The Housley House & English garden
The Housley House Bed and Breakfast is a spacious and cozy Victorian Italianate home that was built in 1883 and is listed on the National Registry of historical homes. Yet you will only feel a sense of home when you enter! The restored home is very cozy and warm and is the perfect place for you to rest and get away from it all.
Some guests return monthly to enjoy one of many extended porchs that has the luxury of sitting on a swing and people watch or view the beautiful sunset as it sets over the historical Maumee River. There are also rocking chairs located throughout the grounds of the Housley House and you may choose to sit in the enchanted English garden that is filled with beautiful perennials, roses of every color and unique plants and flowers while you listen to the beautiful antique 3 tiered water fountain.
There is so much to do while visiting the Housley House but if you should decide not to "do" alot of activities, and just want to relax, hide and getaway......this is the place! Read our reviews! They say it all! Then come see if they are true.... and you decide.

- Our signature dish is Green Chili California Breakfast
As a child Teresa Marie spent summers at her Aunt and Uncle's Bed and Breakfast in York Beach, Maine, called The Pink house and then later on in her years she ran a Bed and Breakfast herself in the Sierra Mountains of California close to Lake Tahoe and it was here that she fell in love with all the different types of local foods and when starting up her own Bed and Breakfast in Grand Rapids, Ohio she decided to bring a little of California and a little bit of York Beach Maine to Grand Rapids, Ohio. This wonderful Breakfast dish has just a little bite, combined with 3 different cheeses and fluffy eggs starts your day off on the right foot and will keep your tummy happy until its time for lunch downtown at one of our awesome restaurants. Teresa Marie's bread pudding, specialty scone and hot punch are visitors favorites. But the thing that Teresa Marie is really known for and goes beyond for is her gift of hospitality and serving. That is what people return for. To be spoiled and relax.
