out some whiskey called Knob Creek, 7 years aged, wow nice! Our room was very cozy and the bed sheets very soft. Breakfast was the best ever. The first course was a choice of a waffle, blueberry pancakes, or French toast. My wife had the waffle which looked like a wheat waffle with a hint of nuts in it. I went for the French toast. The second plate was fluffy scrambled eggs, spicy scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, turkey bacon, and a crispy biscuit covered with scrumptious gravy. Wow I’m starving again. My wife and I had hour long massages, we didn’t want to leave! Even though the pool was not open everything else about our stay was wonderful and we plan on making this a yearly get away for just the two of us.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of everything at Echo Canyon....it is very well maintained. Joe and Carol are excellent hosts, and attend to every want or need with a friendly smile. I would not hesitate to return for another visit or recommend them to anyone. We really enjoyed our stay!

Room and outdoor setting was beautiful. Fresh fruit growing in orchard was a bonus. Wish they had more menu options especially vegetarian options. Staff was friendly and massages were great. Great place overall. Would definitely visit again if menu options were available.

Joe and Carol have the most outstanding resort and spa I have ever stayed in. Facilities, service, food, atmosphere, character of the furnishing, and beautiful gardens of fruits were totally enjoyable. We totally relaxed and enjoyed ourselves during our stay. We intend to return again and again to this jewel in the Arbuckle Mountains. Thanks Joe and Carol, you were wonderful hosts.

My Husband and I have been looking for a weekend getaway that we can visit several times a year, well we found it and are so excited. Our stay at Echo Canyon Spa Resort was so wonderful and relazing and the spa treatment was out of this world. Let's talk about the room we stayed in: we had so much room it was decorated with beautiful furniture and the bed was soooo soft I loved it, We also had a private balacony which makes it perfect to sit back and watch the stars. Now let's talk food, we decided to have dinner in their dinning room, needless to say my husband and I did not leave hungry. The quality was awesome and the staff was so friendly. Joe and Carol and the rest of the staff really make you feel welcome. We can't wait until our next trip. So, if you need a romantic or maybe a girls weekend getaway this is the perfect place for you.

My sister-in-law and I came for the weekend in March. It was wonderful! We seriously had a great time. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. We like the personal note to us in the bathroom about supplies left for us. Everyone that works there were so nice and friendly. Actually, even the other guests were very friendly and we got to meet some new people. It was great. Then there was Autumn! Who we both loved...she is so adorable. Coming from alot of animals of my own...it was nice to have some there. Don't want to forget the kitty outside the door too. The animals being there was a special part for me. I did not ever get any of those wonderful chocolate covered strawberries, but I will try again next time. Thanks for a great weekend! Rhonda Finn and Leonda Finn

My wife and I have stayed at many B&B over the years and I would put Echo Canyon right at the top. From the wonderful gourmet dinner the night we arrived to the charming and very large rooms, beautiful views, to the luxurious spa to the excellent breakfast, we had a wonderful time and I would heartily recommend this to everyone. JM

I had the best dinner I've ever eaten at Echo Canyon. The owners have seemingly thought of everything to enhance romance. Even the animal feeding area visible from the dining room had corn kernels dispersed in the shape of a heart! The room we had was monstrous, and the Jacuzzi was delightful. If you like mirrors in the room you will be very satisfied. The staff treats you like royalty. The location, nearly adjacent to the only national park in Oklahoma, is wonderful since you can enjoy the park. This place is pricey if you take advantage of all the amenities, but I doubt you can find a more romantic locale.

It is a beautiful place. We enjoyed watching the deer & birds on our back deck. The meal was fabulous, I enjoyed all the home made jams & everything about it. We want to bring our friends and relatives when we come back. We have bragged about the hospitalities and warm and friendly people. We can't wait to schedule another trip. It was the perfect place for our anniversary.

We went for our second anniversary and just stayed one night. We really enjoyed the large room and the food was amazing! Since it was a Tuesday night in December we were the only one there, so we were given choice of rooms. At dinner we had a personal shef who absolutely was amazing! We were able to take our leftovers to our room for lunch the next day, but first we had a great big breakfast in our room! Check out was at 11 but they let us stay as long as we wanted. But we had to get home to our baby. A great stay!

Highly reccommend staying here!

Last year we spent a little over $100 for a room and it had a hot tub in it. This year, we spent about $135 for a room and it was smaller with no hot tub. The room was still nice but was a bit disappointed with what we got. The service, food and atmosphere are great. Also like the fact that the resort is gated.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. The room was excellent and the view from our room exceeded my expectations. The owners are very friendly and helpful and we got the idea that we could access the staff and amenities 24 hours a day. Breakfast was included and was a multiple course offering and while supper was extra, I can't remember the last time I had food as fine (and plentiful) as this.

Echo Canyon is a Wonderful place to get away from the hussle and noise of the everyday rat race. I would recommend this piece of heaven to anyone wanting to get away our for special occasions. I can't wait for my next opportunity to run away to Echo Canyon and the Arbuckles.

This place was beautiful, romantic, relaxing, friendly, charming -- I could go on and on! We stayed in the room called "First Mate" - it was smaller than we would have liked but it is what we expected. Since this room was right next to the kitchen, it was loud in the evening and morning as they prepared dinner and breakfast. Shower in this room was too small. But the other rooms on the property are spacious and would be very quiet. Food was absolutely delicious. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Very homey atmosphere but yet you felt secluded and private if you didn't want to be bothered. We would love to come back again!
5 on October 27, 2011
We were welcomed into the gates of Echo Canyon Spa Resort like family and treated that way throughout our visit. The grounds and rooms were impeccably maintained with extreme attention to detail. The food was of the best quality and awesomely prepared. The service was exceptional. We don't use the term "perfect" too often, but it seems to be the only word that applies here. We will be back - and soon, we hope!

Lovely location. Expensive for a weekend, but worth it for a special event. Meals are served, and are lavish.
5 on October 12, 2011
We were greeted by one of the owners in the parking area as we drove in and then escorted into the main part of the facility. We had been there a couple of years before, so welcomed the refresher on times of breakfast and dinner. Owner escorted us to our room and made sure we didn't have any questions or concerns before letting us settle in. The massage was great as well as the foot massage the following day. Food was absolutely fantastic and service was excellent. My husband and I felt pampered all weekend. We left on Sunday feeling refreshed and renewed. I would highly recommend Echo Canyon Spa as a great "weekend getaway"!!!!

I decided to get away for a weekend hiking trip. My options were to either stay in a cabin or fill the weekend trip with a relaxing stay and a clean and nice resort style feeling. After reviewing all of my options, I thought that this was the best choice. The Echo Canyon Spa Resort surpassed my expectations. The owners were the nicest couple that you would ever meet. They were warm and friendly and really took great care of my needs. I love drinking coffee and reading in the morning and was surprised by the thoughtfulness of the staff that served me coffee as I sat in a rocking chair on the common patio. Before breakfast, there were deer that grazed in the field and redbirds in the trees which made for wonderful outdoor scenery. The atmosphere is second to none and the food also shares this same status. I really look forward to my next stay, hopefully real soon. Thanks so much for the a wonderful stay. Sincerely Melissa.

We went to Echo Canyon to celebrate our anniversary. The resort was very nice and comfortable. We dined there in the restaurant for dinner and it was wonderful. Kudos to the chef. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast that was included was fabulous. The only thing of concern was that the price seemed a little high. I don't know how this price compares to others so it may not be high and may be in line with others. I would still recommend it to anyone that asks. We had a wonderful time. Just can't do it often enough at that price.

We will definitely be going back. The atmosphere was very romantic and relaxing. The room was nice with all the amenities. The food was delicious, both breakfast and dinner. The hot stone message was divine. We can't say enough good and top that off with the fact that it is located on the edge of the Chickasaw National Park. We will be recommending it to all of our friends!

It did the trick while meeting some constraints I had - needed a getaway atmosphere within short driving distance from Oklahoma City, slow us down, and relax us. They worked to make a good vegetarian meal even though it wasn't on their menu, and it exceeded expectations. I will not tell you how fabulous the decor is or about the peach hibiscus tea, which have already been extolled in other reviews. My suggestion is to really enjoy everything they've laid out for you. They even have a fly swatter in you room for the occassional fly that would slip in if you left the patio door open. I bet, when they have the pool ready, it will complete the experience. The spa was slightly below my wife's expecations - she's used to dimmer lighting and non-vocal music in the background.

We went to Echo Canyon for our 20th anniversary. Our suite was luxurious, the food was superb, and the spa treatments were to die for. A beautiful, peaceful, restoring place! We will definitely be back!

Echo Canyon is absolutely nothing like your normal B & B. It was luxurious, peaceful, private and we felt as if we were completely secluded from the world. Everyone who worked there seemed to take ownership and provided excellent service. Our dinner was absolutely beyond our expectations and look forward to coming there again! Although the place was expensive, the overall experience was well worth the money. What a place to celebrate our anniversary!

The Van Horn's have a wonderful place! They know how to make your stay stress free and relaxing. We didn't utilize the spa, only because we had other plans to site see around the area. The breakfast and dinner was beyond amazing! We arrived on a weekday and was upgraded to a king size suite at no extra charge! My husband and i plan to return!

This was a such a cozy and comfortable place to stay. It was so quiet and relaxing, ther perfect getway for us. The room was spectacular with antique furnishings and a luxurious bed and wonderful whirpool tub for two! The view from our room was serene and beautiful. The thing I loved the most about it was the privacy, even tho there are several rooms, when you're on that balcony, all you see is the view. We had a couples massage in the Aloha Spa, nothing short of wonderful! We also had dinner in the Baron of Beef retaurant; the filet mignon melted in my mouth and the made from scratch cheesecakse was quite possibly the best I ever had! To Die For! The VanHorns were very gracious hosts, making our comfort and relaxation priority #1. We will definately be visiting again, we may even make this an anniversary tradition from now on.

We were very impressed with the facilities at this B&B! The food was wonderful and the bed the most comfortable I have ever slept in away from home. We plan to go back and this time use the spa facility! The only complaint we have, and this was not the owners' fault, was that the hot tub outside quit working at the time we reserved it. Other people had it later. My 94 yr. old grandmother has lived with us for 3 months and we really needed a break! The hot tub was one of the things we were really looking forward to. I think as a goodwill gesture, the owners could have maybe given a small credit on our bill.

Joe and Carol at Echo Canyon have a beautiful property. Better still are the accomodations and the outstanding service. I greatly enjoyed hanging out with them and had the best nights sleep I have ever had away from home. Then, in the morning, I was given an outstanding breakfast, complete with home made jams and a mouthwatering fritata. I would highly recomend them if you happen to be in the Sulphur area.

We decided to stay at Echo Canyon based on the reviews posted. Even with the high ratings I didn't expect it to be that exceptional - I was wrong! It is an amazing place to stay - Carol, Joe and the rest of the staff are the consummate hosts. The room we stayed in was huge and had a mineral water jacuzzi tub (you won't believe how soft your skin will be), small coffee maker with plenty of coffee (more coffee downstairs if you run out), mini fridge, comfortable bed and sitting area. Don't miss dinner (unless you don't eat meat)! It's one of the most delicious meals we've eaten. Then before you know it, it's time for Carol's incredible breakfast. The spa is gorgeous - massage was great. Can't wait to return!

The best place I have found to spend a nice romantic get away that exceeds all of your expectations. the staff is very accomadating, the food is five star, and the breakfast is the best way to start your day individualy prepared for you, Dinner is without a doubt an experiance any gourmand would enjoy. All in all well worth the trip My wife and I have been back three times and will go again!!!

The most peaceful respite we have had, EVER! Joe and Carol are the greatest; and the rest of the staff, above reproach! We had to want for nothing! What a great place to celebrate any occasion or just life! Everyone and everything made our stay well worth the cost. We will be back, probably in the Fall. Thanks for a wonderful place to get away from it all, if only for a couple of days. The Caseys

This is a beautiful, relaxing property. The owners have taken care to specially pipe in local mineral waters to the in-room jacuzzis, which is a neat touch. The rooms and balconies are beautiful and as expected for the price. The wine list is excellent and the dining is 4 star and both are priced accordingly. Breakfast was fabulous, relatively healthy and featuring jams and spreads from their own orchard. Lovely spa and bar in separate building. Owners and staff were fun, talkative and accomodating. Almost inside the Chickasaw National Recreation Area and not far from Turner Falls for great hiking and outdoor activities.

Echo Canyon is comprised of two buildings with rooms of varying size and price. Our room was furnished with some very nice antique furniture including a massive and comfy bed with ornate frame. The ceiling was wood paneled giving the fairly modern construction room that cabin feel. The room also had a jacuzzi tub (apart from the sizable restroom with shower and separate toilet closet). There is also a small fridge and coffee maker. Over in the main building the kitchen is always open with a fridge filled with drinks and some snacks too. A nice size flat screen TV completed the room (and gave me something to do while the wife was at the spa). The room also has a balcony where you can sit facing Echo Canyon. Our room was the Merlot room, by the way. We reserved a table at the resort for dinner as well as reserved a spot for the jacuzzi. There is one located just outside the main building. It is a five or six person one that is in one of those buildings made for jacuzzis. Did I mention their water supply is mineral water? That is the way the whole area is. We spent the thirty minutes in the jacuzzi then out for dinner. The food was excellent. The salad was top notch with a dressing that compliments everything so nicely. I got three main courses: duck, fillet mignon, and shrimp scampi. My wife got flounder. Everything was cooked perfect and tasted fantastic. In the morning we ate breakfast (which is included in the price of the stay). As with everything else is was really good. We took our time and checked out just before 11AM. Overall I was very satisfied with our stay at Echo Canyon. My wife says she really want to go again.

We have all decided to do this again soon! The Spa Divas

Absolutely wonderful! This is truly a 5 star resort and restaurant tucked away in small town Sulphur OK. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves just enjoying the resort and it's emenities! My only partial negative thing to say: no prices were listed for anything during our stay. We knew the price of the room but did not know prices for dinners, spa treatments, drinks at the bar, or anything. The staff kept a tab of our expenses and we were given an explanation of the bill at checkout. We never swiped a card until checkout (a plus in my book) but we also underestimated the total cost of this trip.

Everything was very wonderful. The only issue I had was the misscommunication of the reservations. There was a room I was supposed to have and when I got there they wrong room was booked. I am overlooking that and hoping when I do come back I will have the proper room. Everything else was amazing and relaxing and the food was to die for!

My husband and I have given gift certificates to family members several times for a stay at Echo Canyon Spa Resort, but we had never been there ourselves. Every time our relatives went there they came back with rave reviews about the rooms, spa, food, and the hospitality of the innkeepers. We thought their reviews were possibly a little exaggerated -- until we went there ourselves!! They were right on! The rooms are lovely, comfortable, and very peaceful - just what we needed. The hosts were exceptional and the food was out of this world!! I told the chef, "I think this is what the food in Heaven will tast like" (minus the calories, of course). We are so proud to know we have such a state of the art spa/resort right here in our home town. We will definitely be going back and we encourage others to give it a try -- you will not be disappointed! Dewayne and Debbie Sulphur, OK

Echo Canyon Spa Resort is the best Bed and Breakfast I have been to. The room we stayed in was spacious, quiet, had a jacuzzi bath tube which we used twice. The room (captain) was elegantly decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful, showing us around the area, saying hello, and answering any questions we had. The breakfast was wonderful, fruit, french toast, waffles, turkey bacon, the works. We had a very relaxing and rejuvenating time at this bed and breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here. We will certainly be going back again.

Let me begin by saying I have been to B&Bs from Vermont to Oklahoma and Echo Canyon by far takes the cake. If there is anything you need they get it. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The Staff both at the B&B and Spa were always courteous and attentive. While the prices were a little lofty this particular visit coincided with our wedding anniversary so the added expense was fine especially for what we got. The property is quiet, serene and gated. The Van Horns and Staff were continually asking if everything was to our liking and if we needed anything. The food was both during breakfast and dinner was appealing to both the pallet and eyes. If I have a criticism it is their lack of availability of a noon time meal especially since our spa treatment lasted most of the day. I would suggest perhaps having the option for some sort of sandwiches or other finger food would further improve an already great experience. This would also remove the need to travel off the property. Thank you for making our anniversary a memorable one I am sure we will be back.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Echo Canyon. Jim and Carol were the ideal hosts who, along with their friendly and attentive staff, could not do enough to make your stay perfect. Our room was huge, clean and very comfortable with a nice view on a private balcony. We had a couples massage which was the best ever. The food was out of this world, both breakfast and dinner, and (not to be missed) our visits with Joe in the evenings at the bar were great fun and very entertaining. Without doubt, we will be back.

From the moment we checked in we were treated like family. Our room was amazing! It was cozy and intimate, just perfect for a romantic getaway! Our two course breakfast was so filling we didn't need to eat lunch and dinner was exquisite! The property was beautiful, absolutely gorgeous with all the fall colors so vivid around us. We really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and the staff was pleasantly behind the scenes yet ready to meet any request we had. We have already begun to recommend Echo Canyon to all our friends and family and hope to return soon for another stay!

Since this was not the first time to stay at Echo Canyon, we expected to get the same high quality service and accommodations, and that is what we got.

Joe and Carol are awesome and really make you feel welcome. Privacy and romance is a number one goal for the stay. The food was awesome, this was our 7th time and we will most definitely be back at least 7 more times.

Beautiful furnishings in the rooms, commons area and dining rooms. Staff members and innkeepers are friendly and helpful. Minor problems were resolved quickly. Breakfast was delicious, but dinner was a great! Dinner is worth the extra cost. We look forward to returning when we can.

This is probably the nicest b&b we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at several. My only complaint and it's not a big one is that the breakfast was the same both mornings. I like it when there is something different for breakfast each morning.

The room in which we stayed was exquisite, as was the evening meal. That is something you won't want to miss. The area attractions are worth spending time exploring, especially the Chickasaw National Recreation Area hiking trails and the Chickasaw Cultural Center. The hosts at the B&B are wonderful, the art pleasing and the spa refreshing...so enjoy!

Going there was a last minute event with my wife and I. I was on R&R from Afghanistan and they made us feel so welcome when we reached the resort. It was worth the 3 hour drive from Broken Arrow, OK. Upon reaching the resort, they informed us that we had been upgraded to the Monroe suite and it was breathtaking! The suite was just utterly beautiful, and it was clean, neat, welcoming and completely romantic. The patio had a wonderful view and the chairs were very comfortable. The bed was so relaxing we just wanted to take it home with us! The Jacuzzi in the room was perfect for our little relaxing getaway. I would recommend everyone to stay here. The breakfast that was included was just amazing. My wife and I both loved it here and will stay again, and for longer than one night. We will never forget it and like I said, we will definitely be staying here again.

This place was wonderful, had one of the best vacations in a long time, service, food, and accomodations were fabulous, and the hot rock massage was the icing on the cake. Don't miss this little hidden treasure.

We stayed at Echo Canyon for two day's and didn't want to leave. The breakfast and dinner was amazing. The spa is so relaxing, We had the couple's massage and it was the best ever! We enjoyed our recent stay at Echo Canyon. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the breakfast was outstanding! Ask for the blueberry granola pancakes. If you want a pretty view, ask for a room with a balcony overlooking the woods. Not all rooms have a view. You can see a million stars on a clear night. Spa and hot tub were great. We picked peaches and apples from their orchard. Hospitality was very good.

Very, very impressive, especially to be in somewhat rural Oklahoma. The area is surrounded by Chickasaw National Recreation Area, which was very fun for light to moderate hiking. Also, we were a short drive from enjoying our Fried Pie from Fried Pie company off of I-35. The room was fantastic; it's hard to beat having an in-room hot tub! With that in mind, though, the highlight of the trip were the meals. Breakfast included homemade jams and jellies that went perfectly with the wheat biscuit...and dinner, with the roasted duck/filet mignon/halibut was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. Don't forget to try the homemade pesto on the bread as well. Topped it off with hibiscus juice for a drink...wonderful. An excellent and intimate dining experience. I'd highly recommend it for anyone, and especially for those that wish to "get away from it all" from the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The food was great. We were very pleased with their efforts to make special occasions very special for the guests. The hot weather kept us from enjoying the deck as much as we would have liked, but we did see wild turkey one morning. Our next visit will probably be in cooler weather. The only negative thing I could say was that I was not sure where to go to check-in. It turned out to not be a problem because the very first people I saw were so helpful. Overall, an excellent experience.

We have spent our last three anniversaries at Echo Canyon. It makes the day special. The gourmet meal is what first caught our attention and it is always exceptional. We have been surprised with free room upgrades twice, and the spa massages are well worth it. It is simply an outstanding place.

My wife and I actually stayed here in 2004 when another B & B "lost" our resurvation. I got on line and found this place the price was cheaper but it blew the other place away in every catigory. We're heading back now that we've moved to the area again.

I didn't realize I could write a review until I received a card from another place we visited. So here is my opinion on Echo Canyon. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary in March 08. The room was gorgeous! The room itself was big and clean, with an armoire and drawers to store our belongings. The jacuzzi tub was so relaxing and the water hot! And there was plenty of hot water for the shower. The bed had lots of pillows and was very comfortable. The in room refrigerator was a good size, not the little squares like at some places. We had a small dining area, plus a comfy couch to lounge on. The balcony was private and had a nice view of the trees and grounds. I really enjoyed the entertainment at breakfast, got to watch all the birds congregating outside the window at the feeders! The coffee was good, the food tasty and filling. We chose to have dinner onsite one night and it was worth the price! Steak, shrimp, duck with a variety of sides. The grounds were very well kept, and the peaceful quiet of the country locale was a balm for our stressed souls! The Van Horns have a first class place and were friendly and accomodating hosts. We choose a place each year to celebrate our anniversary and we will keep this B&B on our list to visit again!

What an unexpected surprise to find such quality and beautiful ambience in Sulphur, Oklahoma! The Chickasaw National Park with its natural springs are an extra added bonus! The rooms are beautiful in design, big, with great views from their decks! They offer a dinner that was beyond any experience I have ever had. The breakfast was awesome and unique. Their spa and common area in a different building was absolutely gorgeous and I regretted that we did not have time to make use of the spa services! The peaceful music that drifted in and out of hearing set a mood of relaxation the second you arrive. They were so kind and helpful in their service, with several common areas, drinks, and snacks in the kitchen. The common areas have high vaulted ceilings, beautiful polished pine and a feeling of plenty of space. The inn is very new and pristine in presentation. We'll definitely go back!
