Antiques abound with Victorian decorations. Bob and Ted were so warm and welcoming upon my very late at night arrival and the next morning and mid-evening the second night too. If ever I relocated to Portage County I would for sure start my new life with a week under their roof. I know I'd be well supported and oh-so-well rested.

When you first walk up to the Rocking Horse, you ask if it can be as good as the reviews say it is, because it looks a bit tattered on the outside. It is not tattered on the inside. It is very comfortable. Everything you need and much beyond that is there. Owner Bob is usually available only around breakfast time, but it isn't hard to figure out what isothere and how things work.

The house was quiet and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the hot tub in enclosed "garden room". Nice touch with wine basket in room with two wine glasses. Breakfast was a wonderful array of foods and beverages. We loved the fresh fruit! Thanks so much for helping us have a nice anniversary get-away.

Comfortable place. Felt like being in a home rather than a hotel. Bob was hospitable but did not hover. Helped with directions in the area and was knowledgeable. Snacks and drinks, newspapers, all readily available...an overall relaxing weekend.

We needed a place to stay in the Stow, Ohio area and found this B&B at Trip Advisor. Everything about our stay was perfect. The owner emailed us a code for the front door so we did not have to worry about arriving by a certain time. The kitchen was open to us with all sorts of drinks and snacks. The room was beautiful. I was particularly impressed with how clean everything was, no dust anywhere! We enjoyed visiting with a couple from Florida at breakfast and talking with the owner Bob. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Beautiful accommodations in a lovely area. Very convenient to Kent which was our destination. You pretty much are given open access to the house and the host is very generous with snacks and goodies. Would definitely return here if in the area (would be fun to try all the different rooms).

Bob was a super nice guy. The house was like a favorite grand-mom's with a kitchen full of snacks. A clean, comfy place to rest.
