We invite you to explore our wooded trails and take along a picnic lunch prepared by our chef. Enjoy a game of tennis or basketball on our courts, or relax by our seasonal pool. Read, nap, or play a game of croquet. If you must leave the Inn, take the short trip to historic Serpent Mound, the surrounding Amish community or other nearby attractions. As the sun sets, join us in our 1820s Farm House for dinner, where our chef prepares delicious, fresh regional cuisine. Then, when the candles dim, stroll back to the Guest House to read and chat with other guests in the great room or retire to one of our cozy, modern guest rooms, custom furnished by southern Ohio's master craftsman, David T.     • Minimum stay: weekend, 2 nights

    • Deposit amount required: Reservations are secured with credit card or check. If by check, deposit amount is $100.00 for Inn rooms and $150.00 for Woodland Cabins

    • Cancellations: Murphin Ridge is a small country inn and our policy is to not overbook rooms or cabins. Reservations cancelled 15 days or less prior to a scheduled stay will result in a loss of the deposit, unless the room or cabin can be rented by the Murphin Ridge Inn. In all cases, a $25.00 handling fee will be charged. Reservations secured with Gift Certificates are treated the same as the above policy, deductions will be made from face value of the certificate. Now shows will be charged full price of lodging for the reserved stay.

    My husband and I just had our first stay at Murphin Ridge Inn and it won't be our last. We rented one of the new cabins, Encore, and were surpirsed at how nice it was. This little hidden gem was a nice secret. It was very warm and cozy . Nice furnishings with all the imenities. Hot tub, glass enclosed , freestanding fireplace. Very well appointed room with every attention to detail in a wooded area that feels very private. The dining in a restored colonial was amazing and a nice surprise. we weren't expecting a chef and food of that quality. The owners are onsite and hands on. Very engaging and make sure everything it to your satifation. They even cleared the snow from our truck early the next morning!

    The food and service was excellent, everyone made us feel welcome and like old friends. The cabins are beautiful and everything we expected. This was our fourth visit and each time is everything we hoped for. We'll be back again, soon.

    We had 3 couples each with a cabin. It was the perfect mix of togetherness and aloneness with your spouse. Meals and service where outstanding. Would like to return in warner weather.

    Cleanliness would have been rated outstanding if the glass on the fireplace had not been dirty on the inside. That's it, everything else was wonderful. The staff and owners are all very accommodating and friendly.
