This comfortable B&B is so charming and quaint. My husband and I were so comfortable during our stay and hope to return again soon. Vicki and Ed are the perfect hosts. Ed makes a hell of a cinnamon roll and Vicki brews a great cup of coffee. Great location...walking distance to town, short walk to ferry to the islands. Don't miss the opportunity to stay here.

We needed a place for Saturday night only, and I was able to get this place for just one night. Although from what I understand there is a 2 night minimum, however, if you ask and it works out for the owner that one of the bedrooms is available for just one night then you may be able to get it like we did. Everything was clean, cute decor, friendly owner, 3-5 minute walk to the Jet Express. The room was large and had a private bathroom with a shower, a tiny sink and toilet. It is a small bathroom but you get everything you need. It was quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was great as well and from the sounds of it the owner will accommodate your unusual eating requests as well, if there is a need. THANK YOU!

The Marshall Inn is a clean, comfy and well-decorated oasis right in the heart of the town. Our bedroom was huge, and the bed was quite comfortable and gave us a good night's rest. The bathroom was on the small side and had only a shower, but it was sufficient for our needs. Although the Inn is only a block from a railroad line, we did not find the trains disturbing, even though we kept a window open. The Inn and the neighborhood are otherwise very quiet. The Inn is a five-minute walk to "downtown," which has some nice bars and restaurants. The owners have their own chickens and served a breakfast that included some of the best eggs we had ever tasted, as well as fabulous homemade cinnamon rolls. We were not looking for luxury - we were looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay that, for one night, made us feel like regular residents of the town - and that is what we got. We would definitely recommend the Marshall Inn and intend to stay there again the next time we are in Port Clinton.

We first visited Vickie & Ed in October 2007 on a business trip. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked New Year's Eve and the "Walleye Drop". Our friends came also for the New Year's Eve celebration and it felt like one big happy family. Vickie makes you feel very welcome, the rooms are so cozy, and you are within walking distance to everything in Port Clinton. We cannot wait to stay again.
