I have stayed here several times over the last few years. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Love the bed linens. Carol Lee loves being a hostess and is gracious, attentive and very enjoyable. Breakfast is served to you in a beautiful gathering room. You won't need lunch! Each breakfast is a gourmet treat. She also serves high tea the afternoon of your arrival. So relaxing and scrumptious. The great room always has coffee, tea or soft drinks available. The scenery is country- lovely and peaceful. There's a gazebo to enjoy in the warmer months. I look forward to a return trip.

This was the fourth time we stayed at Simple Pleasures. We feel like we have found a home away from home in Amish Country. What a nice place, the food is excellent and we always enjoy visiting with Carol.

I recently stayed at Simple Pleasures Bed & Breakfast for a long weekend in Ohio Amish Country. My time there turned out to be far more than just another vacation but rather a life changing experience. From the minute I walked into Simple Pleasures B&B and met Carol Lee to the morning of my departure, I was surrounded by a peaceful and serine environment, breathtaking views of the rolling hillside and the warmth and kindness of humble people, both Amish and English. Carol's knowledge of the Amish and suggestions of places to visit were impressive and very helpful. Carol has a natural ability to make you feel like you've known her for many years although you have just met. Simple Pleasures B&B is warm, inviting and a perfect place to rejuvenate your spirit and re-energize your soul. Carol is a wonderful story teller and my only regret is that I would have had more time to sit and visit with her more. The high tea on the day of my arrival was the perfect start to a memorable weekend. My favorite part of the day was being greeted by Carol and waiting to see what delicious and beautifully prepared breakfasts she would serve. The food was incredible and just the perfect amount to start off each new day. I am not sure my review can accurately describe what a wonderful place Simple Pleasures B&B is but I have already made plans to return in the fall, and have recommended it to several friends and family. If you are looking for a place to stay where you can relax, feel pampered and learn about Ohio Amish Country you will not regret visiting Simple Pleasures Bed & Breakfast.

I recently had my first B&B experience at Simple Pleasures, and I must say I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The hospitality was like no other, and I felt right at home. Carol Lee definitely picked the right path by going into this business. She welcomes you with one of the kindest hearts and personalities you'll ever encounter, and you'll definitely enjoy chatting with her a bit, as she has the best stories. With her knowledge of the area, she will always have suggestions for things to do, should you need them (there is also a wall full of brochures for your viewing/planning pleasure). The B&B and the grounds are so beautiful and peaceful and the rooms with tasteful decor. As for the food, the high tea and breakfasts are wonderfully creative, with beautiful presentation, and are simply delicious! If you're looking for a place to stay in Ohio's Amish Country, Simple Pleasures is the place to go! I was very satisfied with my stay and will stay there again. Highly recommend!

What a jewel - Carol immediately made you feel right at home as soon as you walked into her front door. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone going to that area and will definitely stay there again. A first class B&B. Great person and when we left we have a new friend.

My wife and I had our first B&B experience at Simple Pleasures on June 27 and 28. We are certain that our experience will be hard to match at any other B&B. The reception we received from Carol Lee was extemely warm and inviting. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We stayed in Aunt Hallie's room. Carol Lee's knowledge of the Amish people and the area were invaluable to us as we explored the area. The breakfasts were simple and exquisite. The High Tea upon our arrival was a great start to our short mini-vacation in Ohio's Amish country. We can not recommend Simple Pleasures highly enough. We will be returning again and bringing friends with us, so that they may enjoy this treasure as well. Tom and Jackie

My husband & I chose Simple Pleasures for our honeymoon. Our hosts were fabulous. Carol Lee did something for me that I could not have been more grateful - washed my clothes, that were dirty due to a medical issue. The room was wonderful and very accessible for me.
