I used 3 of the 4 rooms at Fitzgeralds for me and my family to attend my son's wedding so I got to take over the place and it was perfect.

This is a great place to stay for a quiet weekend getaway. It is close to the wineries (Your Vine or Mine is within walking distance- great desserts!). The house has a lot of character. I felt like I was on a trip in Ireland. The pet ducks that roam the back yard are awesome. Very friendly staff, unique rooms, amazing breakfast, all at an affordable price. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms and linens were very clean. This place really raises the bar for bed and breakfasts. I can't wait to stay at Fitzgerald's again. I would recommend this place to everyone.

My wife and I have been married for 16 years and ONLY stay at B&B's. This, by far, was EXTRODINARY!!!!! The home was beyond beautiful. It was literally like stepping into the pages of Grimm fairy tale. The breakfasts were amazing and the committment to detail is second to none. We visited Cleveland for three days and felt it was well worth the 30 minute drive back and forth just to have this experience.

my first time using a B&B, wow who knew it could be so pleasant. the owners were helpful, friendly, kind, and FUN". they made us feel at home right away. the outside was of the home was refreshing who knew "DUCKS" the entire property was spotless. food to die for ( I think someone is a chef ). I could write for hours about this place but I hate typing. so I encourage every one to stay at my new found little Ireland. you won't be disappointed. oh I almost forgot the charm above the door threshold was heart warming.

We recently visited wine country in northern Ohio and found Fitzgerald's B & B on the internet. We couldn't have been more pleased. The Irish music, the beautiful home with so many Irish "touches," and the hospitality of Debra and Tom, made our stay extremely comfortable. The bedrooms were huge and cozy at the same time. Waddles and Wiggles (ducks) were so cute. Every evening, our party of four, sat outside on the patio with glasses of wine. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed two nights in the Galway room which is an updated, modern, spacious room on 1st floor. Innkeepers were very accomodating and courteous, especially Debra who was happy and smiling every time we saw her which tells us she really loves what she is doing. Loved the jacuzzi tub and the bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was served by Debra in the dining room in 3 courses along with the other guests at one table and was different each day which was a bonus. My wife thought the breakfast combo was too sweet on the 2nd day but I enjoyed them both. The coffee could be better but then again we are dark roast drinkers. Debra also suggested a wonderful seafood place for dinner which exceeded our expectations so thanks for that! I like the fact you can come and go as you please with a room key as well as a key to the rear entrance but it would be nice if all the guests could manage to find their way back to the inn by 10pm or if arriving later be quiet and considerate of other guests. We were on the first floor and had no issues on the first night so it was great. However, on the second night a new couple had checked in above us didn't come back to the inn until 11:15 and they proceeded to walk around above us for a full hour! I honestly don't know why its necessary to walk around that much when its almost midnight except for the fact they didn't really care about anybody else except themselves. Since this is an older home, the floor creaks with every footstep so that was really annoying when you're trying to sleep as well as water running and flushing toilets, etc. I understand this is the risk you take when you stay on the bottom floor and I've had similar situations occur at other hotels so it was just unfortunate circumstances. Overall we had a great time and we would definately consider staying again. Beautiful B&B, just beware of the courtesy of the guests above you.

Ham and Egg Breakfast Braid
Our Ham and Egg Breakfast Braid is one of our most requested recipes. A flaky croissant is wrapped around scrambled eggs and a layer of maple cured ham. Most breakfasts are also served with one of Tom's many specialty scones. You will love them!
