The new owners Jerry and Paula are absolutely wonderful people. We were made to feel like we were the only ones staying there. We had plans during the day that ran late and they offered to either change our dining reservation to a later time or they could bring our dinner to our cabin. And we met some fantastic people sitting out at the camp fire. We certainly want to return again!

We wanted to go someplace not too far from home, but still get away. Murphin Ridge was just the right place. We stayed at one of the cabins, which was peaceful and had all the amenities to make it enjoyable. The food served at breakfast and dinner was delicious with dishes that were very creative and ingredients that were fresh from the local gardens. The hiking that was close by ( Shawnee State Park and the Edge of Appalachia Preserve) provided wonderful outdoor activities to complete our weekend. We will definitely come back.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Murphin Ridge Inn In West Union , Ohio. It was an unforgettable experience. The new owners Jerry and Paula Schutt went out of their way to make sure that we were served meals to accommodate our schedule and that my wife could get a late checkout while I attended a class at the Tactical Defense Institute. Everyone on staff was most pleasant. The property is well maintained and very scenic with many deer visible in the distance. We stayed in a king cabin that featured a king size bed, two-sided fireplace, large whirlpool tub and six showerhead shower. Very romantic and very relaxing. Would highly recommend the Murphin Ridge Inn.

Cancellations: Murphin Ridge is a small country inn and our policy is to not overbook rooms or cabins. Reservations cancelled 15 days or less prior to a scheduled stay will result in a loss of the deposit, unless the room or cabin can be rented by the Murphin Ridge Inn. In all cases, a $25.00 handling fee will be charged. Reservations secured with Gift Certificates are treated the same as the above policy, deductions will be made from face value of the certificate. Now shows will be charged full price of lodging for the reserved stay.

There aren't enough words to describe our stay at Murphin Ridge Inn! The service was exceptional, food delicious, room clean and cozy, and the whole atmosphere was friendly and heart-warming. We were so rested and at peace while there. Such a great getaway and we will surely be back!
